Thanks @TheGirlWhoLived for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@LyraSilvertongueBelacqua

I've bought two candles too Grin

I have a JL card but can't see any Lego discount?

I couldn't see any Lego discount in my JL card rewards, but the code worked for me nonetheless
caffeineanddryshampoo · 26/09/2020 21:43

Now I've bought a candle :D

Adelais · 26/09/2020 21:45

workingfortheclampdown · 26/09/2020 21:52

@LostMyRubySlippers There is an English language option on Amazon.de, if the link below doesn't work you can click on the little German flag on the right hand side of the search box.

Might make it a bit easier to see if there is a free freight option...

Anydreamwilldo12 · 26/09/2020 22:02

Brand alley code not working for me with just the slippers. Might have to just pay full price for them, they look very nice.
Resisting the candles, they are so lovely but I have an abundance of lovely candles bought for gifts which I don't want to part with so they continue to reside in my cupboard.

sohypnotic · 26/09/2020 22:03

More Matalan codes for anyone who wants them

Oh thanks for the candles! Perfect little addition to sisters birthday present!

Also thank you for all the cheese hamper recommendations on the last thread, will have a proper look tomorrow when I get some time!

Puffalicious · 26/09/2020 22:43

Last year I wrapped with brown paper and beautiful Christmas ribbon with a Christmas bell and home made tags. They were absolutely gorgeous.

Got lots of compliments and eco friendly.

LyraSilvertongueBelacqua · 26/09/2020 22:48

@PowerslidePanda what is the code please? I've read the thread and cannot see it. Will go back to the last one.

Ivebeengood · 26/09/2020 23:10

@CoffeeAndEnnui it depends really. I bought initially for my DP off our 5 year old, but the box is massive and cane in handy for modelling today... Anyhow, the box is a plain cardboard box and you open it to reveal the bags of crisps, underneath you have everything else - the pictures someone added in the thread don’t reflect what I received. They must send out less If they don’t have as much stock.

We received a massive bag of popcorn, a small tub of popcorn, 4 large cardboard popcorn holders, a
Star Wars awakening metal tin, two bags of tortilla chips (with four dips), 2 bags of curly crisps. The popcorn is fine, the curly crisps are tasty.

I think, as a gift I wouldn’t want to receive it as it didn’t feel special, more so the value of “OMG, that’s massive!” - kids would love it, again the awe of the sheer amount of popcorn. I did see some fancy popcorn from JoSeph, so adult to adult, posh popcorn and treats you wouldn’t usually buy for yourself. The movie package is your standard cinema stuff - although I could tell the difference that it wasn’t what I’d usually get at the Odeon (I love their popcorn and nachos with cheesy sauce), the quality of this popcorn wasn’t at that level.

gingerbeerandlemonade · 26/09/2020 23:10

@allatonce99 I can confirm that they are nice tea! Have the candles gone back up in price? They're showing at £5.50 now. Still looks like a good bargain but I saw £3 somewhere on here I think.

Ivebeengood · 26/09/2020 23:11

*Small tub of candy floss not popcorn. The popcorn is bigger than my 1 year old.

WithIcePlease · 26/09/2020 23:12

Hi I wonder can anyone remember last year someone posted about a handheld game console with about 20 games on it, not something you could download games onto just already set games on it, I know that's a bit vague but does anyone remember it ?

fourquenelles · 26/09/2020 23:18

Not wrapping paper per se but Willow and Stone have some fabulous sheets of paper that are really thick and good quality for £4.50. I have one of vintage style flamingos framed (in big IKEA frame) and hung on my wall. Would make great poster presents for children.
