Thanks @TheGirlWhoLived for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@Puffalicious

Can I just say that I love the feeling of community son this thread: everyone helping each other, it's like Christmas spirit right here in our own, wee bubble.Smile
It's fab isn't it? Busy day here as schools finally reopened then DD had optician so I've only bought a £49 oodie. I did nonchalantly take a parcel off one of my many couriers and leave it on the side thinking idly "dunno what would come in a box like that" then opened it go discover a Dyson part. Not for me but for someone miles away. Ran down the street in my slippers to exchange it for the H&B shower gels and pillow sprays I ordered at some vague % off moment last week Grin

@lucysmam, I think I am eBay ribbon poster. I searched for "grosgrain silk silver White Christmas" etc. Just put in the colours and any specific words then it narrows it down.

myhobbyisouting · 28/09/2020 22:16

@allatonce99 regarding the eligible products...there aren't many there although in the print it says "tens of thousands of eligible products"

I can't work it out but there are some truffles that look a nice gift for £12, beeswax wraps and a personalised travel scrap book

Emma10702 · 28/09/2020 22:21

For those interested in Penhaligons, if you type in Unboxed on the search page of their website it brings up some discounted items. I managed to get a couple. I added the WELCOMEPEN code and also found a code which will hopefully get me a free candle
which was PENCANDLEGIFT. I got the Oud de Nil & Bayola for £57 inc delivery. Im blind buying so hopefully will be okay for MIL & step dad.

myhobbyisouting · 28/09/2020 22:22

Ignore me. I think you just scroll further than I did Blush

gaggiagirl · 28/09/2020 22:31

Did I read on the previous thread that home bargains sells weighted blankets? DS has just announced his need for one and I'm going there tomorrow anyway.

TheGriffle · 28/09/2020 22:33

Was the consensus on the earlier threads that Smyths wasn’t doing any sale/vouchers/offers this year, not even online? I’ve found something my 3yo would adore but still resent paying full price.

GandalfTheGoat · 28/09/2020 22:37

2020 Covid tree decoration on amazon here for £1 something - different options for the number of family members.

Ewock · 28/09/2020 22:41
@ewock my Ds has loved Pokemon for more years than I care to remember. But the pokeballs with little characters in and the satchel are a must.
He also spends hours looking at the Pokemon encyclopedias. There are a few different ones but they cost about a fiver I think (sometimes on offer through the scholastic company the schools use).

He also has a toy that is meant to guess the Pokemon by asking yes and no questions. It probably gets the answer wrong as often as it gets it right but he seems to find that hilarious Hmm. He has a few plush ones I have bought for about a fiver on amazon. He has wooly hats in Pokemon characters. He has a plush Pokemon pencil case.

These are all bits picked up cheaply as stocking fillers, probably off amazon and eBay.
Thank you so much. I will start having a look through. Can I ask what the satchel is? Had a quick google and so many different ones come up! I might need an encylopedia myself!

gavisconismyfriend · 28/09/2020 22:47

@Emma10702 - thank you! I got 3 x 140g candles for £36! Should have been £32 each. Was only going to order 2, but 3 got me free delivery, so saved the £5.50 delivery charge - meaning the 3rd candle only cost £6.50 really! Ticked the box for a gift box and put in the candle code too, so will see if that comes to anything - but it was a bargain shop anyway so anything extra will be a double bonus. Welcompen code didn't seem to do anything so I removed it, will be interested to hear if you get anything from it. Thanks so much again.

Emma10702 · 28/09/2020 22:51

I think that code might only work on spend over £60 from what I read. It also didn’t work if I tried to buy something unboxed & then something from the main site. Glad you are happy with your buys. There wasn’t much left when I got there. I found a thread that was on hot deals uk it seems they do this quite regularly and this went live about 3 days ago so worth keeping an eye on in future.

myhobbyisouting · 28/09/2020 22:55

@GandalfTheGoat thank you! I've been looking for a good price on a covid bauble Grin

Emma10702 · 28/09/2020 22:58

@GandalfTheGoat I quite like that Xmas tree decoration but I’m not sure I want to commemorate this year! Might be fun for the kids Xmas eve box though. I’ll probs purchase for that price.

gavisconismyfriend · 28/09/2020 23:12

TESTER also works as a search on Penhaligons - couple of items available there at good prices

Puffalicious · 28/09/2020 23:29

Soooo tempted by the slippers now!

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 29/09/2020 00:01

Thanks to whoever posted about the Oodie sale! I just purchased one which had a £25 discount so was £54 instead of £79! The sale is still on incase anyone else is interested Smile

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 29/09/2020 00:02

Also the Salted Caramel Cupcakes and Chocolate Cheesecake Brownies are reduced to £1.87 on Amazon atm

DumplingsAndStew · 29/09/2020 00:11

Got some salted caramel cupcakes, thanks. Still really, really want the buns though.

passremarkable · 29/09/2020 00:24

@luxplus Wonderbly have a lovely personalised search and find book called Where are you? if you go via this link you get £10 off your first order. They are a bit pricey but really lovely books.

Bluewavescrashing · 29/09/2020 00:56

I've ordered the beeswax wraps from amazon. Looking forward to my £10 voucher on prime day!

Bluewavescrashing · 29/09/2020 00:57

Meant to say, I was looking for some anyway so am pleased to get a bonus voucher. I use a shameful amount of Clingfilm Blush

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 29/09/2020 01:02

Buns!!!

Tigger83 · 29/09/2020 01:12

Thanks for the Penhaligon's tips got one boxed and 2 unboxed candles for £15 per candle! That's a 50th birthday sorted plus a little treat for me. I have asked for it to be gift boxed so hopefully that works.

myhobbyisouting · 29/09/2020 01:17

I ordered chlorine from Amazon for the hot tub. Boring I know but it got me a prime voucher and I'm hoping for a bargain ancestry kit Grin

Isadora2007 · 29/09/2020 03:44

@allatonce99

This one was down at £17.99 when I bought two in grey.
They’re fab
