Thanks @TheGirlWhoLived for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

www.marksandspencer.com/rhubarb-gin-liqueur-snow-globe-prosecco-and-nut-selection/p/hpp60496068

It's out of stock now too, was £18 when someone originally posted the deal

thelegohooverer · 27/09/2020 14:35

Dithering over the iwoot Mario Lego and t shirt. It’s perfect for ds, but there’s also every chance he’ll change his mind. I’m probably wiser to hang on for now and pay more in Smyths for the security of being able to change it easily. It’s so hard to pass up a good bargain.

Twilightstarbright · 27/09/2020 14:43

Thank you @superstar84 I'm not adverse to getting it at £40 as it's a good gift to get delivered straight to someone who lives at the other end of the UK to me. I'll keep watching- along with the buns!

DS is off nursery for two weeks at Christmas and DH works every day over Christmas so I'd love the buns to make with him one day when it's just the two of us. In temporary accommodation whilst we move house so no baking equipment of our own to hand!

superstar84 · 27/09/2020 14:46

Have a look at the aldi hampers, they've got some really nice ones

I agree it's still good for £40, I managed to get 1 in each flavour for my parents. Think I'll keep the Prosecco for Xmas day though 😆

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 27/09/2020 14:46

Does anyone know if the big Smashers Dino Egg is on deal anywhere please? I tried to get it from my Asda as was reduced to £16 but it was sold out but all the ones local to me

Also I have 2 Matalan codes if anyone would like them? £10 off a £50+ spend and £15 off a £75+ spend

superstar84 · 27/09/2020 14:47

Also bakedin on amazon have a nice rainbow cake set for £8 which includes the tins

That will keep dd busy for a morning

Ewock · 27/09/2020 15:07

@luckiestgirl I’m sure I saw weighted blankets in home bargains for £20/25!

Can anyone repost the candle link?

buckeejit · 27/09/2020 15:17

Please shout if anyone sees anywhere to buy or preorder PS5. I wasn't ready to commit before but I am now!

peasando · 27/09/2020 15:23

@Uselessindisguise I got free delivery at Hamleys but had to spend over £25 to get it

villamariavintrapp · 27/09/2020 15:25

I hope m and s do honour the hampers, but I don't think they're worth £40 unless I'm missing something? Gin is £18, prosecco I think £10 and nuts can't be worth more than a couple £. Great for £18, but rip off for £40!

tabbycat985 · 27/09/2020 15:30

@BeingLonely https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07W4WY8K2/ref=cmswwrcppawdbbtfft1oekCFbXP7XV66?vs=1
Some of them have gone back up in price now.

Maddie2802 · 27/09/2020 15:32

Anyone know of any good dolls house furniture deals? For my daughter who just turned 2! 😊

liquiddiamonds · 27/09/2020 15:33

@whatwillicallmyself I'd say it's probably a bit young for an 11 year old, it's quite basic. DS had just turned 5 when he got it last year and can play most of the games with no problems. He only really plays it occasionally now. I wouldn't say it's worth the £30 you've seen it for on Amazon either, good at the price Studio has it for but I wouldn't pay much more than that. Perhaps it's worth looking into getting a bargain second hand console like Ewock did?

@Ewock thanks for the heads up on Studio! Had no idea they were so bad. Was thinking of putting an order in this year but will think twice about it now.

Also thanks to those who suggested Marketplace for a kids bike a couple of threads back. Found a really decent one that looks brand new for just £25. Got it today and have squirelled it away from prying eyes. DS will be over the moon!

KillZill · 27/09/2020 15:36

I bought from Beehive toy factory last year after a recommendation on this thread.
They are currently running a 30% sale on some items and also offering discount for first orders.

Lots of wooden toys for preschoolers.
This pirate fishing game is still a favourite past time for DTs now. (The boat is a little flimsy for two 2 year olds)
The threading beads are also a hit and good quality.

BeingLonely · 27/09/2020 15:44

Thank you @tabbycat985

Ewock · 27/09/2020 15:44

No problem with the Studio heads up. As I say it wasn't the fact it stopped working it was the service. We have found fb marketplace great for getting bikes for the kids at bargain prices. Also Ebay for different toys. A few years back we got a load of Octonauts toys of a seller was fantastic and easy to give a quick clean once it was delivered. Does anyone know what offers Smyths might do? My dd would love the Paw Patrol dino tower but £50 seems a lot for it!

Crispsginchoc · 27/09/2020 15:49

Can I just say thank you to everyone for the useful ideas and links.
I’ve been lurking Grin and bought four candles (3 pressies and one for me), 2 bottles of gin (one for my parents), foiled jigsaw, the brownie kit (rather than the bun kit) and am even contemplating an oodie. Never heard of them before!
Sorry I don’t have any bargains to add right now.
I noticed our M&S had lots of the gins in yesterday, but only a few of the Christmas brownie cream liquer - which I’m dying to try, but really need to resist until at least after Halloween!!

PhantomErik · 27/09/2020 15:57

Lottie doll canoe set on lightning deals £16.99

No dolls included but a nice set.

Sorry I can't do links on my phone Sad
