Constantly Lindt is nice, but expensive.
Wreck Sainsburys do some dark choc squares with orange or mint - bit like an after 8, but fatter. Enjoy the curry and the peace and quiet.
Crazy can't wait to see the finished wreath, are you going to get some battery powered fairy lights for it? I'm still plodding on with a cross stitch one.

Evening all. My back and shoulder has been really sore again. I'm sure a couple of glasses of wine will help 😉.

I'm actually having a wee glass of mulled wine and looking out at the torrential rain.

I did get out to post my parcel today and my guitar print wrapping paper arrived for using on DS's presents.

I bought the Sainsbury Magazine Get Ahead For Christmas . There's a recipe for a Mincemeat Bread Wreath which could be perfect with a good wedge of homemade marzipan, cherries , almonds and some icing instead of mincemeat .

I need to read mine, 70. Plus the other 2 I have! 😂😂 I never find time to put sufficient energy into it. 🙄

I'm so full I can't move. And that was with ds stealing half my curry. 🐷

puss I have a few sets of battery fairy lights knocking around here somewhere so I'd definitely consider using some. Just when I'm going to be able to fit in making a wreath I'm not sure - it may have to be for next year....

DH organised us a 'date night' - we went out for tea to a pub up the road and now watching a film, me with a rum, him with a beer. Haven't broken out the magazine yet - I may do that tomorrow while DH is on a hike and I have the house to myself

We've booked breakfast for 8, as we're going to see Why before our parents, so it's a busy morning!

Jealous of your breakfast fluffy. I had butter chicken and saag paneer. Ds had chicken tikka (just the chicken not the sauce) and lots of my butter chicken. He eats so much.

I'm just about to make ds toast and eggs... I hate eggs and so am not very good at cooking them

Wreck I love eggs. They do have a tendency to make me windy.

70 that would be useless to me as DH has finished the bread and chucked the crusts out for the sparrows

Fried but he only likes them with the yolk hard otherwise I would have been ok!

Wreck you can also have my strawberry creams - I don't like mixing chocolate and fruit (with the exception of chocolate oranges obviously). Hmm I do like Lindt Boots but I really want a large tin to eat mindlessly nibble thoughtfully over Christmas. I request some nice chocolate as well that is just for me

I've run out of everything this morning. The dc had wheatabix and there's only 2 left for tomorrow for them. I've no eggs or bread left so I had to have a cup of tea and stollen for breakfast.
Thankfully Sainsbury's is coming tomorrow afternoon.

I go through an unbelievable amount of eggs per week. If I'm baking I could go through at least 2 dozen.

Morning all :) We are at softplay then will have a full cooked breakfast, can't wait!

Red cabbage for Christmas is in the slow cooker and DH is making the Christmas cake later.

Will go to the allotment later and start digging over and putting the weed membrane down. We are complete converts to Gousto now so have revised my plans for the allotment and will focus on fruit and cut flowers.
