New thread again. Doesn't seem 5 minutes since the last one! 😂

@FireflyGirl. My Dad was a professional chef before he and Mum married, and when he'd cooked for birthdays (only time he cooked at home) you couldn't see the kitchen for pans and bowls! I suppose chefs are used to someone cleaning up after them.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 30/09/2020 17:41

Woolly no, days can be even more stressful to be honest. The whole job is a stress magnet.

TheWoollybacksWife · 30/09/2020 17:55

Sorry to hear that why. Enjoy your rest days

pussycatinboots · 30/09/2020 17:59

I think we've just had a whole days worth of rain in about half an hour. Some of my pots were floating on the patio.
Woolly I've still got my Shaeffer fountain pen from school somewhere!

Mrsmadevans · 30/09/2020 18:31

Just catching up on All Creatures, it is so lovely Smile
Why it's so stressful for you Flowers
Wreck l can't hold a pen properly either, l think l must have a bit of dyspraxia tbh l can't really do knitting or crocheting no matter how hard l try !

lachy · 30/09/2020 19:28

Definitely bid for it Woolly

I'm going to have to browse M&S now...this may be rather expensive Confused

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 30/09/2020 21:38

My laptop is being an arse and not letting me view the whole thread or last page

I have bought a Socks Advent Calendar for DD ( 12 pairs = 24 socks )

The glamour Xmas Grin

ConstantlyCooking · 30/09/2020 22:13

Looking forward to browsing the M&S and Waitrose Christmas food offerings Smile. Christmas isn't long enough to eat all the food I would like to buy/cook! Thank you for the Matalan info Nero. I would bid for the pen woolly - you could use it for Christmas cards and writing in your Christmas notebook!**

NoWordForFluffy · 30/09/2020 22:27

Apparently Sainsbury's food to order is available to order now too.

I'm still bored of yellow. And still a way to go yet!

Lachy, I reckon you are way ahead of the game doing stuff for next year!

Where's the cost from, Why?

The coat is from Elsie's Attic Fluffy.

pussycatinboots · 01/10/2020 05:32

Not seen our Hedgehog for a while. We know he's been, as he is kind enough to poo everywhere as a little "I'm still here" message.🤔🦔🤦🏻‍♀️

Morning!

I'm meant to be running, but some selfish twats were kicking the bins at 2.30 meaning I was awake for 2 hours after being woken. What gets into these arseholes?

It's a cross stitch, Mrs, it's meant to be neat!

Penultimate day in this job. Wooooooo!

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 01/10/2020 06:55

Looking at the offerings I think I will go for Sainsburys Food to Order.

CrazyBaubles · 01/10/2020 07:41

You're flying with your cross stitch Fluffy. I feel like I'm getting nowhere with mine!

Cute hedgehog MrsMad. Do you feed him?

Yesterday was not a good day. Work is manic and even though I worked on I didn't get everything done so have a busy morning ahead (I logged on at 7 today). DH was an arse so we had a bit of a row and I dropped and smashed 2 glasses while clearing the kitchen 😡
Fingers crossed today is better 🤞🏼

NoWordForFluffy · 01/10/2020 07:46

It's such a small stitch though, Crazy. You're definitely progressing.

Were the glasses anything special, or 'just' glasses? How frustrating.

Sorry your work is mad, I hope it calms dow soon.

Most, I prefer the Sainsbury's offering too.

Mrsmadevans · 01/10/2020 07:57

Yes Crazy we feed him wet cat food every night as soon as he appears from hibernation. There are a couple of others we need to catch now to make sure they are ok 😊 Sorry your work is a bit manic and DH is being a bit hard going . Everyone has bad and good days and l hope it's all blown over now 💐
Great stuff Fluffy re nearly finishing 👍😃

pussycatinboots · 01/10/2020 08:32

Mrs How do you catch a hedgehog? Mine always scuttle off under the shed or under a plant if they hear me. 🤦🏻‍♀️
I'm imagining your DH wearing a head torch and wielding a butterfly net chasing them around the garden in the dark. 🦔🦔🦔

Mrsmadevans · 01/10/2020 08:45

Boot Dh looks out for them every night. They come out and the security light comes on so we can see them. Then we all go out with a cardboard box and catch him. When they realise they are caught they just roll into a ball and it's easy to hold them then. We call DH the hedgie whisperer 😀 he's really good with the birds and frogs and toads and insects and garden.

pussycatinboots · 01/10/2020 08:47

Hedgie Whisperer 🦔🦔🦔🦔
😂😂😂😂😂

Mrsmadevans · 01/10/2020 08:50

He has other talents 😂😂😂😂

Mrsmadevans · 01/10/2020 08:51

Some of them hidden 😂😂😂

CrazyBaubles · 01/10/2020 09:10

I'm taking a breather to have some breakfast.

Fluffy the glasses weren't special but they were 2 of only 4 glasses we have which aren't pint glasses. I hardly ever drink a full pint of anything and hate drinking out of a pint glass so those 4 were mine and now I only have 2 left.
It was my own stupidity too which annoyed me more. I'd got them out of the dishwasher, put them down to open the cupboard door and caught the top of one with me elbow, pushed it into the one next to it and they both fell on the floor 🙄

MrsMad all blown over now. He was stressed after a parent basically waited in the car park and caught him as he was coming home after he told her he didn't have time to meet with her yesterday. He came home in a mood and it went from there, but I had an apology and a cuppa brought to my desk this morning so all is forgiven.

Love your hedgie whisperer DH 😊 Mine was brought up on a farm so he's good with cows, sheep, chickens etc but he is amazing with dogs and horses. When we go to MILS he does the horses hay, talks to them etc and they love him, and no matter what rescue dog(s) she has at the time, they always befriend him. I love watching him when we're there Blush

NoWordForFluffy · 01/10/2020 09:26

Crazy, DH has the same but with small children! They all LOVE him. 😂😂

How annoying re the glasses. We have dozens of the bloody things. If you were nearer you could have some!
