Has anyone got any recommendations on a bargain magazine subscription for my dd (8). Shes a very reluctant reader, so hoping to find something engaging for her. She's into dolls (lol, barbie anything!), fashion (she loves clothes and shoes!), and animals. She watches animal documentaries on Netflix alot!!

Ideally a weekly and a bargain!!

Natural geographic kids is good. They often have free books with a subscription

@Carrie76 ive used OnBuy twice from what I can gather its a bit like ebay so one big site with many sellers so thats prob why its hit and miss its just dependant on who you buy from and if they are decent! Ive had no issues personally

OnBuy is paid via PayPal anyway so any problems and youd get your money back. Definitely worth a punt at those prices!

We bought my great gran parents digital frames a couple of years ago and they absolutely love it. We add pictures quite frequently of their great great grandchildren and during the lockdown it really helped them being able to see pictures of them. They are quite easy to set up and then they just have to click on and off to work. Theirs can hold up to 250 pictures so plenty of room.

Have just pre-ordered the ps5 for DH. It's literally the only thing he actually wants but I feel a bit sick that it costs more than my entire Christmas budget for everyone and everything else! Definitely need to get more bargains elsewhere to balance it out a bit!

@XiCi, the names of the coffees are brilliant too! 🤣 I got DH's Aeropress from there last Christmas and we've had loads of coffees from there since. I actually popped to their old premises in my lunch break to collect my order once!

Wondering if anyone can help. Last year, Matalan did the most lovely green velvet present sacks. I've had a look this year, and the (not initialed) ones they have are not particularly lovely this year.

Any ideas where I can get lovely, not girly, strong present sacks from this year?

@vebrithien I got 2 great present sacks from Not on the High St - I think they were on a Group on Offer at the time. Like big Hessian ones but personalised with postage design and kids names on the front. I think they were maybe £10 each but have lasted well this will be 3rd year of using them x
