Thanks @moonbabyandthebeast for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@mogtheexcellent I got some Friday eve- there was none out but I asked and he went out back and got some, then restocked. He said they were getting regular orders so well worth checking 🙂

LostMyRubySlippers · 20/09/2020 19:10

Zavvi have 15% off site wide using their app & the code APPSALE
Seems to stack with other offers like the mystery T-shirt bundles but delivery is £1.99.

Re those mentioning about the birthday offer at the entertainer- I seem to recall that I stopped getting sent these for a while & then they randomly started again! No idea why though I think it’s maybe 3 weeks before the birthday date that you get the voucher & you can set it with up to 10 different dates

@pasinphoebe

I hope this is allowed I’m know it’s not technically a bargain .. I read somewhere about a Christmas game, mean Santa or bad Santa or something Basically you wrap 6 presents for 6 people, they can be anything eg a scratchcard, lump of coal, a comedy tie.. whatever. You can wrap them beautifully or in newspaper .. then the game is sort of everyone gets to choose a start present and you roll a dice and the presents move eg if you roll a one everyone has to pass the present they have left, if you roll a three you swap with someone older than you .. That’s the gist does anyone know ?! I mean I guess I could make it up I just wondered if anyone knows it!!
We play it with one side of fam. Wrap as many presents as you like, we do very cheap ones. Either get everyone to bring a wrapped present each, or the host buys them all. They can be absolute rubbish, the whole fun is tricking people into thinking they've got a nice present from the wrapping.

All presents in the middle of the table/room, start a timer (the only person who knows the length of the timer is the host) and send a pair of dice round the circle. Everyone can roll once per turn, then pass dice on to next person. If they roll a double, they can pick a present to take for their pile. They can take a present from the middle, or, if you've been playing for a little while, they can take a present from someone else. Carry on rolling and 'stealing' presents until the timer goes. When the timer goes, you stop play and whichever presents are in your pile you've won. Then everyone (hopefully) laughs as the big beautifully wrapped present that everyone was fighting over turns out to be a pick of toilet roll.

You can send more than 1 pair of dice round to get the action really going and if you've got lots of people. It's really fun when someone gleefully steals something to have it snatched back within seconds 😂.

Remember a couple of years ago we were all buying the guys razors. I saw a fb ad for a female version for only £6.95 to try it. I've treated myself to see how it goes. Ad says this:

Try FFS this weekend for just £6.95 and receive:

Rose gold metal handle
Personalised engraving
2 x six blade heads
Shave cream
Shower hook
Clamshell protector

Shop here https://bit.ly/3iouN6v

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 20/09/2020 19:30

Oh it's just come up with a £5 referral link, no idea if it'll work on the £6.95 offer tho

Birdladybird · 20/09/2020 19:43

@GirlWithTheYellowHat can i have the referral link to try please.

Spam88 · 20/09/2020 19:43

Need to catch up on the thread so sorry if already posted, but The Entertainer have Moonlite starter packs for £3.75. I thought I got a good bargain paying £8 from Bargain Max!

Moonlite starter pack

pasinphoebe · 20/09/2020 19:45

Thank you @purplediva and @Kolo that helps! Something different if we are allowed to see family this year .. fingers crossed.
Barbie ambulance still £30 in my Asda For anyone that might want one!

Shhhsleeping · 20/09/2020 19:45

Look fantastic have a sale tonight with the code secret

2anddone · 20/09/2020 19:46

Does anyone know if Argos run the 3 for 2 offer anymore please?

TheRealMrsJamieFraser · 20/09/2020 19:46

Have I missed an Emma Bridgewater deal/code? Had a quick look on the website and other than the 15%off new customers I don't see anything which is a shame now I've decided I need one 😂

Birdladybird · 20/09/2020 19:56

@GirlWithTheYellowHat didn't go any lower in price than £6.95 but added a natural deodorant and the discount took that to £0!

Adelais · 20/09/2020 20:00

I just messaged the entertainer about the birthday codes as I never got one for dds fake September birthday Grin. It looks like from the reply I got you should get one 3 weekend before and 1 week before. I logged into my account and I hadn’t ticked to receive emails off them so that might be why. If you haven’t received yours then maybe check you’ve got email notifications enabled.
@liquiddiamonds there's a great bike buying checklist on the Cycle Sprog site.
This is fab, thank you!!

Bluewavescrashing · 20/09/2020 20:25

I've finished Christmas shopping apart from DCs' Santa lists 🎅🛒🎉

I've wrapped half of them too!

UselessInDisguise · 20/09/2020 20:31

Thanks @Adelais I have checked all of that and no luck. I will give them a ring tomorrow I think.

Lemming20 · 20/09/2020 20:34

Thanks so much for the tip @GirlWithTheYellowHat! If anyone else wants to try the ffs super bargain described above, I added code ‘trial20’ and got the set down to £3.95! Absolute bargain and I’m thrilled Grin

MsMiaWallace · 20/09/2020 20:37

I've been using FFS for years. I originally subscribed with an offer.
They're great razors & blades, I don't use any others!

UselessInDisguise · 20/09/2020 20:42

I'm confused about the razor offer, do you have to subscribe, it's asking how often to send them?

Scanner20 · 20/09/2020 20:43

Thanks @ewock I've been waiting for this discount

Scanner20 · 20/09/2020 20:45

@UselessInDisguise usually 3 weeks before the birthday. I chased them on Facebook messenger last month and they wanted my email address then sent me a code back on messenger. Looks like I'm going to have to do the same again. Such a good offer though especially as you can add nieces etc too. The click and collect if it's not in store takes a bit longer, I've waited over a week before.

TheGriffle · 20/09/2020 20:48

My slime kit and air dry clay arrived earlier that previous posters mentioned from amazon and they are fab. Thank you! One gift for dd and one for one of her best friends. I’ve attached pictures but I don’t think they’re on offer anymore.

I would also like to mention a beautiful book that I have also attached, it’s a hidden object book and I used to read them at my Aunts when I was little and the Christmas one is just glorious and very nostalgic for me. I’ve had it in my amazon basket for a few months and £9.99 is the lowest it’s been so I snapped it up. (Type the full title into Amazon otherwise it doesn’t show up.)
