Thanks @moonbabyandthebeast for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

On the subject of train sets, Santa left this winter wonderland personalised train set for my two last year with a note engraved on it. It is the same price without personalisation on Amazon and I was really impressed with the quality and service. We are looking forward to getting it out every year and piecing together the note!

hiredandsqueak · 18/09/2020 19:23

Ooh thank you @EvilHerbivore the Brio is a real find and perfect for dgs who loves trains and tractors.

Annie1290 · 18/09/2020 19:35

Missed the damn ice cream cart again Angry

workingfortheclampdown · 18/09/2020 19:37

We have that brio farm set and it has excellent play value - I'd say 3-4 years is the optimal age range.

MsMiaWallace · 18/09/2020 19:38

Debenhams have free delivery on everything.
Some nice things reduced too.

PatchworkElmer · 18/09/2020 19:42

@EvilHerbivore amazing bargain! Thank you! Have ordered for DS (who doesn’t need any more gifts, but that’s beside the point...)

Mipe · 18/09/2020 19:49

Someone on a different thread mentioned these Bubble Tea kits as a good present for teenagers, you can build your own for just over £15 if you use code PANDABYO15 Smile

Yeknom · 18/09/2020 19:56

Urgh I'm so angry I've missed the ice cream cart again and the Brio!! Hope they come back!

Yeknom · 18/09/2020 19:58

Ahh I've found the Brio! Amazing! THANK YOU!

thelegohooverer · 18/09/2020 19:59

It’s probably been mentioned already but Smiggle have a sale on, some items have 50% off (until Sunday) and it’s worth checking out their 5 for £5 for stocking fillers. Apologies if I’m repeating someone’s post. Mentions of Smiggle goes over my head usually and I only looked at their site because dd is desperate for a spritz bottle.

Lemming20 · 18/09/2020 20:07

@EvilHerbivore thank you for the Brio bargain! Have purchased for my DS who is 2 Smile

VividImagination · 18/09/2020 20:07

I can’t find the brio. Can anyone link please?

livingthegoodlife · 18/09/2020 20:09

Great brio bargain! Just type brio farm railway into Amazon and it's the first entry.

Lego dots bracelets reduced from £5 to £2.50 in Morrisons.

BeaLola · 18/09/2020 20:09

For those who have seen the M& S biscuit tin shortbread do they all play the same tune ? Thank you

VividImagination · 18/09/2020 20:13

Ah! I’ve got it. Thanks 😊

JinglesWish · 18/09/2020 20:17

@BeaLola yes same tune on the 3 tins

Makedo · 18/09/2020 20:25

Thanks for the brio- tool me a minute to find it. It is here for anyone else who is stuck.

£19.99 is the best price on amazon but as usual the rrp is nonsense- it usually sells for about £30. Looks like it will make a great gift. I may order a second one!

Mumto3thatsme · 18/09/2020 20:32

@hiredandsqueak

Ooh thank you *@EvilHerbivore* the Brio is a real find and perfect for dgs who loves trains and tractors.
Read that as perfect for dogs who love trains and tractors 😂
Sideorderofchips · 18/09/2020 20:35

So I've run out of space in my normal hiding places and now having to hide things under my Co Conspirator teenagers bed...

zeerecords · 18/09/2020 20:41

@Lockdownhairdontcare thank you! Buying for a friends so wasn't sure what's best!

BeaLola · 18/09/2020 20:51

JinglesWish thank you - now I only need to buy one .... along with the elusive gin

riotlady · 18/09/2020 20:53

Got the Brio set for DD who will be nearly 3- every single year DP tells me not to go overboard and I promise I won't but then I see too many bargains and things she'll like. Plus buying for kids is so much more fun than buying for adults!

Maybe I'll save some things for her birthday.

Bluewavescrashing · 18/09/2020 21:01

I've started another thread but will ask here too... Which fitbit model is good for a 10 year old? DD wants to count steps, speed, heart rate, use a stopwatch, tell the time obvs. Thanks

superstar84 · 18/09/2020 21:04

Ds has the Fitbit ace 2 for kids and has been really pleased with it, hes 8

Doesn't have gps though which I think I'd want of he was a bit older!

Battery lasts about 5 days

allatonce99 · 18/09/2020 21:04

Those 'tales from acorn wood' books are lovely, they also sell them in Asda for £3 each. You can oder them online with your 'online shop' and I think you can do a collect for free but not certain.. My local store had a few in last week as I brought the foxes socks one! There was also a range of other lift the flap books for £3 too.

I also was in B&M again today and took a photo of the named stockings/sacks for PP.
