Thanks @ClaraLane for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@aimslou I would say for adults really. I have a 20 year old who is really in to make up but don’t think it would be her cup of tea- she’d either prefer one big posh thing or more cheaper bits.
My DD thought the Shein make up section was very good value the other day. Looked classy for the money. Great for making a little make up hamper.

@Clementine8 so glad you posted those Christmassy hand sanitisers from home bargains - I ransacked my store again after being there the other day - it was hidden in the beauty section rather than the Christmas section. Just what I was after.

Thank you for the scooter tips, micro sprite looks like a winner. Will keep my eyes peeled for a bargain!

Spam88 · 10/09/2020 19:42

Does anyone know anywhere that sells Lanka Kade with free postage? I normally use Little Footprint but their selection is really poor at the moment.

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 10/09/2020 19:46

thanks to whoever posted the bargain sloth colouring book, have just snapped one up for DD as they are her current obsession

trilbydoll · 10/09/2020 20:05

@Spam88 Babipur do free postage over £40, admittedly that's a lot of Lanka Kade but they've got plenty of other things Grin

HanPanPeg · 10/09/2020 20:06

These threads move fast!

There’s the Peppa Pig classroom set down to £10.50. It’s not as big as saving as it makes out as tends to be about £12/13 normally.

IggyAce · 10/09/2020 20:09

@aimslou who are you buying for? I’ve got a teen dd and nephew so happy to share ideas.

22Giraffes · 10/09/2020 20:27

Has anyone seen the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire board game anywhere? I'm sure I used to see it in Smyths etc all the time but when I Google I only see the new ps4/Xbox version Sad I'd prefer the full board game not the smaller card only version.

woodwaj · 10/09/2020 20:27

@iggyace where is that from 🤣

IggyAce · 10/09/2020 20:33

@woodwaj a local pottery place posted them for pre order but a quick search on amazon and you will find lots of sellers.

lancslass17 · 10/09/2020 20:35

@IggyAce i would be grateful for ideas for 15 year old boy, 12 year old girl, 9 year old boy and 7 year old girl.

aimslou · 10/09/2020 20:47

Sorry to repost, I posted at the end of the very end of the last thread. Did anyone buy the Playmobil pet hotel last year ( I remember it being popular on here) I'm torn between that or schleich tree house to go with the rest of our schleich.
My bargain to share is direct from playmobil uk, it's one of there bundle deal packages. Playmobil pet hotel and the perfect stay cat boarding for £59.99 limited time offer.

IggyAce · 10/09/2020 21:00

@lancslass17 my ds 9 has asked for Lego the ninjago land bounty and a shuttle set from the city space range.
Safety helmet for riding his scooter at the skate park.
Headbandz
Nerf bullets & gun.

My dd 14 has asked for the following:
Morphe pallet, at a younger age she loved the Revolution chocolate bar pallets.
Sheet beauty masks
Bath bombs
I’m doing her a hamper with mug, hot chocolate flakes and spoons and some of her favourite chocolate bars.

For a 7 year old the ones I know around that age love Lol dolls, mermaids, unicorns, craft sets and the Lego dots look good for that age too.
Not sure for 15 year old as my nephew has just turned 13.

dementedma · 10/09/2020 21:04

Our Co-op has Ophir Gin at a staggering £14.50! It’s normally £23!
The guy in the shop said “ oh, we haven’t had this one in before so its on offer”
Don’t know if that’s all Co-ops or just some but well worth snapping up.It’s lovely gin.

tinyradish · 10/09/2020 21:27

Asda have a good toy sale on currently!

PathOfLeastResitance · 10/09/2020 21:31

This Lego set is on at a great discount, £50 down to £25.

PinkDaydreams · 10/09/2020 21:32

I was in my local asda this morning and a colleague was stocking up empty shelves. She’s only put out scented play dough tubs, they were reduced down to £5. I was dying to look at the rest of the shelf edge labels to see what was going out but I was getting funny looks from the asda lady!!

Anyway, managed to pick up pyjamas for next summer for £2. They did a double pack for £6 which had long leg and shorts in.

If you're buying from the Playmobil website, make sure you sign up for an account/the newsletter, they give a one-time 15% discount code.

Verbrithein thank you for the tip about signing up! I'm still dithering between the pet hotel or the schleich tree house. I like them both. Decisions decisions...
