Thank you @nickdrakeslovechild for thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

Thanks for the Dino egg, managed to get one earlier.

Spotted this book & jigsaw set on the periodic table and thought I'd share for other science loving children. It's at Amazon. Not a huge saving but was £9.99 and down to £6.99

Not sure if this has been posted before (only joined in near the end of Thread 2), but the Lego Friends Friendship Box is £25 on Pound Toys, then the code NEWHOME40 takes £10 off, making it £15.

Delivery is £3.49, or free if you spend over £25, so if you're looking for stocking filler bits too, you'd probably qualify for the free delivery. Even with delivery, it's still cheaper than Amazon Prime at the moment.

Rockhopper81 · 27/08/2020 18:33

Deliver is £3.95 on Pound Toys - sorry!

FireflyGirl · 27/08/2020 18:43

Studio have started getting their Christmas stock in. It says more being added next month, but they've got very pretty Harry Potter stockings for £9.99. They do free delivery with your first order, otherwise it's £4.99 (which always puts me off!).

Mumto3thatsme · 27/08/2020 18:47

[quote tabbycat985]24 Disney book advent calendar for £12.
No idea what the story quality will be like but nice that it's something different from toys/chocolate!

Thankyou! Finally an advent calendar suitable for ds!

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/08/2020 18:51

Re hype lucky bag. I wasn't struck last year. Lots of sponge Bob and toy story that my then DS 9 did not like. Also. Lots of yellow. I ended up selling or charity most.

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/08/2020 18:53

Got 2 back pack. Pencil case joggers hoodie rain coat 4 t-shirts I think

nc600 · 27/08/2020 19:10

Thanks @ClaraLane

Ordered my free pair for OH stocking

IggyAce · 27/08/2020 19:12

Was shopping in my local B&M earlier and they are starting to put their Christmas stock out. I spotted these and thought they are cute & a good price.

DaisyChops · 27/08/2020 19:32

@IggyAce those cups are amazing I'll have to go to B&M. I went to a smaller b&m last week and got some transformers for £4 which is a good price but never saw those.

Methenyouplus4 · 27/08/2020 19:33

A bit random but my mum has asked for large lasagne style dishes but metal or glass rather than pottery/ceramic. Any ideas?

Dreamingofwalden · 27/08/2020 19:36

Did anyone else make any purchases from Tia Rose Treasures? I bought a T-shirt for my son but this week had a refund without an email etc. I can’t find reviews on Trust Pilot though their FB page looks active. I think I’ll stick to my trusted indies for Scandi.

Lockdownhairdontcare · 27/08/2020 19:55

@Methenyouplus4 Sainsbury’s have good melamine ones for under £10. Falcon ones are good too but normally £15-20.

IggyAce · 27/08/2020 19:57

@Methenyouplus4
Found these on amazon
glass

metal
Might be a bit plain for a present but could use the tray as a base for a hamper and add some lasagna essentials and perhaps a serving slice.

Makedo · 27/08/2020 19:59

@Methenyouplus4 ikea do great glass lasagne dishes. Nice and deep and you can even buy a reusable lid for freezing etc.

wornoutboots · 27/08/2020 20:00

Not sure how to link from the amazon app but these pyjamas, age 6-12 months only, have been reduced to £6.14 for a pack of three.

You can buy them in different sizes

FrolickingLemon · 27/08/2020 20:30

Got the fab Clinque deal thanks. 3 mini lipsticks. One each for me, Mum and DD.

Haven't yet clicked on the clit sucker link nor decided who it would be good for. curiosity will get the better of me, no doubt

MrsCrimbo74 · 27/08/2020 20:31

Have just checked the website on trustpilot and it seems legit.
Barbie Dreamhouse £184 free delivery, couple of bad reviews but mainly good

BicycleMadeForTwo · 27/08/2020 20:34

I want to get my nephews/nieces some water bottles for Christmas. They’re 12-17 years old so what brand would be ‘cool’ to buy them? Chillys, Super Sparrow, Hype? Anyone in the know about what’s cool these days?!

Spam88 · 27/08/2020 20:37

@Methenyouplus4 I've got a lovely big Pyrex dish that I use for lasagne that I bought in Home Bargains.

Dreamingofwalden · 27/08/2020 20:40

@MrsCrimbo74 that’s good. Maybe they were overwhelmed and oversold by accident.
