Thank you @nickdrakeslovechild for thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets

Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Thanks @PinkDaydreams I'll look at that one for them. I thought it'd be appreciated more if she doesn't always need my help - just supervision iyswim :)

PinkDaydreams · 01/09/2020 11:16

@lucysmam really easy to use, there’s a line to fill it up to, put the lid on, then either press the button once for hot froth, twice for hot milk or three times for cold frothy milk. With supervision she will be fine :)

lucysmam · 01/09/2020 11:18

Excellent! Thank you very much!

Any nice hot chocolate recommendations to go with it?

I should be able to grab marshmallows and sprinkley bits in Home Bargains nearer the time I imagine.

Lurleene · 01/09/2020 11:23

Yesterday I bought a HUGE Dairy Milk bar (360g) from Tesco Express for 96p. There were loads of them and that was the shelf price, not a clearance deal. I did think about getting a load in for Christmas but realistically in my house they would all be eaten by then. Perhaps this would be useful for someone with more willpower than me 🙂.

Oooh Matalan have the beginnings of a Christmas shop [I think]. Not much in stock. I can be a bit thick sometimes so hoping it's not last years that's still up there!

Thanks @Emma1962 for green and Black’s chocolate tip. I need to call in later today for a click and collect so I’ll take a look.

Somebody mentioned on another thread about a small drinks fridge as a present idea for teens. I wondered if anyone had any recommendations for brands or where to get them and if they’re any good (not too noisy in bedroom??)
