Thank you @nickdrakeslovechild for thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Can anyone recommend a pogo stick for 8 year old. He's big for his age

Purpletigers · 31/08/2020 13:59

For those of you who ordered the original weighted blanket mentioned on here . Did yours come with a washable cover ? I ordered one for my sons bf as he loves ours and there isn’t a cover in the bag, just the blanket and a weighted eye mask . Thanks

ClaraLane · 31/08/2020 14:12

@BighouseLittlemouse

Just to say thanks for the post re the weighted blanket with teddy fleece. My DS has anxiety and adhd and I’ve ummed and ahhed about a weighted blanket for him ( more for sitting under than sleeping). Those are affordable enough to give it a try!
Have you heard of body socks? They’re supposed to be amazing for sensory seekers: www.sensorydirect.com/body-sock-new.html
greyinganddecaying · 31/08/2020 14:25

Not sure if it's already been posted but Aldi have minecraft sticker books at around half the RRP, they also have minecraft/Harry potter water bottles and lunch boxes

laylalalalao · 31/08/2020 14:29

Weighted blanket;
There was the option on my amazon to use a £30 voucher on this meaning it only cost £22! Very good reviews.
Hope the voucher option is there for you guys too!

projectbeeofficial.com/ is closing down and has up to 80% off many things (especially jewellery). I ordered some earrings for dd for Christmas and they arrived after about 2 weeks.

PissingKitten · 31/08/2020 15:08

I have the weighted blanket that Laylalalalao linked to above and can vouch that it is a good quality, lovely blanket.

wibdib · 31/08/2020 15:08

@TheGriffle I’ve got a couple of ride on tractors that the dc have grown out of that are now taking space in the garage - I’m planning on selling them in the run up to Christmas, using local selling pages.

If you don’t mind things being second hand and keep an eye out you might find some great bargains as the more expensive ones age well if they’ve been looked after and would be easy to clean up with a hosepipe and old brush to look really nice, especially if you add a couple of new bits they might like (bell, etc) and get a good decal from eBay with their name or the name of the tractor or a logo etc to personalise it to them...

Works out that you get a nicer better quality toy tractor for less than the price of a cheap new ride on.,,

NerosFiddle · 31/08/2020 15:08

@UselessInDisguise that's too bad. Wouldn't work out at much of a deal if you were paying £15 for postage.

icedaisy · 31/08/2020 15:11

@TheGriffle I agree with @wibdib re tractor. I picked up a tractor and trailer and loader from Facebook and its away for Christmas. Washed it and put in shed. Perfect condition.

UselessInDisguise · 31/08/2020 15:19

Yes I think hermes is best at £6 but even so I think I may have to edge my bets it's comes back on go amazon

xoxogossipgirl2020 · 31/08/2020 15:29

@UselessInDisguise I am painfully gutted about missing the pirate ship too 😞

999caffeineplease · 31/08/2020 15:31

@torthecatlady thanks for mentioning the Vitamasques discount, that's tricky to buy for DSis and SIL sorted under budget Grin

bookish83 · 31/08/2020 15:44

@FindYourPorpoise

Of course! They have given Blue Light Card discounts over the past few months. So I got 25% off with it. I was really impressed with the coat though, would have happily paid full price!

I kept a different coat, it was a shorter style x

Someaddedsugar · 31/08/2020 15:46

Thank you @laylalalalao I've just purchased the blanket for DMIL as the one I had my eye on this morning was out of stock when I went to purchase!

STARE2016 · 31/08/2020 15:52

I've looked back through and I can't find it. Someone posted a lip balm from amazon, fairly pricey and then another poster said it was the best.... anyone remember which it was?

Also after REALLY warm socks. Like super warm for a relative with raynauds. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

CandyCaneLane0 · 31/08/2020 15:57

Check your eBay app, I had a £10 voucher pop upSmile

Vebrithien · 31/08/2020 15:59

Stare Nux lip balm in a pot

IggyAce · 31/08/2020 16:13

@STARE2016 it’s Nuxe, I recommended it it is the best I’ve ever used.

Lockdownhairdontcare · 31/08/2020 16:27

EOS lip balms are £1.99 in home bargains, £4-6.50 elsewhere. Handy stocking fillers.

XiCi · 31/08/2020 16:31

It's the Nuxe one STARE2016. Its really lovely

TheGriffle · 31/08/2020 16:36

Thank you, I will be keeping my eye out on Facebook, there’s nothing in my area at the minute, I have no issue with second hand!

STARE2016 · 31/08/2020 16:39

@Vebrithien @IggyAce @XiCi thank you so much! Off to search it out now. It's actually for me after I remembered the recommendation on here! Really appreciate it!

noodledoodler · 31/08/2020 17:13

If anyone is going for the vitamasque offer, I got a £5 referral code so its on the referral thread, not sure if it stacks but may be worth a goSmile

EasterBuns · 31/08/2020 17:15

I’ve just been sent TAKE50! for 50% of yumi, not shopped there but look like they have some nice girls dresses.
