Thank you @nickdrakeslovechild for thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@UselessInDisguise, which Argos is it? Maybe one of us can get it and post it?

UselessInDisguise · 31/08/2020 07:59

@NoWordForFluffy thank you, that's kind, it's now 300 miles somewhere called Berwick on tweed.

LatteLover12 · 31/08/2020 08:02

Probably as far north as you can go before you're in Scotland @UselessInDisguise 😁

I'm in the north east but Berwick is still another hour away from me.

There might be another northerner on here though?

UselessInDisguise · 31/08/2020 08:04

That's OK, it is abit of a long shot. I will keep googling for codes. I used my Very code on something else. And it might come back up in a amazon right 🙏 I blame my husband for dithering as it went out of stock before my eyes...🙄

NoWordForFluffy · 31/08/2020 08:07

Ah, that is north, isn't it?! Moral of the story: don't wait for your DH's input!

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 31/08/2020 08:08

Always better to ask for forgiveness than permission disguise Grin

UselessInDisguise · 31/08/2020 08:14

Oh I know! I don't know why I asked as everything else I have brought myself with no input from him... Lesson learned! To be honest perhaps I felt guilty because of that reason 🤣 let's hope he doesn't work out how much I've brought so far!

villamariavintrapp · 31/08/2020 08:15

Aldi have some of the skip hop backpacks for £9.99 (normally around 15-20) they have the bee, bat, llama and dragon. They're very sweet for littlies.

purplepandas · 31/08/2020 08:37

Thanks @sorryiasked for the robotic arm, got one for my nephew.

Chocolatecake12 · 31/08/2020 08:38

I’ve had an email saying my Lisa angel order is on its way - only I can’t remember what I’ve ordered!! It will be a surprise when it arrives Smile

Tiggles · 31/08/2020 08:38

My DS have school bags with laptop pockets from sports direct. Think they were about £25 possibly hot tuna. But they have lasted a couple of years of heavy use.

Tiggles · 31/08/2020 08:40

For skateboard deals there is currently a sale at www.skatehut.co.uk and my skateboarding mad son buys stuff from them so ok quality.

AdamantEve · 31/08/2020 08:42

Skatehut a good choice (got one for teenage son last year). Actually good for skater type clothes too (Thrasher, Vanns etc) with good sale.

stressbucket1 · 31/08/2020 09:18

@Mamagotskills I got a sprocket last year. The price dropped to about £65 or £70. Get a camel camel camel alert set up for it. That's your best bet.

FireflyGirl · 31/08/2020 09:28

Amazon have good deals on the Playmobil police station sets.

Police station with prison, this is the older set apparently, rrp £79.99 down to £40.49, lowest price according to CCC was £39.99 in December 2017, so only 50p less, averages around £60.

Take along police station with bikes and helicopter, rrp £69.99 down to £38.39, lowest price according to CCC, averages around £50.

Someaddedsugar · 31/08/2020 09:28

Just had an email to say the Dust & Things sale ends at midnight tonight if anyone was looking to grab a bargain from there.

Bluewavescrashing · 31/08/2020 09:31

@lotusbell you can go for a lighter blanket but the gravity effect just won't be as much. Mine came with a washable, removable cover.

Someaddedsugar · 31/08/2020 09:39

This might be a very silly question but looking at the weighted blanket for DMIL as she struggles to sleep for more than 3 hours at a time. Do you use it instead of a duvet or as well as?

Bluewavescrashing · 31/08/2020 09:40

At the moment I use it instead of a duvet but when it's colder at night I'll add a cosy blanket or a duvet on top.

BicycleMadeForTwo · 31/08/2020 09:42

TopCashBack are doing their £2 bonus today for any orders £10+

Someaddedsugar · 31/08/2020 09:56

Thanks @Bluewavescrashing - I'll order one for her today

Vebrithien · 31/08/2020 09:56

@ClaraLane

Dr Botanicals still don’t have MY rhubarb soap back in stock. I’m not talking to them anymore 😭
ClaraLane, if this is the one (rose and rhubarb) then you are welcome to it for the cost of P&P.

I purchased it last year, in the big sale, and have just found it in the bottom of my extensive soap stash. It still smells lovely.

Am offline until much later, but feel free to message me.
