Thank you @nickdrakeslovechild for thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@hiredandsqueak thanks for the puppet link. It was out of stock by the time I got to it last time.

Bluewavescrashing · 29/08/2020 18:39

Zavvi are also selling a mystery bundle of 3 t-shirts for £12.99. Not such good value as the bigger bundle, but still a good deal if you don't want as many t-shirts!

WisestIsShe · 29/08/2020 18:51

@Bluewavescrashing I've taken a chance on them and will report back. The reviews are good.

superstar84 · 29/08/2020 18:54

Thanks for the puppet link, ordered for my nephews birthday 🎂

BicycleMadeForTwo · 29/08/2020 18:57

The 10 pack of mystery T-shirt’s from Zavvi also includes 2 free Funko Pop figures so I’m pretty tempted but trying to resist!

Cinderellashoes · 29/08/2020 18:58

Home Bargains had vtech toot toot advent calendars today for £8.99!

WisestIsShe · 29/08/2020 18:59

12% Top cash back for a new customer at zavvi as well.

CatelynStark · 29/08/2020 19:09

For anyone who missed out on the Dino race track for a tenner, I’ve just ordered this.

BellsaRinging · 29/08/2020 19:13

I've ordered the Zavvi shirt bundle and will report back. The funko pops options were rubbish but will be happy if 4 of the tshirts are good for ds, who is a bit of a geek, so he says.

sorryiasked · 29/08/2020 19:16

This looks like a good deal for barbie fans some of the sweet orchard farm dolls are reduced too.

Hi everyone can I join? I love Christmas and I’m currently on maternity Leave so want to get everything in nice and early and cheap! Then enjoy the whole of December with my baby! I have a 20% off Boden code if it’s useful to anyone FDW358JPZ

And 15% off at Jojo Maman Bebe for orders over 45 pound plus free delivery with code NEW01 expires on 6th September.

My local Sainsbury’s also had loads of nice little stocking fillers. Play dough sets for 4/5 pound and bubble machines in sale for 3 pound! I also managed to get a bargain wooden train set for 9 pound!

covidmonkey · 29/08/2020 19:26

Check your emails. I got £5 off no minimum spend from Argos.

JuiceyBetty · 29/08/2020 19:37

Thanks for the FreePrints offer, £3 including delivery is great for grandparents gifts.

LatteLover12 · 29/08/2020 19:39

My dino track just arrived, looks fab & so good for a tenner. Another present sorted. Go me!

Scanner20 · 29/08/2020 19:42

@lolly that's good to hear, little earlier than previous years if it's a sale. On a website they said symths 22nd September for their £10 off £50 rumoured start date! Fingers crossed we'll get some bargains.

PatchworkElmer · 29/08/2020 19:48

Thanks so much for the puppet link! I’ve ordered for my best friend’s daughter.

Umberto Giannini website has 50% off for the bank holiday- www.umbertogiannini.com/

Most of their stuff is vegan. I use a lot of the scrunching gel on my (curly) hair, so have stocked up.

InDreamland · 29/08/2020 19:52

@BighouseLittlemouse glad you managed to get yourself something. I also got winter boots, 3 pairs delivered this morning. Returning 1 pair, pleased with the other 2. I need them anyway so a good saving - one pair was £160 reduced to £64. Chuffed.

Dreamingofwalden · 29/08/2020 19:54

@hiredandsqueak thank you so much for the link! I missed out last time. I’m making my niece and nephew a puppet theatre and was looking for puppets to go with it.

I did pick up a lovely Matilda hand puppet in TK Maxx recently. I think it was £6.99.

hiredandsqueak · 29/08/2020 19:59

Glad more got the puppets, they are really nice quality and worth far more than £4.99.

InDreamland · 29/08/2020 20:00

@IggyAce their stuff are lovely aren't they. Glad you're pleased with the cheese board. After I posted I ordered more stuff as my dad loved his birthday gift from there. Waiting now for delivery. I got the free personalised keyring for hubby from DD, with daddy engraved it and it's so nice.

I've just put away all the latest deliveries from Lisa angel and Whittard. Done a check of my list and I'm pretty close to being finished with my presents shopping. So pleased. Thanks to you all and this thread with all the bargains - without you I'd never have known about Lisa Angel and Rex London sales. Come in so useful since I'm on maternity leave and just had my first very reduced pay yesterday............ shouldn't complain really.

FireflyGirl · 29/08/2020 20:06

Another good site for anyone buying for 'geeky' or 'alternative' recipients is EMP. I'm sure I've mentioned them in previous years - no affiliation, just a very happy customer.

They've currently got an extra 20% off sale prices with code SALE20, and are offering free delivery.

They do clothes (not just tshirts - their dresses are lovely), accessories and Funko Pops, and have merchandise from really popular brands such as Star Wars/Disney/Harry Potter, to much more niche (Supernatural/Rick and Morty/Hell bunny and similar).

I order from them frequently (5% TCB, works with the sale code), delivery can be a bit slow compared to other sites (about a week), but I've always found the clothes to be good quality.

SecretDancer · 29/08/2020 20:06

Thanks for the puppets post, mine say delivery in a month which is fine as I'll stash til xmas.

I bought the 10 geek t-shirts for DH last year through IWOOT (think they're same company as Zavvi)
They were only £20 then and I got 10% off. They were a bit screwed up when I opened them and some similar items like 3 transformer t-shirts but for the money I really couldn't complain. DH mainly uses them around the house but there were a couple of gems he really liked

Scanner20 · 29/08/2020 20:11

Great puppets! Thanks for the link, got those and also thanks for the Argos email prompt, went to my old email address. This thread has been so good, I wish I found it years ago :)
