If people are interested in the GLTC, I’d recommend watching for a code. They do come up fairly regularly. They often have 15-30% off on certain products but there are seasonal site wide discounts too.

For anyone looking for Sylvanian Families - Facebook Marketplace has quite a few sets for sale that are as new, and the Argos Clearance Store (there's definitely one of these in Stanley, Co. Durham) has a selection with quite heavy discounts.

@BigEaredBob are you looking for quad skates or roller blades? I would recommend Decathlon roller blades (possibly quads too but don't have personal experience of those) - we've had lots of pairs starting with the kids ones with a plastic outer shell and also the slightly upgraded ones (but still size adjustable), also basic range for adults. All have been really great - good value, durable and smooth. Several pairs have been passed on to friends smaller kids.

Does anyone have any experience of Oodies? The wearable blanket things? My daughter would love one, but they seem to be expensive for what they are. Anyone seen a good quality one cheaper? Needs to still be thick and warm though! Thank you!

I bought 18 year old DD an oodie. She is anaemic and always cold. She starts university (from home) in September so I thought it would be good for her. She loves it so much. I signed up on their site for a code to be emailed but didn’t use it. I kept getting codes emailed and eventually after ignoring them for a few weeks they sent 25 pounds off.
I was very happy with that. It is lovely quality (I got the koala one) and is packaged nicely too.
