Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

Last year we bought the Aldi milk frother via recommendation on MN - it comes in around £20 to £25 from memory - it has been in daily use ever since and I've been very impressed with it.

I have seen them recently in store (as recently as July). It does hot and cold so the kids use it for milk shakes. The hot isn't super-hot, but then as I understand it none of the frothers heat the milk that much anyway.

BicycleMadeForTwo · 21/08/2020 12:00

Thanks @tabbycat985 Just bought those candles. I got a different set of them last year and they’re fab.

user32723 · 21/08/2020 12:11

@WickedEmoji last Christmas Iceland sold that jar of Jelly Beans for £10, which was cheaper than anywhere else.

bagginses · 21/08/2020 12:13
@bagginses - Nice of you to share! I don't need anything from Lakeland at the moment, but usually buy from their Christmas gift range when it launches, so just wondered how you got the codes, please? I.e. is there some mailing list that I should be signing up to now?
These just came in a magazine (Good Housekeeping) on a flyer. I am sure there will be more/ better ones nearer the time!

Raindancer411 · 21/08/2020 12:13

Not sure if anyone who doesn't have TopCashback is interested in this code. If you sign up using my link it says friends will get a bonus £5 for signing up. Over the past 5 years I have had £700 back so it's well worth it x

@Mrsfussypants1

Yes, I ordered the non vegan version (box has palm leaves on). It worked when I put it through, can't remember if it was saturday/Sunday, but I just paid £2 click and collect. I read somewhere on this thread the code had changed slightly.
Oh thanks, I shall have to back tread then thread and see if I can find it. I would love the vegan ones for my dairy allergic son's xmas eve box
user32723 · 21/08/2020 12:17

I don't know if it's been mentioned in earlier threads, but the Entertainer has a huge range of Fingerlings reduced from £15 to £5 each, baby dragons, elephants, fox's, they are actually adorable. In-store and online. Also offers on Little Life Pets.

Duchessofealing · 21/08/2020 12:24

@Raindancer411 if it’s the John Lewis code it is now MYHOME1 although it won’t work if it isn’t showing as one of your “my rewards” on your account I don’t think.

EvilHerbivore · 21/08/2020 12:25

https://www.geekstore.com/collections/homeware/products/official-star-wars-new-hope-candle-set

This Star Wars candle set is a great price at £5 with free shipping.
This website in general is pretty good for the geeky/teens in your life but you do have to poke about for bargains as they don't have a sale section

Brilliant, thanks! My tween son loves both Star Wars and scented candles so this is spot on. I've also noticed that you can get the for free lids free when you order the candles

Also, this Star Wars Gift Set is also quite good value at £19.99 reduced to £6.99

Fuckingfuckssake · 21/08/2020 12:53

Hi, I've got a Boden £10 voucher I won't use if anyone could use it? Happy to send via PM.

Cherryrainbow · 21/08/2020 13:00

Theres no 7 mascara in the £5 Friday offer and its 3 for 2 on no 7 as well. For a tenner sorted some more stocking fillers x

Mrsfussypants1 · 21/08/2020 13:04

I hope the JL code has worked on the cocoba for those trying.

Sunflower101 · 21/08/2020 13:05

Turtle doves have a sale on their website, about £5 reduction on the fingerless gloves that are liked on here. Fuckingfuckssake, May I have the Boden code please?

BippityBobbityBoo · 21/08/2020 13:07

Can someone please explain the JL offer, do you need to be a store card holder or something? I don’t think I’ve ever bought from there before. TIA

Focusanddetermination · 21/08/2020 13:15

To answer a few questions the milk frother makes one cup size, you pour the milk in the top, put the lid on and press a button. Wait 2 minutes for frothy milk or choc. It uses a magnet to spin it round.

JennyDreadful · 21/08/2020 13:29
@ScorpioSphinxInACalicoDress I order it today and will get it tomorrow so I will let you know what is in mine!

I plan to split it into a few gifts
Thanks for offering to share what comes in your Neom box, I'm really interested to know!

IggyAce · 21/08/2020 13:57

Typo currently have 30% off site wide, good for stationary, mugs and stocking fillers.

torthecatlady · 21/08/2020 14:01

I really want the Lavazza now... must sort out other people first though!

I've just posted on both of the referral links (didn't know which one was the current one) for Vitamasques. They do Korean beauty stuff like face masks / eye masks. They're not too expensive either. Might be useful for those of you with beauty mad teens.

Lockdownhairdontcare · 21/08/2020 14:29

@Fuckingfuckssake could I possibly have it please? DD has her eye on some new boots!

Whymustyoubringinthebirds · 21/08/2020 14:34

@ScorpioSphinxInACalicoDress

In my neom box I got
250ml scent to make you happy hand and body wash
250ml scent to make you happy body and hand lotion
100ml scent to boost your energy body oil

10ml scent to sleep bath oil

This was all in the neom mystery box
£75 worth £140 but you can get 15% as a new customer with fbuy.me/v/katie_7878

I'm going to split mine into gifts

Christmascaker · 21/08/2020 14:37

I think someone was looking for a Nintendo switch, they’re £279 (£20 off) on amazon at the moment

1stTimeMama · 21/08/2020 14:41

I picked up some How To Train Your Dragon toys from B&M yesterday. You get a dragon and it's rider and there were 5 to choose from, for £5 each. I checked online whilst there and I think the RRP is about £14.99 each!

PowerslidePanda · 21/08/2020 14:49

Thanks @NoWordForFluffy and @bagginses! Just need to wait for Lakeland to get their Christmas stuff in now. I used to think it was ridiculous that some shops did it as early as September - these days I think it's not early enough! Grin
