@Asj0405

Aww no missed the morphe brushes! I do need to make an order from River Island though so if you have a Unidays or student beans code that I could use *@NightOwl19* that would be very much appreciated
River island have 10% off if that's any use?
Asj0405 · 23/07/2020 19:59

Yes that would be great thanks @N

HawkinsLab · 23/07/2020 20:00

If you know anyone with UNiDAYS, there’s 30% off at Adidas (and I think 25% off sale)

Asj0405 · 23/07/2020 20:00

Yes that would be great thanks @NightOwl19

Spam88 · 23/07/2020 20:03

@icedaisy Santa's bag is the only one I've used, but does everything I need it to.

NightOwl19 · 23/07/2020 20:04

@Asj0405

Thanks for the Rex London sale tip, just bought loads for Christmas! I have bought from them in past years and love their stuff

Vebrithien · 23/07/2020 20:33

The Aldi baby event was advertised on a Mumsnet banner, then had a look at their website.

Baby E is doing well reckless gran, thank you. It's his official due date today, and he had his 6 week doctors appointment! 7lb 1oz now, so over a kilo heavier than when he came home, 4 weeks ago. Waiting on his first real smile, but that could still be another 6 weeks.

SecretDancer · 23/07/2020 20:34

@recklessgran my DD turned 3 at a similar time last year and she's enjoyed Sylvanian Families. If she hasn't already got any sets I'd hang on for a bargain as you get some good deals on Amazon and random huge discounts like the 3 story house on Argos. You're less likely to get a bargain if you're after a particular set but I bought the cottage, family car and a couple of family sets at good prices last year
I would advise looking for things that don't have many tiny adorable accessories at that age too, I've had to hide away a few until DD is able to play properly with them old enough

SodOffCovid · 23/07/2020 20:51

@icedaisy I'm using the gift list app as I am on android. Its useful so far although I can't believe how much I've spent already Shock

SodOffCovid · 23/07/2020 20:54

Does anyone have any recommendations for a toy set suitable for a fresh turned three year old boy this Christmas? I had in mind the playmobile fire engine which I mentioned up thread wasn't fulfilled by amazon today but now I'm having a wobble looking at the comments re sylvanian families tiny accessories that I'm just going to end up conviscating everything but the figures and the engine! I have a baby atm so I need to be mindful what bits are left out. He's a 'typical' boy into fire engines, police cars, vehicles etc. He's into things like paw patrol but I'm hoping to get him into something more generic that lasts a few years and we can add to maybe

SodOffCovid · 23/07/2020 20:56

I recieved my accessorize order today but sadly some of the bits I brought also were out of stock when packing... What rotton luck today Sad

MissRainbowBrite · 23/07/2020 20:57

If anyone is after additions for their bargain Schleich set one of the best websites is www.toysandlearning.co.uk
They charge postage but if you want a few pieces it's well worth it.

BadgerFace · 23/07/2020 21:12

@SodOffCovid The paw patrol ultimate fire engine is amazing if you can find one. DD2 picked it for her 4th birthday in Jan and plays with it daily still. Sometimes with her PP figures but often with other small world toys she has. DD1 (7) secretly likes it too. As do I... Loads of cool features on it...

woodwaj · 23/07/2020 21:20

Theres an extra 20% off the sale at fossil. Plenty of jewellery under £20

SodOffCovid · 23/07/2020 21:21

Thanks @badgerface I will take a look. Three seems such an awkward age as he still puts stupid things in his mouth!

TakeMeToYourLiar · 23/07/2020 21:46

@SodOffCovid what about a wooden train set? Got one for DS who was same age last year and it's played with every day

SodOffCovid · 23/07/2020 22:08

Not sure if it helps, but studio have a massive 80% off sale

SodOffCovid · 23/07/2020 22:08

Great idea @TakeMeToYourLiar

MarshmallowManiac · 23/07/2020 22:16

SodOff my DS used to love Thomas, and anything connected with it. The trains tend to last a long time, and Bob the Builder, fire engines and police cars were very popular in our house also.

lotusbell · 23/07/2020 22:41

Just to build on what @HawkinsLab has said, both Adidas and Nike always seem.to have a sale on or there are regular money off codes. Sign up and you usually get free delivery every time you order. I've bought a few things from Adidas recently and they send me emails asking me to review one of the items for a 20 or 25% discount on my next order. Worth checking out if you have kids who love sportswear.

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 23/07/2020 22:42

Up to 70% off sale at Typo - some cheap notebooks, mini water bottles, and mugs that would make good stocking stuffers or gifts for secret Santa's on a budget!

MarshmallowManiac · 23/07/2020 23:14

Typo has a great sale on lovely stocking fillers
