Many thanks to @ADayAlwaysHasToEnd fir the Lol tip, my DDs will be delighted!

SecretDancer · 22/07/2020 20:41

Wow, these threads are getting busy already!

I normally join around this time each year (6 weeks til DDs birthday) under different names but I'm so happy to see it's still going, they've saved me so much over the years.

I'm trying hard not to buy useless things just because they're cheap this year (wish me luck!) But I'd welcome any suggestions for a nearly 4 year old for birthdays and Christmas, she has too many toys so I'd rather go quality than quantity, preferably bargainous of course Grin

Boots better than half price sale. Real techniques Glitz and Glam gift set was £60 now £22, you get quite a bit in it. And my fav the Harry potter trunk was £50 now £18 and selling fast (bath bombs, masks, bath essence, make up bag and more)

Thanks! I just got the HP one for dd. Such a bargain.

That Cellarbythequay seems to be a Chinese site. Tell tale signs include the American spellings and no contact number plus poor English.

Moltenpink · 22/07/2020 21:58

Hi everyone. Just popping on to recommend the site justmylook.com, it has free delivery on everything, a decent outlet section and make up bits start from a £1. I’ve used it quite a few times now.

KatnissMellark · 22/07/2020 23:04

Joining, because I'm on mat leave and have o plenty of middle of the night feeding time to shop. Thanks for the links so far and hopefully I'll find some to share myself.

My first offering this year - Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: Illustrated Edition and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire down to £16.00 on Amazon. Not a massive savings as it usually hovers a bit over £20, but still a great price for an amazing gift!

Good recommendation!

Bluewavescrashing · 23/07/2020 08:53

Wow. 3rd Rex London order done. Not only have I ticked off various birthdays but also party supplies and decorations, 4 birthday cards and various other bits. Totally bargainous.

SodOffCovid · 23/07/2020 08:53

Thanks @Serenity25 but I think we're after the one with the ladder 9463....complicated stuff 😂

mosscarpet · 23/07/2020 08:54

not strictly Christmas, but M&S have 25% off school unifrom today- not sure how long for. I figure if I can spend less on uniform, that leaves more to spend on Christmas right?!

OhioOhioOhio · 23/07/2020 10:02

Is Rex London decent quality? Or, what kind of quality?

Bert2020 · 23/07/2020 10:04

Super impressed with Rex London! Lovely pieces for the stockings, party gifts and also some home bits picked up too.

balalalala · 23/07/2020 10:22

I've always been really pleased with rex London quality.

Lemming20 · 23/07/2020 10:32

Hello! Can I join please?

recklessgran · 23/07/2020 10:53

Yep I agree. Rex London is brilliant and good quality too.

OhioOhioOhio · 23/07/2020 11:07

Thank you

recklessgran · 23/07/2020 11:14

Any Sylvanian experts out there? The Sylvanian official shop seems to have a few offers - anyone know if they're bargainous or not? I'm looking at the supermarket as I think it might be good as a Christmas present for DGD who is 3 in October. It's supposedly got £20 off - would that be a good buy do you think? Any advice welcome as I have no clue really although the adult DD's did have some of the range back in the day. It's all different now - we definitely had a canalboat amongst other bits but I can't see that now.

BunnyBerries · 23/07/2020 11:20

Hello everyone! Belle and Boo have up to 45% off gift bundles on their site but I what I thought was most bargainous (if you have the time to start and thread) are their cross-stitch patterns, as there are quite a few snowy Christmassy ones which would be lovey gifts to make, they are only £5 to download once, but you could make multiple times.
