I ordered something from Argos and it was chipped plus I had four screws left over. That might have been my fault though

Fluffy l totally agree but for the fact that Bob is very slight Bless him and Ma is not, so l am hoping it will be ok wth their combined weights . I have no intention of sitting on it neither does Dh
Also some reviews say it's sturdy and others say it isn't, so l am wondering hoping they found screws left over too like Wreck

I went to Motor Depot today, and tried out the Hyundai i30 estate. I quite liked that one as well, so looks like we'll get me an estate, and you get more for your money with an Astra, so I think we're going to see if a good deal comes up on one of those like I originally wanted although I probably wouldn't have gone for an estate.

I make lists in my bullet journal, so they're all in one place. I've been rather remiss in the actual journalling part since lockdown, but I know what Christmas activities I'm going to put in what day for our advent calendar (I bought this one from the Lisa Angel sale). It's only things like make cards, decorate biscuits, so shouldn't be affected if we have a resurgence of CV.

Since we bought our Hyundai we have loved it and l can't see us changing our allegiance any time soon. Dh was a Ford man through & through but he loves this car, very comfy and very nice drive. It's a compact SUV, a Tuscan and we have never had such a comfortable roomy car

MrsMad the bench looks lovely we bought similar from Argos and it was wonky and broke within a year I wouldn't want to put it together either!

Marshmallow I do similar with scraps of paper, empty envelopes are just go-to. Buy a book with a little sleeve inside the back cover and stuff them in there 👍🏻

Firefly I've tried the bullet journal thing too but it just turned into another 'scrappy' notebook with odd entries when I felt like writing. So now (because I love stationary) I have a scrappy book (which is an avengers one I nicked off DH), a diary planner thing - this has birthdays, holidays, appointments, insurance renewals, medications, all sorts in it, a journal that I use when I'm stressed / when I remember and a Christmas book which basically has my Christmas card list, budget, what presents I intend to buy, what I actually bought, anything I want to do then a little write up about how it went. Have only done it for 3 years but we were away for 2 of them so it's lovely to look back on

I am just about to soak in the bath. I've read so much today I can't take in anymore so I'm having a bath, then pjs on, cross stitch, cuppa and early night!

I won't buy anything for DS just yet Mrs. The Power Rangers stuff is all old so can only be bought second hand now so will start researching the stuff he doesn't have and places they can be found.

Have just been looking at subscription boxes and have sent DH a cross stitch one and some gardening ones in case he is struggling with ideas for me for birthday/Christmas. The cross stitch one comes with sweet treats!

I'm on night 2 of the toy shop. These ones are so fiddly to start as the centre always has about a dozen colours in small amounts around it. I never know where to go next!
