Thank you so much Woolly I and DH have laughed our heads off at it Grin

PJMasksGhekko · 31/03/2020 20:10

My brothers ex seems to think he can use my Dad's car to take the girls to see her Saturday, 2 hours away!! We have no idea how seriously she's taking this, so no clue who she's been seeing, plus my brother has asthma, she has no overnights either.

PJMasksGhekko · 31/03/2020 20:11

My brother doesn't live with my parents either.

Mrsmadevans · 31/03/2020 20:20

PJ that's a total nono as you know. Think she's nuts at best and a really nasty piece of work at worst your poor brother Hmm
Of course the car could be out of order Hmm Grin

TheWoollybacksWife · 31/03/2020 20:25

You know PJ cars that haven't been used since Boris told us all to stay at home MIGHT have flat batteries and won't start. 🤭

PJMasksGhekko · 31/03/2020 20:25

Ha I can assure you she doesn't care, all she cares about is herself, I might tell Dad to remove his battery Grin

Mrsmadevans · 31/03/2020 20:27

Do it PJ Grin

PJMasksGhekko · 31/03/2020 20:34

Mum just rang , she's pissed off because Bob has gone to bed and put the telly off lol , she said he's moody and miserable, I think he was probably just tired after running around looking after Mum all day poor bgr Grin. DH says it's because she is missing her house . l think it's because she is spoilt and likes her own way , we shall see Grin

PJMasksGhekko · 31/03/2020 22:13

Oh dear, poor Bob lol, he obviously knows when he's tired, good for him!! Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 31/03/2020 23:14

Woolly, I hope you endured enjoyed the performance!

I've been busy cross stitching tonight. It feels like I'm getting somewhere now!

Hi folks. Busy rocking the night shift although we are not really busy this evening.

NoWordForFluffy · 01/04/2020 06:56

Morning. I'm still tucked up in bed for now! I'm going to miss getting up at the same time as the kids when I'm back in the office!

I've no idea what the weather is like but I know it's meant to be dry!

My broad beans are popping through now. I'll be able to put them in the ground soon (it was too wet when I sowed them). I'm debating doing another tray of them. My peas are almost all through too. I definitely need two more trays of those! I could fill the whole allotment with peas and it wouldn't be enough!

I don't envy you night shifts, why!

pussycatinboots · 01/04/2020 07:02

why i nearly got up at 3 again, so we could have had a chat. sorry - i rolled over instead Grin

Mrs poor old Bob. The grass wasn't greener then Grin

PJ hope your Bro is ok. She sounds deranged. Is she not aware of a TV programme called the news? Hmm

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 01/04/2020 07:03

It's raining here. Nothing beats a rainy day when you come home from night-shift. Snuggling down whilst everyone else is up. A win.

NoWordForFluffy · 01/04/2020 07:05

Hmmm. Forecast says 7% chance of rain. It's raining!

My allotment trip at lunchtime is no longer needed! Maybe we'll scoot in the park - if it's quiet - instead (we live opposite a big park).

Boots, she accused him of making up those awful storms as an excuse not to travel the other month! She's thick as fuck as well.

WreckTangled · 01/04/2020 07:27

It's really sunny here but frosty. Sunday is going to be sunny and 17°!

I'm just lying on my bed having a coffee. Have had a shower and got dressed.

pussycatinboots · 01/04/2020 07:38

There seems to be (at least) one in every family. I had an Uncle Knob Head. He was physically abusive not only to his own sons, but me too. A pigheaded, arrogant, selfish man who is now a very lonely old man.

why have a good days sleep.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 01/04/2020 08:19

No rain here but pretty over cast, to be honest we need some rain. Due to be lovely and warm at the weekend so will get my first early potatoes into the ground :) Will also start sowing lots more seeds over the next couple of weeks as the temperatures look consistently higher going forward according to the BBC.

pussycatinboots · 01/04/2020 08:33

Thanks most for the reminder about the spuds, I'll start spritting them today. Smile

fluffy I meant to say, that picture is giving me envy. Grin I can't sew at the mo as my fingers are catching on the thread still.

NoWordForFluffy · 01/04/2020 08:37

I managed to unthread my needle with my manky thumb a few times last night, Boots! 🙄

I'm chitting main crop spuds under the stairs. I'll put them in at Easter.

I have more seeds to sow now it's April. But nowhere to put them at the moment. 😂 Once the bloody greenhouse gets built (again, Easter, when I've 10 days off and we aren't limited to the weekend) it'll be better. Especially, as you say, Most, as it'll be warmer so things will germinate outside in the greenhouse.

Will be nice not to have every south facing windowsill in the house taken up by propogators fluffy Grin

FireflyGirl · 01/04/2020 09:48

And the dining table most Blush

Lots of peas on the go here too, but you can never have too many peas! Ours never make it into the house, they're always eaten straight from the pod!
