Here we go, new thread.

We've been very chatty this month! 😁

He is showered but he has a big case of the grumps today. His mood will improve later when he discovers that we have his favourite yoghurt in the fridge. Small wins.

Morning!

Another chilly start; dry still though.

I hope your teen's mode has improved, Woolly!

I'm waiting for 8am in Sainsbury's car park. I thought it would be rammed, but it's not. 🤷‍♀️

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 31/03/2020 07:38

That's good fluffy. I suppose things are calming down a bit. From what I hear Tesco and ASDA are still pretty busy so maybe Sainsbury's is the way to go Grin

I just weighed myself and I'm 7lb up on what I was at Christmas. Really must stop all the eating. But also really want biscuits and chocolate.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 31/03/2020 08:23

Ah glad the shop is quiet for you fluffy :)

It should be warming up from tomorrow. Think I will get my first early potatoes in this weekend.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 31/03/2020 08:27

Things must be improving as Sainsburys have just released a load of home delivery slots so I have one booked for Saturday :)

NoWordForFluffy · 31/03/2020 08:55

I can't get a Sainsbury's delivery slot, but it's no bother to go to the shop.

It's only a little Sainsbury's, so people probably think it'll be devoid of stock (it was at the start of this, and it's always poor later in the day even without a crisis).

I forgot a couple of bits. Shopping for two households sends me wappy! Grin

CrazyBaubles · 31/03/2020 10:31

Wreck my scales say I've put on 3lbs in 2 weeks but I'm not sure how accurate that are 🤔

DH has had to go into work this morning. He text to tell me there was no queue outside Tesco today so maybe it is calming down a little Fluffy

Woolly I hope your ds cheered up!

I feel very tired today. I'm a bit bunged up (hay fever) so waiting for the antihistamines to kick in.

Plan for today:

  1. Order photos from free prints so I can update nieces & nephew pics
  2. Order some bowls from Denby using Clubcard points
  3. Finish the bloody spare room!
  4. Dust / polish downstairs
  5. At least start the crochet bird for MIL
  6. NOT to open the cross stitch that was delivered this morning!

WreckTangled · 31/03/2020 11:09

I love that cross stitch!

Did anyone hear the news about that family all found murdered including the dog 😭 so awful. Unfortunately I think we will be hearing a lot more about it. It's in an area I cover for work.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 31/03/2020 11:13

Just seen it wreck. I'm assuming that the father did it :(

TheWoollybacksWife · 31/03/2020 11:16

That is gorgeous Crazy. I'm not surprised that you're itching to get started!

Well done on the shopping Fluffy. I feel so much more content with a full fridge. I've got a C&C slot booked for my next load of shopping so I'm pretty much sorted until well after Easter weekend although every time I go in to edit it I'm anxious that I might accidentally delete it.

MrsMad I hope your situation with your DM is calming down. It's hard to detach but sometimes even a short break is all you need.

70 DS is threatening a man bun 🤣. He normally has a short back and sides with No. 3 clippers every 6 weeks. He was due to be shorn this Friday so a bun is a realistic prospect by the time the barbers is open again.

Most send me your threads 😀 I'll untangle them for you. I love doing stuff like that.

Hope Boots, Wreck, Firefly, Biddy, PJ and Why are all well. Apologies to anyone else I might have missed.

DS seems to be much happier today - we have orange juice and yoghurt after yesterday's shopping. He's missing his friends though and not really getting enough exercise. DH did mention a bike ride later.

WreckTangled · 31/03/2020 11:20

Most apparently so Sad

PJMasksGhekko · 31/03/2020 11:29

Morning, on the hold to sony to sort out Ds's account, I keep getting booted and the signal is terrible!!

Last day of isolation today thank god!! Not that we can do much, I too think my cough and cold symptoms is hayfever!! Don't know why I didn't click sooner to be honest, have took a tablet so hopefully it'll work.

Damn it's kicked me off again arghhh, will try later.

pussycatinboots · 31/03/2020 13:55

Afternoon Grin
DH called at the pharmacy for his months supply of meds this morning.
He parked on Morrisons...there was no queue Wink, so he grabbed a trolley and got some cat food and litter, fresh veg, ginger nuts again and orange squash.
Woolly DH is growing his hair long Hmm "like it's the 1970s"
Crazy Have you started your Coo yet? Grin go on, you know you want to

FireflyGirl · 31/03/2020 16:27

boots I think we all know lockdown during a global pandemic is no time to be resisting temptation Wink It is a very cute Coo...

Crazy ignore your scales - they'll be different than the ones at group, anyway.

Woolly glad to hear your DS has picked up a bit. I think exercise is going to be a problem for everyone. I mostly signed DS up for swimming and Rugbytots because he won't do exercise at home - he'd rather play/build Lego/make dens. He is a normal weight, and has been pretty consistent for the last 6 months (we used to weigh at the gym after swimming), but even though he is eating less I won't be surprised if he is heavier after this.

Did you get sorted in the end, PJ?

Mrsmadevans · 31/03/2020 16:49

Boot she's started it Grin

PJMasksGhekko · 31/03/2020 17:17

We did!! But it can take up to 2 days for him to be able to use it again.

I've just had dinner, I'm stuffed, will take the dog for a walk when I don't feel so bloated Grin

Mrsmadevans · 31/03/2020 18:37

Evening everyone 😀
Have been to Bob's , Mum was fine. Sorted them out and told them we won't be going there tomorrow morning. They should be fine. They are like the proverbial pigs together 😂
PJ yes sounds delicious 😁. I am full from 2 dry hot cross buns and a dish of dry roasted nuts 🙄😂
It must be the nuts that has filled me up 😂

Mrsmadevans · 31/03/2020 18:45

Woolly things have certainly quietened down with Mum and Bob thankfully. I am fuming with her still she started her nonsense again , eyes to the ceiling, closed eyes head down mouth pursed. I read her the riot act again. She was so rude to me. I think l have been under such stress and they haven't got the slightest idea 🙄
Hey ho
On a lighter note has anyone seen the Himalayan goats taking over the town of Llandudno , so sweet 😂🧡

NoWordForFluffy · 31/03/2020 18:57

Yes, Mrs! How funny are those goats?!

At least you got it sorted, PJ. Two days isn't long to wait!

Firefly, ours scoot round the garden a fair bit (though not as much today). They'll scoot to the allotment with me tomorrow lunchtime as well. It's difficult getting them exercised!

Woolly, I'm glad the teen has perked up!

Boots, what do you reckon your DH will look like with long hair?! Mine will be so messy when we go back as I've a short, layered, bob!

Crazy, I love the coo! One day I'll do mine too! John Clayton is keeping me busy for now though.

Wreck, I hadn't heard about that. How awful. Sad

OP posts:
Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 31/03/2020 19:05

I saw the goats too. Llandudno is mine and DH's favourite place in the whole world and we want to move there one day.

pussycatinboots · 31/03/2020 19:34

fluffy like James May, but without the ability to mend anything! Grin

I recognised Llandudno from the pictures before they said where they were from Grin

TheWoollybacksWife · 31/03/2020 19:46

Did you see the goats and the Italian wild boars set to the West Side Story soundtrack? 🤣

We are now having a concert from DS. He plays bass guitar (self taught) and is playing along to a Queen soundtrack. We are going to FaceTime MIL and let her share the joy. Good job we've got a detached house. 🙉

Mrsmadevans · 31/03/2020 19:49

Woolly have you got a link m'dear would love to see it Smile thank you

Mrsmadevans · 31/03/2020 19:51
