Mrsmadevans · 25/04/2020 16:43

You enjoy it 😁😊😉🍾🍹🍺🍻🍷🍸🥂😋😋😋

pussycatinboots · 25/04/2020 17:09

Mrs the scratch means the cat has accepted you as his/her servant. You are truly blessed.

Wreck don't stand up to quickly Wink

WreckTangled · 25/04/2020 17:24

The gin one is delicious. They're like the cocktails you have abroad 🥴

Mrsmadevans · 25/04/2020 17:51

Wow err ....thank you Boot & Bob's cat Grin
Wreck get them down you gel , put hairs on yer chest! Wine Grin
They are tightening travel and exercise up here in Wales. Cyclists are only allowed to ride within a reasonable walking route Grin I can see that being adhered to Hmm
My Mum's Neighbour has just been on the phone to me , she has been housebound for 5 weeks on lockdown, very lonely and not well, not from CV19 from MS bless her Sad she is alright for food deliveries and for everything else just lonely , she is only 60 . Hasn't seen her Gc for weeks . She said she can't bear it much longer but l told her she has to just keep her head down and keep going. She said my SIL contacted her via FB to tell her about Mum staying with Bob & didn't she think it was awful. Mum's Neighbour never hears from SIL , obviouly SIL is shit stirring . Mum's neighbour told her straight how lucky Mum was to be staying with Bob and not lonely. SIL said 'didn't she think it was too soon' . Neighbour said' what do you think they will be doing , bedhopping at their age FGS?' Grin
I can't get over my SIL l never thought she would be like this. Mum will be devastated when l tell her. I have to tell her because her neighbour will tell her. God knows who else she has been speaking to about it Shock l hope they tell her straight !

NoWordForFluffy · 25/04/2020 18:50

Wreck, it's cooler here today than yesterday. And our rain forecast is more promising next week now (we're actually at 60% one day!). Hopefully the weather is turning in time for me to go back to work next Thursday!

I really need to get the digging done by the end of Monday, however long it takes me! It's never ending. Sigh. I'm spending Wednesday planting peas out and generally tidying up; stuff I've not been able to do while the digging had to be done.

My runner and green beans are germinating well. I should be able to plant them out next weekend. I've got some purple, yellow and stripy dwarf beans too!

Your cocktails sound great fun! Are you squiffy now?!

Mrs, your SiL is as bad as our sister. They both need to butt out.

PJ is about elsewhere (my WhatsApp!), but I hope Firefly is OK. Why is also around elsewhere!

My legs were filthy when I got home today. 😂😂😂 I look like I've been down the mine!

Fluffy 😂😂😂😂 they look like dh's legs after he's been at work.

I'm not but I'm about to have another one!

Mrsmadevans · 25/04/2020 19:02

GrinGrin @ Fluffy's legs
Thank you so much for showing us them that leggys l love it!

Mrsmadevans · 25/04/2020 19:04

l am vere vere impressed you have shaved them, mine are not shaved and neither is my 'tache Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 25/04/2020 19:12

If I don't shave them, I scratch them til I bleed! It's an incentive. 😂😂

I pluck my tache and all the other random face / neck hairs that plague me!

Happy Rudolph Day 🎄

Wreck jealous of your cocktails. I asked DH to buy me the pre-mix mojito cans but he forgot 🙄

Fluffy your legs!! You've clearly been working hard!

MrsMad Your SIL is cheeky, how does it effect her that your mum is staying with Bob?

It's been so hot here. DH and I have had a relatively slow day. DH has been planning lessons and putting stuff on eBay. I've done the minimum around then house then locked myself away in the bedroom to watch The Grinch and start crocheting my Christmas tree. I've warned DH that I'm hormonal (period today 😩) and he left me completely alone for 2 hours 😂

I've added a pic of my rings but realised that they desperately need a good clean / polish. They are white gold but they don't look it at the mo! Also, please excuse the awful hands, they're dry and old looking..

Morning! I had another 'cannot stay awake; need bed now!' night last night. So that means I'm awake earlier than normal. I do need to try to maintain a normal sleep pattern though really!

Crazy, at least your DH knows when to leave you alone. 😂

I'm going to Home Bargains this morning, for the food bits I only get there because of cost. I've also got to clean the bathroom and kitchen as the allotment took precedence.

I'm sowing flower seeds later on though, so that's something to look forward to. 😁

WreckTangled · 26/04/2020 07:29

I was awake 3-5:30. Hoping to have a sneaky nap this afternoon.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 26/04/2020 07:36

Morning all, DS had me up just before 6 Sad

Plan for today is clean the house, plant last of potatoes at allotment and then the shopping delivery is arriving :)

Last properly nice day for a week or so going by the weather forecast so sure we will enjoy some paddling pool action this afternoon too :)

Have a good Sunday everyone!

Mrsmadevans · 26/04/2020 08:15

Morning everyone 😀👋
Another🌞 beautiful day here yay!
Fluffy you have a good plan for today 😀
I would love to go to Home Bargains drool have an Iceland order coming this morning. Dd1 is seeing to Mum and Bob today.
I see BJ is back in work tomorrow 🤯 hmm don't know what to make of that tbh. Hopefully he has taken the right advice but he's a man so .....

Most sounds like a good plan for today too, didn't realise weather was going to break , damn n blast , sunny days help so much l find🤗
Wreck you were awake between 3 and 5.30 that is savage vere savage. Afternoon nap definitely on the cards for you m'dear 💐
Crazy lovely hands don't look dry to me 😀
Lovely rings can't see owt wrong with them tbh 😀
Great idea prewarning DH 🤗
I used to get really mad when l had pmt , not good, l was a completely different person very irritable .
Am watching the news and thinking l may just stop watching it tbh it's very depressing.
Hey ho time to get up have a lovely day everyone 😀

CrazyBaubles · 26/04/2020 09:13

Morning. It's lovely and sunny here but I think we're due light rain every day for a week starting tomorrow so I've got my second load of washing in already 😂 I've cleared my basket though so that's something.

Fluffy I would really like a wander around Home Bargains with a basket right now. I don't need anything in particular but I always enjoyed browsing in there and ending up with a few cleaning products, some snacks and a plant pot or something.

MrsMad my hormones are awful - I don't rage like my mum and sister but I'm so irritable. Usually my first warning is when everyday noises annoy me (next doors dog barking, cars revving), then I get weepy over the smallest things. Much better that I'm left alone tbh 😂

No big plans today. More weed control on the front garden, clean skirting boards, picture rails and door frames all around the house and sort through the last bag in the spare room (no idea what's in there). And I want to finish my crochet Christmas tree - I'm halfway there so will hopefully have a pic for you all later.
I don't even need to cook tea because I made a lasagne yesterday for today.

Have a lovely day all ☀️

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 26/04/2020 09:26

Morning all.
DH has progressed from "Taboo" to "Gangs of London"
I'm guessing Tom Hardy must've been busy , it's the sort of series you'd expect him to spring up in ( It's mega grim)

Might tidy the bedroom today - I can put clothes in the loft (I've got a stash of those vacuum bags from Costco) anything to throw out goes tomorrow .
Charity shop / recycling I have to hang onto for now.

Had a very weird dinner yesterday of filled pasta, swede&carrot mash and Quorn chicken slices ( food on its use by )
Xmas Grin

FireflyGirl · 26/04/2020 09:43

Morning! Sorry for disappearing, have been knackered and nauseous. Was in a right grump yesterday, spent most of the day dozing in bed feeling sorry for myself.

Just can't get motivated to do anything. DH is being a good sport and entertaining DS and cooking/tidying.

Love seeing all your rings! DH picked my engagement ring himself, which I really love (sorry 70, though it's definitely not tooth-hewn - I found the receipt by accident when I was tidying once), and then I had to find a wedding ring to go with it. Because of the shape of my engagement ring, I had to special order one, and when it arrived it was white gold instead of platinum, but we didn't have time to wait for the proper one before the wedding, so the ring I wear now isn't the one I got married with. I do find it slips round, though. And I have stubby, old-lady hands Blush

WreckTangled · 26/04/2020 09:43

I love a random dinner! We haven't got any food in the house at all, it's awful! Am saving the tin of tuna and three sandwich thins for the dc's packed lunch tomorrow and have ingredients for pasta Bolognese for tonight. Lunch will be interesting though Confused

WreckTangled · 26/04/2020 09:44

Oh firefly I'm glad you're all ok.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 26/04/2020 10:12

Our dinner last night was pretty random Grin Shop arriving today!

House is clean, first load of washing on the line, second about to go out.

Oh and I just had a text from the garden centre, my stuff is arriving today!!!!!

NerosFiddle · 26/04/2020 10:54

Morning.

Slightly fuller today. Just waiting on a full on pour down, but according to my weather app that won't be until Wednesday.

I think I got 11 hours sleep last night. I'm still exhausted.

I would love to be getting out to a shop. I think it's been 5 weeks since I've been out properly. According to Facebook the queues to get into any shops is still ridiculous here. Dh was working on Friday and when he went in there was a queue of 40 people waiting to get in.

FireflyGirl · 26/04/2020 11:01

Thanks, Wreck. Didn't mean to worry you Blush Can you set the kids the task of coming up with lunch?

Still feeling lazy today. DS and I are laid in bed reading Dr Seuss and watching TV. DH brought us breakfast in bed, which was nice, but now there are crumbs.

Luckily we needed to change the bedding anyway!

Jealous of your garden centre delivery, most. I need more compost. And rain! Although we are forecast rain from about 4pm overnight, which I'm really hoping happens!

FireflyGirl · 26/04/2020 11:10

It'll be 6 weeks on Tuesday since I've been anywhere that's not home, the garden or the allotment. I'd love to go for a wander around Home Bargains... It's one of my favourite shops, I get all our cleaning stuff from there, and they do a bar of marzipan covered in chocolate which I love, and I always find stuff that I didn't even know I needed until I got in there!

Our B&Q has reopened, but the local paper has posted photos of the queue to get into the car park to queue for the shop... I'm not that desperate!
