Dh cooked them a smashing fry up for Lunch slurp sorted the house out for them, Mum makes such a mess and Bob moves Mum's stuff all over the place it's awfully time consuming and downright bloody frustrating Hmm
Mum was very cruel to Bob , they had a row and she told him that he would be on his own if she went home because none of his family bother with him. She told my DD1 not to say anything to me . I wanted to give her what for but they are fine today . I have news for her, there is no way we would drop Bob now even if they split, he's too nice a person and we have grown fond of him. So yah boo sucks Mum!

Mrsmadevans · 14/04/2020 15:21

You sound a lot better today , are they just any old crisps or are they
M& S crisps Grin

pussycatinboots · 14/04/2020 15:31

Neros glad you're feeling better today. Enjoy the Wine in the sun.
Firefly I've everything crossed for you Cake

NerosFiddle · 14/04/2020 16:12

Mrs I'm afraid they're just tesco own brand crisps. I've lost a lot of unintentional weight this year so I'm eating what I like now Grin.

Boots I'm afraid to say that I'm feeling better because I seem to go straight back downhill then.

Fire, I had a lot of stretching pain too. Hopefully that's all it is.

Mrsmadevans · 14/04/2020 16:18

Have got an earworm of the Good Life opening music going on now Boot Grin cho in trolley as we speak Grin
and yes l agree, leave Mum to it . She can sort it out herself!

Mrsmadevans · 14/04/2020 16:30

Nero you enjoy them m'dear, look after yourself Smile
Stew smells lovely , l won't have any because l don't like the meat , it's cuts of lamb or beef with fat on urgghhhh . I know it's the fat that gives the flavour and l alwys brown it off first but l can't face the thought of it. Dh doesn''t mind all the more for him he says Grin

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 14/04/2020 19:09

If you have an android phone Mrs, Google might have remembered all your passwords except banking.

Mrsmadevans · 14/04/2020 20:55

Oh thank you Why l am going to see if can find them Grin
It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack Grin

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 15/04/2020 00:52

My shifts are getting weirder and weirder. A caller suggested that I am the reason there are issues in the NHS!!! They also suggested I had a hotline to Boris which is kind of odd.

I also have extremely sore hands from all the washing and anti baccing (Yes that is a word) and I have to get some kind of skin lotion from Occupational Health tomorrow before my hands shred to bits (totally attractive I know).

Mrs, I hope you sorted your phone.

pussycatinboots · 15/04/2020 07:00

why your poor hands! maybe when you speak to Boris, he can get you some special magic gloves that save your hands.
I have a pump dispenser of body lotion next to the soap. Can you get some cotton gloves or old clean socks and shove tons of moisturiser on before bed?

Morning! Sunny and cold again! We've had the heating on for 45 minutes the last two days as our Victorian house does get chilly. Thankfully the south-facing lounge maintains a bearable temp (19°) during the day thanks to the sun!

The greenhouse is a revelation as it stays relatively pleasant even overnight. 😁

Why, I pity your hands. I have eczema anyway, so the increase before I finished work led to agony. My right thumb is still unthreading my needle sore now. I echo Boots' gloves / loads of hand cream overnight idea.

Nero, wine and crisps? Yum! 😋

We had an alcohol-free day yesterday for the first time in ages. I think we will today too. I've no intention of exiting lockdown as a functioning alcoholic! 😱😂 I've got alcohol free beer - Bavaria; it's really nice! - on tomorrow's C&C from Tesco for those 'sunny afternoons in the garden' beer-drinking moment. Grin

Firefly, how are you today?

Crazy, re washing everything that's not moving. Yes. With bells on! 😂 I'm doing everything!

WreckTangled · 15/04/2020 08:12

Morning!

Ds was in my bed this morning and slept until ten minutes ago. He'd been up in the night with leg pains according to DH.

Sunny and cold here too. I need to do washing, housework and go on a walk today.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 15/04/2020 08:39

Morning all, also sunny and cold here today. Need to thin out my radishes and my carrots have just started appearing :)

Should be finding out at midnight which school DS has got into. Nervous!

FireflyGirl · 15/04/2020 08:58

Also sunny here, but I don't know if it's cold as I haven't been outside yet.

I'm okay, thanks for asking. Was cramping again yesterday, but went away overnight. I'm hoping it's just from not doing enough exercise - I haven't managed more than 6500 steps a day for the last 4 weeks. My Fitbit counted 40 minutes exercise yesterday, which was a very slow meander with DS. Think it was making the most of what it could 😁

Is that primary, most? Maybe you could borrow why's magic phone and ask BJ? Wink

Is he having growing pains, Wreck?

why Wreck (I think) recommended Aveeno when my hands were bad before I started wfh, which really helped. I ordered it from Amazon.

WreckTangled · 15/04/2020 09:04

Ah yes primary school places! Good luck Smile

Firefly not sure. Usually he gets growing pains when he's had a busy day but he didn't do anything yesterday.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 15/04/2020 09:12

Yes primary school places :)

NoWordForFluffy · 15/04/2020 09:19

Good luck, Most. It feels like forever ago that we had to do that!

Wreck, maybe it's cramping-type pains due to not doing as much?

It's actually not too cold outside now (in the scheme of things!) and really lovely in the greenhouse (I went to take the fleece off).

Firefly, I imagine the cramps are to do with your expanding uterus rather than exercise levels. My poor Fitbit is grabbing at every opportunity to tell me I've done something (and I'm logging even small amounts of housework 😂).

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 15/04/2020 09:21

Thanks all :)

Radishes now thinned :) Really not a fan of thinning. I know why it needs to be done but hate pulling up healthy seedlings.

PJMasksGhekko · 15/04/2020 10:00

Morning, I used to suffer really badly with dermatitis on the palms of my hands, absolute agony.

Today I'm hunting round online for DDs birthday present, she wants some decent headphones.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 15/04/2020 10:20

Thanks Boots I will put a word in with the blonde haired guy later with my special phone! 😂

Firefly I will have a look at that thank you.

Any other requests from my tete a tete with Bojo later? 😂

pussycatinboots · 15/04/2020 12:46

why yep, can he guarantee that we have rain overnight for about an hour or so every night save a few quid on the water meter ?
and he should deliver free crisps, chocolate and wine/beer to every household once a week too Grin

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 15/04/2020 13:29

Rain would be extremely useful! As boots says just an hour or so at night.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 15/04/2020 13:58

I will put that to him boots and most. I think both ideas are very important!

WreckTangled · 15/04/2020 14:07

Can you ask him to tell my neighbours that it's fucking selfish to be lighting their indoor fire and completely unnecessary Angry if my washing smells after today I'm not going to be impressed

pussycatinboots · 15/04/2020 14:16

Wreck what you need is a v long ladder and a v v long hose pipe Grin
