Neros Nice to see you back. I think that's just about a full roll-call now Smile
It's a bit hazy here, but it's not stopping DH Shock he's got the karcher out and it blasting the patio obviously he's feeling a lot better
I've just found a cat asleep under the duvet - he's roasting but seems happy enough Hmm i wondered what the lumpy bit in the bed was
Going to make an apple crumble later - we'll have it for tea...ice cream or custard?
70 I had a collection of mugs when I was younger - mum chucked a load of them out when i moved out including my special Liverpool mug ShockSadAngry

WreckTangled · 10/04/2020 10:32

Custard for sure.

Neros hope you're feeling better

TheWoollybacksWife · 10/04/2020 11:07

Neros welcome back. Hope you are on the mend.

Boots is both an option? 🐷

Cherryrainbow · 10/04/2020 12:13

Morning, or afternoon lol. Another lush day here but I would rather chill indoors today. anyone else having trouble sleeping ??

WreckTangled · 10/04/2020 12:22

It's nice here today because there's a breeze.

My egg free banana muffins turned out really well except they stuck to the paper. Shouldn't have used any.

DH is working today, tomorrow and Monday. I know we're lucky he's still working but feel a bit fed up as I've been home with the dc on my own every day for the past three(?) weeks apart from Sundays.

TheWoollybacksWife · 10/04/2020 12:57

Cherry I'm not sleeping brilliantly at the moment. It improved a couple of days ago when I changed to my lighter duvet and persuaded DH to keep the windows open but my shoulder is in the process of freezing so I wake frequently when I turn over.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 10/04/2020 13:06

Hi everyone. Messaging you all from the office. I have run out of hay-fever tablets and sneezed at which point the whole office nearly evacuated 😂

PJMasksGhekko · 10/04/2020 13:07

Welcome back Nero, glad you are better, I'm feeling unmotivated today, couldn't get burgers at shopping yesterday so no BBQ here for us!!

WreckTangled · 10/04/2020 13:16

Oh no why! Ds seems to be ok at the moment despite the tractor in the field cutting the grass.

We've got a power cut luckily I had just done lunch as I don't want to open the fridge now.

TheWoollybacksWife · 10/04/2020 13:29

PJ have you tried the butcher's on the crescent opposite the pub? That's where we go for our BBQ supplies. Their lamb and mint burgers are fabulous. Not much use for today but it's supposed to be even nicer tomorrow. They open until 1ish on a Saturday. Otherwise Jamie's in town are open.

PJMasksGhekko · 10/04/2020 13:36

I am on a double shift tomorrow woolly, and working Sunday, might just pop to the co op as they are offering 10% off for NHS workers at the moment, might get some cider too Grin

I do like that butchery though Smile

TheWoollybacksWife · 10/04/2020 13:47

Definitely get some cider. Cold cider and a BBQ in the sunny garden sounds brill. Hopefully it'll set you up for your shifts tomorrow.

PJMasksGhekko · 10/04/2020 14:07

Done, they were already in the fridge so nice and cold Grin

WreckTangled · 10/04/2020 14:09

I want a cold drink 😭 we don't have anything!

PJMasksGhekko · 10/04/2020 14:16

Aww Wreck if only you lived closer!!

NoWordForFluffy · 10/04/2020 15:02

Afternoon. I'm hot and sweaty (and glad I used sun cream!). I've got my potatoes in and done some weeding. I didn't get any more of the new plot dug over as I was digging marestail out. Bastard stuff is everywhere.

I took a picture of my fruit tree / left to go wild area as it looks so pretty (and was rammed with buzzy things!).

Afternon everyone Grin
Got up early to go and collect the order from Asda @ 8am , click and collect, lots of stuff missing but it was better than queuing , there were what must have been at least 100 ppl waiting outside and a homeless man begging going up and down the lines doing his best to be a super spreader, not keeping socially distant at all Hmm. I made Dh get back in the car, lock the doors, wind the windows up & lock the car up Hmm, l am not being nasty but it really was not the time or the place to be dealing with him like that , l could feel my anxiety rising & l was in the car! Hmm.
Woolly loving your frontline bear it is just darling droolrefreshing Smile
Agree with you re the cold sweet cider, just so thirst quenching and
Crazy glad you are feeling better today Flowers, the rapeseed is in the fields and l have been feeling quite peculiar, convinced l have CV19 Hmm throaty, tired, sneezy, sleepy in fact just recite the 7 dwarves and that is me today Grin
Wreck hope your leccy is back on m'dear Smile
PJ double shift on Easter Sat sounds vicious Flowers
Nero good to see you here hope you are feeling much better Smile
Boot glad Dh is better bless him, cats ae nuts , Bob's cat was dying yesterday , vomming & sleeping about the place and today chasing Voles Hmm
Grin @whydoesitalwayshappentome & the sneeze to end all sneezes
Well done on the mincemeat Fluffy have a great day at the allotment Grin
70 l saw all the lovely decs in TKMax and l am kicking myself too Hmm
Been to see to Mum & Bob , done a ton of washing and stuff for them, Mum rang me yesterday morning, 'Bob and l would like a salad today , so just a few salad items, some roast pork from the Delicatessen not plastic pork you bought last time, couple of eggs , l can't get eggs for love nor money here Hmm
l have told her that we are only getting shopping from deliveries/click & collect to save them because we are their source of infection Hmm She, him, they, are just oblivious to what it is like out here Grin

Mrsmadevans · 10/04/2020 15:08

Fluffy love the wild area , so pretty Smile

CrazyBaubles · 10/04/2020 16:50

Welcome back Neros, I hope you're feeling better.

What is it with men and their pressure washers puss? My DH, my friends DH, my dad and BIL have all been doing the same!

Cherry where in the country are you?
I found my sleep improving with open windows and less bedding too.

why 😂 at your alarming sneeze. I hope work is ok?

Wreck is your power back on now?
We currently have no hot water and we're not sure why. Boiler seems to be having an issue which is a pain.

Cold cider sounds good PJ (I'm roasting you with a Kir Royale from an Aldi's Christmas bottle DH found when cleaning the dresser in the dining room 🥂

Love your wild area Fluffy

My neighbour is similar MrsMad. He's elderly so has people shopping for him. Keeps complaining they're not getting exactly what he wants and has no comprehension of the supply issues etc at the mo.

I have done little bits today. I'm making candles which is an all day job because they are layered so have to let one set before adding the next. Have fixed a broken picture frame and repotted a plant. It was a gift and the card said it was a cactus but it is apparently an aloe succulent so it's in gritty soil and I'm hoping it doesn't die!
Had my delivery of bowls today too which I'm excited about . I love them, have wanted them for ages but couldn't afford them then discovered I could buy them with Clubcard points 👍🏻

Cherryrainbow · 10/04/2020 17:06

I'm in Swansea hun :) we have lush weather for a change. I've ended up sleeping on the sofa bed in the lounge as it's much cooler downstairs in our house and kept windows open x

WreckTangled · 10/04/2020 17:09

Power is on thanks! Was off for a couple of hours.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 10/04/2020 20:18

It isn't too bad thanks Crazy. Will be happier once it is 22.00 though.

There was a gorgeous sunset I watched from the Mind office today. Some perks to this job.

I've been up since 6:30 as Ddog has an upset stomach and was howling to go out. My bedroom is like an oven so no chance of any extra sleep so I'm sat in my living room, washing machine on, enjoying the cool and the peace.

I'll be back later when I'm awake properly!

pussycatinboots · 11/04/2020 07:35

Crazy hope DDog is ok now. Charlie barfed again in the night he's shedding so much fur it makes him a tad icky at this time of year on the kitchen rug we'd shampooed on Thurs Hmm perfect aim, right in the middle Grin
Been up since 5. It was still dark(ish). Lovely and peaceful first thing - NDNs are night owls and now they're "locked down", like burning things in the garden, apparentlyHmm
Wreck glad the powercut didn't last too long - I'd panic as the freezer is stuffed well stocked.

WreckTangled · 11/04/2020 07:39

Morning. I've got a horrible headache.

Looks like another very warm day here. Will do some washing and sit in the garden. Not much else to do.
