it's all Fluffy's faultGrin Grin

TheWoollybacksWife · 09/04/2020 19:04

MrsMad I'll join you in a toast to welcome back Boots. I need no encouragement. 🥂

Firefly she's 26. She's more clued up on the calendar than I am.

pussycatinboots · 09/04/2020 19:14

Firefly you were very lucky - I'm sure it was on the cusp of being frosty here (I was up just after 5 and everything was a bit white)
fluffy I'm guessing it was stressful Wink sometimes male and female "how to be practical and build stuff" especially if you haven't read the instructions doesn't actually mix Grin
Mrs how's DD getting on, is she working with the new field hospital?.

pussycatinboots · 09/04/2020 19:22

Woolly thanks Blush
Do you think we'll be "gifted" the title?
PJ what do you think?
I'd much rather we play the remaining games behind closed doors or even in the autumn before the start of next yrs season, and win it fair and square or all the MU fans will say the title and trophy arrived in a DPD van

Mrsmadevans · 09/04/2020 19:50

Woolly l am so sorry that is so frustrating , poor you , l bet you are spitting feathers , l know l would be Angry
Most thank you re Pidgy bless him Smile l thought today l hope ppl have got paddling pools for their Dc because it was absolutely beautiful here today Smile
Fuffy fab mincemeat and you have been so busy!!

Mrsmadevans · 09/04/2020 19:56

Boot Dd2 not working at the stadium she is working form home, she has 10 days off now what with A/L too. She much rathers working in the stadium she loves it , misses the craic with the others and is so proud of working there it isn't true Grin so long as she is happy then of course l am too Smile
Fire omg that was good luck you didn't lose the plants phew!!
Thank you all for commiserating re Pidgy bless him, l am glad he didn't suffer & there honestly was nothing else we could have done Smile

pussycatinboots · 09/04/2020 20:07

Mrs you did your best for pidgy, ours are still doing the "bow" and other rather odd mating rituals they don't take long Grin

Mrsmadevans · 09/04/2020 20:49

Grin @ Boot

PJMasksGhekko · 09/04/2020 20:59

Hmmm, i'd like to see us win it by playing, I think, even behind closed doors.

This is my version of cross stitch, there is alot of blue Grin

CrazyBaubles · 09/04/2020 21:58

Thank you for the yellow thread @TheWoollybacksWife. It arrived around 3pm today. Sorry I was so late posting to say thank you, I've been setting up my new phone and it taken a while.
What bear are you making?

I will hopefully finish 'Joey' tomorrow and will update with pics MrsMad.
Sorry about Pidgey.

Puss I'm so glad you're back, we were worried. Am also glad your absence was due to a tech issue and that your DH is ok

Afternoon beer Fluffy? Sounds fun 🍺 and looks well deserved to me!

I love a puzzle PJ but due to lack of space I only really get to work on them at MILs.

Weather has been bloody lovely here. We went for a walk at 5 hoping it would be cooler for DDog but I wore a maxi dress (which hid my scruffy trainers) and thin cardi and it was still a bit too warm.
I haven't done very much thanks to a bad nosebleed and associated light headedness and headache 🙄 although DH has been busy all day, weeding the garden (and hacking the brambles back into submission) and going through a lot of stuff in his office. We desperate need a tip run or five!

PJMasksGhekko · 09/04/2020 22:13

The puzzle is on the kitchen table, as soon as I move the cat is on it Grin

Nose bleeds are pain, do you get them often?

It's going to be lovely here, I'm working all weekend, it's my 2 shifts Saturday and 1 Sunday.

NoWordForFluffy · 09/04/2020 22:28

I feel your pain with blue, PJ. It's all I've done for days!

Crazy, sorry you're not fully recovered yet. I hope you improve soon.

Woolly, that's a pain re the gift. At least she's old enough to understand postal issues.

I want to see the bear too!

At least mine is easier to see fluffy Grin

WreckTangled · 09/04/2020 22:38

I love puzzles! I haven't done one for years though.

I just got an Asda delivery for a week tomorrow! Will cancel the click and collect at Tesco next Saturday.

PJMasksGhekko · 09/04/2020 22:51

wreck, you are doing very well with your deliveries Grin

TheWoollybacksWife · 09/04/2020 23:46

I've made a "Frontline Bear". I want to make another one for my friend's daughter who is working as a paramedic in London but I need to have a rummage for some dark green wool.

I'm love a good jigsaw. I've only got a "Kings and Queens" one or my Christmas ones. I might get one out although DS might view the Kings and Queens one as learning Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 09/04/2020 23:55

That's adorable, Woolly!

The kids love jigsaws too (so do I, but I've not got any!). DD was helping my dad do one when we last visited. ☺️

OP posts:
Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 10/04/2020 06:17

I am a big fan of jigsaws but DCat does not allow me to do them, she sees me doing one as an invitation to rub herself all over my face and bat the pieces off the table Hmm

Morning! Today is meant to be our hottest day of the weekend. So obviously it's my allotment day! 😂

My mincemeat has just gone into the oven for 3 hours. The house will smell amazing.

The kids are happily playing with the Imaginext figures I bought second hand for one of DS' Christmas presents last year. I knew he'd love them!

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 10/04/2020 08:22

I think tomorrow is going to be hotter here and considering the country's highest temp was recorded just down the road yesterday I think it's going to be pretty hot 😎

My aunt sent me a £10 amazon voucher for Easter which was nice.

Dd needs new knickers as hers are all too small.

I'm going to bake today. Egg free banana muffins.

CrazyBaubles · 10/04/2020 08:45

Morning. Looks like another scorched of a day here - going to get up to 22 according to the weather app. I'll be mostly hiding in the cool living room to be honest 😂

PJ I go through nosebleed phases. I didn't have any for ages but I've had at least one a week for the last month and they're awful. I think it's related to my hay fever - all the sneezing and blowing my nose etc.

Cross stitch is really coming on Fluffy.

Lovely bear woolly!

Wreck don't forget sun cream today!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 10/04/2020 09:21

Good to hear MrPuss is on the mend - being in hospital is nerve wracking enough without Covid 19 permanently on the forefront.

Nice to have a long weekend to enjoy , work has been busy, I do feel a bit Envy when I'm up and on the move , I cannot work from home . But I console myself that I won't have the shock to my system at the thought of getting back into gear . My drive to work is loads quicker at the moment too.

We unearthed the Easter Decorations. I was going to buy a huge Easter Wreath from HomeSense/TKMaxx (back in Feb) but it was £25 . I thought "Ill look online , find it cheaper....." of course I didn't.
Though I've got a small chicken wreath ( tiny yellow chickens stuck onto a card circle) it is squished beyond redemption.
I did buy DD a rabbit plate - she likes mugs, bowls, plates for Easter , Christmas,Hallowe'en and has quite a collection.

Woke up at Stupid o'Clock , DH got to feed the cats at 6.30 and dropped an empty coffee jar . Thankfully it was empty or he'd be under the patio right now .

Cinnamon buns (Jus-Roll) for breakfast .
Coffee then hairdye today .

NerosFiddle · 10/04/2020 09:53

Good morning all.

Sorry I went awol again. I was really sick for the last couple of weeks.

Hope everyone is doing ok.

It's another overcast day here. It's amazing the difference in weather we are all getting.
