Smyths has 20% off some Lego sets.

Surely though buying something in the sale that you were going to buy anyway means that you’re saving money?! Or because it’s gone into sale does that automatically mean that it’s ‘cheap crap’?!

Argos has several Lego sets 1/3 off.

Smyths have some great offers on barbies, swimming lesson/diving barbie half price now £13.49. Rainbow hair barbie now £14.99, chelsea football pitch set now £15. Argos have some fab offers on toys too.

Thanks for the ideas & savings so far. I’m trying to get ahead even more than usual but hoping to move so having to make sure it’s relatively small stuff. My brain is struggling without the use of camelcamelcamel! Are there any similar offerings that anyone knows about at all?

@gaggiagirl I bought a lovely diary from Typo for this year. Fat lot of use its been so far 🤣 I won't be buying for Christmas just yet our house move is on pause because of this and don't want buy till I'm in the new house!

Ooh, I like this thread. Great idea! I always say I'm going to buy ahead and never do- end up panic buying in December. I'll start looking in earnest in July (June is an expensive month for us) but placemarking!

I know sometimes M&S send out 20% off vouchers for friends and family at certain times of the year.
Don’t support anyone knows when they are likely to do so again?

I wrote out a list of those I need to buy for yesterday but that’s as far as I got. Time to get organised!

They normally come just before the 20% off uniforms which is late May / early June, from memory. I've not seen any yet though. I wonder if they'll do them this year?

Thanks for the Regatta tip! I’ve just ordered myself a badly needed waterproof jacket (£130 down to £50) and a very cute puddle suit for DS (£50 down to £15). Not strictly a Christmas bargain but I’m delighted with my mornings work! 👏🏻
