@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts

Joining here! I've bought some lol pets reduced from Argos.

Looking for ideas for dd1 - going to be 12 in November. Not girly at all, a bit geeky loves collecting funko mini figures, her favourite clothes are a bonkers adventure time printed skirt and Harley Quinn jacket!

Also on the lookout for descendants stuff for dd2, shes obsessed but I am not prepared to pay the crazy ebay prices for costumes when they are reduced to £16 in the disney store (I don't live near a store and not in stock online) will consider anything descendants themed!!

You've just described 80% of my DD - even the birthday!! - she has recently discovered make up so that will probably play a part of the gifting this year.

I was thinking a laptop due to starting secondary school, but haven't made the commitment yet!!

DD2 wants LOL and sweets....

Ah, I have fond memories of the Playmobil fire engine. That was a Tesco bargain in 2018, I think.

PinkDaydreams · 21/07/2020 15:48

These were reduced down to £2.50 in asda, magnetic tiles Smile

Sorry I was meant to type £2.50 each. I bought both sets to put away for Xmas

SodOffCovid · 21/07/2020 15:56

@PinkDaydreams The kaleidoscope was from home bargains for £1 in a dinsosaur pattern although the works sell the same in astronaut for £2. You can so get rabbits, unicorns etc. The bell musical shaker was from flying tiger tiger

SlatternIsMyMiddleName · 21/07/2020 19:12

Not sure if I saw it on here, so apologies if I'm duplicating - Sophie Allport site has 20% off their Dragonfly range.

Also Campus Gifts have a great sale on their Jellycat items.

SodOffCovid · 21/07/2020 19:52

Does anyone have any suggestions what to get a 18 yo niece Confused my mind is blown. She's a typical trendy young woman.

Courtney555 · 21/07/2020 19:58

@SodOffCovid anything Charlotte Tilbury

TheWoollybacksWife · 21/07/2020 20:00

Makeup brushes? DD2 is a makeup junkie Grin and rates Morphe or Real Techniques.

Someaddedsugar · 21/07/2020 20:16

@SodOffCovid Morphe usually have some great offers on their makeup brush sets and they're great quality.

Mac also have lovely makeup brushes.

Another option would be a Beauty Pie gift subscription but that would involve her spending money on the actual products in the new year...

Someaddedsugar · 21/07/2020 20:17

Rock On Ruby also do fab t-shirts and jumpers that might work @SodOffCovid - occasionally they have 20% off and sell via NOTHS where there are sometimes other offers on their range.

SodOffCovid · 21/07/2020 20:21

Brilliant thanks 🙂 I'm off to Google!

covidmonkey · 21/07/2020 20:22

Ernest Jones has a good sale. You get an extra 15% off with a code EXTRA15. I bought a watch and got it less than half price. Jewellery, watches etc.
