Welcome to the annual Christmas Bargain Prequel thread! We run through till about September which is when Reastie takes over for the run up to Christmas

Glad it’s not just me with postage cost frustration. It seems common now to be £4-5 on a number of websites, so annoying!

Chips what’s the OP post and link thing about? I haven’t seen that before.

Id love to start buying Xmas gifts now! Come December I'll be on the dregs of maternity so should do it all while I still can. Thanks to PP I picked up a few Entertainer bargains for other babies and kids gifts for a steal, so that was great!

@Reastie, I think it must be a new thing so you can at least read all of the OP's posts before posting. So the next best thing to RTFT. Probably better-used on Chat / AIBU!

@PinkDaydreams I had a similar party to attend and spent around £10. If you really don't know what he likes (trains/ dinosaurs/ cars maybe?) then I'm sure books would be fine! Or Lego/ Duplo? I think I bought a little Lego set and a couple of other bits - you could use the £5 off Amazon orders over £25 voucher and stock up on a few presents?

I agree about the postage issue, even ebay costs seem to be around £3-4 at the moment for a single top

@hoopdeloop that's a great deal. The on the farm one is also on at 4.67 but 2-4 week delivery. Great for Christmas though. Have ordered both.

Thank you @Everybodysaycheese that duplo set looks great. I have ordered it for my ds. I spotted it last year but it was rather expensive so I left it. It is nice to get it at a good price now. I feel I am making pretty good Christmas and birthday progress now.

We have the bugs Usborne jigsaw / book. I've just ordered the zoo and under the sea ones!

@NoWordForFluffy can I ask you what the book is like please? I can’t see a pic of it, it’s only showing pictures of the jigsaw on amazon and not the book that comes with it.

There was some baby/kid books on sale and offer in whsmith stuff including buy 1 get 1 half price on selected books.

They had double packs of the "that's not my_" books which were £6.

I picked up a hungry caterpillar baby book and snuggle blanket gift set for £8 (book alone is 6.99)

I did see they had a that's not my unicorn book and soft toy gift set reduced too x
