Mil. I’ll never be allowed to forget it.

Fishcakey · 25/12/2019 14:15

DH is currently slaving away over the stove.

Thesearmsofmine · 25/12/2019 14:15

Me, jus waiting for the last bits to be ready now.

Numbersarefun · 25/12/2019 14:15

Brother, daughters, SIL, son and probably others. We’ve all helped actually.

TwinMum89 · 25/12/2019 14:16

My stepdad with my mum’s assistance. He is a fantastic cook!

FurryDogMother · 25/12/2019 14:16

Me, I'm cooking it right now - turkey crown draped in streaky bacon went in about an hour ago, have just peeled spuds and snips, pigs in blankets made, stuffing made, ham cooked yesterday for reheating today, bread sauce and cranberry sauce to be sorted, gravy courtesy of Tesco's Finest. All on course for a 4 pm meal (turkey will be resting for a while) :) No stress!

DH doesn't cook - and that suits me just fine, because I love cooking.

NemophilistRebel · 25/12/2019 14:17

Dad

JemimaPuddleCat · 25/12/2019 14:17

Me. Was lovely.
Chicken, roasties, pigs in blankets, yorkies, stuffing balls, bread sauce, gravy, broccoli and carrots.
Nom.

zen1 · 25/12/2019 14:19

DH. All done and cleared away now!

eggofmantumbi · 25/12/2019 14:21

MIL. in my house in my brand new kitchen 🙄 but if I hadn't let her it'd be more hassle than it's worth

livingmyslothlife · 25/12/2019 14:25

Me like every year since I was 15 😭. Mum worked and dad was dead so I made it.

starfishmummy · 25/12/2019 14:28

No one yet. We eat ours in the evening.

Nogodsnomasters · 25/12/2019 14:29

My wonderful husband. I made the veg soup for starter just.

BikeRunSki · 25/12/2019 14:30

Me. We’re at DM’s (250 miles away). She was stressing about cooking times and going to church, so I did it. I wasn’t planning on going to church.

RandomUsernameHere · 25/12/2019 14:35

My DMum, she's a brilliant cook!

PlugUgly1980 · 25/12/2019 14:41

Me, all done and cleared away!

maxiflump1 · 25/12/2019 14:48

My mum. In my house with me as the sous chef (ie dogsbody) Was bloody lovely!

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 25/12/2019 14:48

Me. It was bloody lovely, if I do say so myself. I am officially the Queen of perfect roast potatoes today 😊

Sussexbonfireviking · 25/12/2019 14:50

I ordered an Indian takeaway last night, cooked it off and reheated it for dinner today!!

PandancerandRabbitoplh · 25/12/2019 14:52

DH is cooking it, currently in the oven and he's playing the piano.

1066vegan · 25/12/2019 14:55

Nobody yet, but it will be me later.

We are usually finished by now, but this year we are having Christmas Dinner in the evening. Teenage dd is waitressing. She started her shift at 12 and doesn't know what time she finishes, so dinner could be any time.

Marmite27 · 25/12/2019 14:56

DH put the meat in and prepped the veg. I did the other bits, finished off and slung it on the table Grin

dottydolly72 · 25/12/2019 14:57

Well.. in this house H does the Christmas cooking but he's yet to actually put anything on to cook! He prepared veggies earlier and then sat down to watch a film.. took the boys for a walk .. I've come back and he's in bed relaxing. I'm working my way through the chocolate. So I'm assuming like most times Christmas dinner will turn up around 7pm at this rate

userxx · 25/12/2019 14:59

The chef in the hotel. Booked in for dinner at 7.30, Christmas in the sun is the way forward.

milliefiori · 25/12/2019 15:02

Me. Haven't started yet, apart from prepping the turkey and making the pudding. We like to eat it at night. In a minute I'll go and peel the veg and make the stuffing. I love a quiet afternoon to myself with cheesey chrstmas music on, getting dinner ready.
