Sorry, not caught up at all with last thread because of a germy family. I’m figuring this will be the thread with Christmas on though!

No links etc because I’m figuring you know it all now and we’re so nearly there!

Happy Christmas everyone 🎄☃️❄️🎅🏻

I cannot find a single pair of 'festive' pyjamas to fit 13 & 14 yr old boys (or small mens) anywhere or a fleecy onesie (not camoflage pattern) for a 13 yr old. Not online or instore!
Any ideas you lovely lot?

Spartonian · 21/12/2019 23:08

@escape

Sainsburys had a few in those sizes half price.

Canklesforankles · 21/12/2019 23:24

escape I just noticed those last pjs are expensive compared to the tops.

mycatislickingherpaw · 22/12/2019 07:23

I’m waiting for the sales to buy a Christmas tree base cover, but I don’t know where to buy it from. I’d like something simple rather than something plastic-y or full of patterns. Can you please tell me where you got yours from?

PinkDaydreams · 22/12/2019 08:00

@ThatsMySantaHisBeardIsSoFluffy I’ve used up my free prime already unfortunately Hmm it was a jokey gift anyway so I’m going to put it on the list for next year.

PinkDaydreams · 22/12/2019 08:02

Does anyone know if the Christmas gifts in sainsburys come down in price before the big day please? Wondering whether to go in today or wait till Xmas eve as it’s just an extra gift.

CupoTeap · 22/12/2019 08:34

Xmas Sad can anyone tell me where I have hidden the switch games I hid in Oct?

PinkDaydreams · 22/12/2019 08:39

Suitcase? Wardrobe? Shoe box? Shed? Drawers? Airing cupboard? Loft? Inside a bag? Within towels/bedding?

wineoclockthanks · 22/12/2019 08:40

Top cupboard in the kitchen (which is where I found a chocolate Easter Bunny last week Grin )

ThePurpleGirl · 22/12/2019 09:01

@PinkDaydreams I'm not sure if you saw my post, but you said your DH has a prime account - if someone in the household has Prime they can share the benefits with other members of the household on their own accounts. I have Prime and have shared it with my DH so he can order stuff on Prime on his account and I don't see it. Ask your DH to add you as then you'll get Prime on your account too.

ThePurpleGirl · 22/12/2019 09:04

@CupoTeap drawers under your bed? Bedside table drawers? Switch games come in such tiny boxes they would be easy to slip in your sock drawer...

PinkDaydreams · 22/12/2019 09:12

@ThePurpleGirl thank you so much, I didn’t see your post sorry! I’ll ask him now :)

SlayingDragons · 22/12/2019 09:14

Urgh!!! I was done! Totally done! And now I need 2 more gifts at the very last minute.

  • Price - £5-6 max
  • 1 for 15yr old boy & 1 for 12yr old girl
  • Must be FUN
  • No books
  • Must be available on Amazon Prime, or from Smyths, Tesco, M&S, Asda, Home Bargains, B&M. (Other shops are available locally but they’re not going to sell FUN things!)
PinkDaydreams · 22/12/2019 09:19

@ThePurpleGirl he’s shared it with me thank you! When I sign in now though and on the app, do I sign in with my own amazon log in or do I sign in with his?

JoHo123 · 22/12/2019 09:25

@pinkdaydreams You sign in with yours.

PinkDaydreams · 22/12/2019 09:29

Ok thank you. Stupid head massager thing although is on prime I still have to spend £20 to get it delivered. There’s nothing else I need :(

ThePurpleGirl · 22/12/2019 09:37

@PinkDaydreams did your DH definitely put the email that you use for your Amazon account? And maybe you get an email you have to click a link to confirm? I can't 100% remember as our accounts have been shared for years. If his Prime account is shared with you, that head massager that was linked at 1150 yesterday should definitely work as a purchase on its own as it isn't an add on item.

Spartonian · 22/12/2019 09:44

@SlayingDragons
15 yr old boy
Argos have a UFO levitating thing.
M&S have a mini helicopter in their sale

12 year old girl
Plenty of games in the sale at M&S
Lush Snow fairy items
Harry Potter items

Beadstar · 22/12/2019 09:59

You can definitely share your accounts as ThePurpleGirl says. I’m the main account holder and have shared the benefits with my husband. We still have our separate accounts so can’t see each other’s orders but it means he also gets the free next day delivery whenever he orders anything. We did it years ago so I can’t remember how but there must still be an option as it still works for us.

PinkDaydreams · 22/12/2019 10:16

Yes I’ve accepted the email link, signed out of my account and then I signed back into it. I’ll sign out again and try again. Thank you so much for your help by the way! All this hassle for a flippin head massager that I could have picked up last week in primark for 80p if I’d have thought on!

Notso · 22/12/2019 10:26

I haven't been on these threads for a couple of years but I'm appealing for assistance with stocking fillers for a 19 year old DD and 3 DS's 15,8 and 7. Due to a virus going round us all I'm really behind with shopping.
I already have top trumps for the younger two and scratch cards for the older two, chocolate and sweets don't want to spend much more than £20 on each stocking.

DaisyChops · 22/12/2019 10:32

@SlayingDragons I got a good sound effects thing from home & bargain, it's like a little remote control with lots of buttons with different noises, it's really good! It was £3 I think

Lovemusic33 · 22/12/2019 10:46

Help, I’m twitching. Dad’s have just gone to their dads so I got all the presents out and counted them, dd1 has 4 more gifts than dd2, dd2 has ASD and for her it’s all about quantity over quality, she has no concept of money, she also opens gifts faster than her sister, though I try and get them to take it in turns.

Should I go and buy a couple more gifts for dd2? I don’t want to buy for the sake of it and I have spent enough on her. She breaks most things so the gifts I have got her are mainly Lego and meccano plus clothing items and art supplies. I can’t think what else to get her. Do I just hope she doesn’t notice her sister has more?

Stop me from twitching 😁

sorryiasked · 22/12/2019 10:55

@Lovemusic33 can you split the gifts into more than one present? Eg clothes, each item wrapped separately, colouring book and pens in two different parcels?
