I need to thank the OP who mentioned the Rapesco tape dispenser, its amazing. Used it today and cant believe how much easier it made wrapping the stack of presents. And also thanks to the OP for the polly pocket shopping mall for £12, its soooooo huge! cant believe I twiched on it but was too much of a bargain not too, I really was done and its so big, I have really no idea where it's going to live.

CheekyFuckersDontGetPastMe · 12/12/2019 21:11

jammiebammie I picked up a card pack in Aldi called what do you meme for £3.99 yeasterday.

gaggiagirl · 12/12/2019 21:21

Assistance required! We don't have a bath, we only have a shower and my DC love a novelty shower item. Recently I went to the big city and bought lush shower jelly, shower playdoh soap and shower bombs. I would like more of the same but without lush p&p and without having to travel hours to the nearest store. Can anyone recommend an alternative?.

sorryiasked · 12/12/2019 21:21

@Jammiebammie is it this one?

sorryiasked · 12/12/2019 21:28

@JBFletcherstypewriter some people buy for nursery staff, I personally never did.

Re your husband - how about nanoblocks (like mini Lego)

Lovemusic33 · 12/12/2019 21:30

gaggiagirl try theSoapstory.com, also boots have some soap dough, I think it’s by joules. There’s a few people selling soap dough on ebay too.

MartyDoc · 12/12/2019 21:35

Ok I realise I still need to buy for my goddaughter- she’s 9..last couple of years everything has been LOL..I only have boys so I’m not sure about girls!
Any recommendations ?! Budget £15 really. Pretty please? She’s bright, she likes dancing, mermaids (NOT unicorns) and crafty.

gaggiagirl · 12/12/2019 21:35

Lovemusic33 wonderful thank you!

Sneezein3s · 12/12/2019 21:47

Could anyone help, I need three gifts for lovely ladies in my team at work, they are all friends as much as colleagues so I’d like to get them something lovely each. They age between mid 40’s to late 50’s and two are non drinkers. My budget is £15 each but could stretch to £20 (don’t tell DH) any ideas would be really helpful thanks.

In return I can PM 20% off lookfantastic xx

sorryiasked · 12/12/2019 21:52

If anyone is still looking for ^(whispers)^ hampers our local garden centre had jute bags with goodies in, £20 each or 2 for £35

JBFletcherstypewriter · 12/12/2019 21:55

@sorryiasked ooh thank you so much, I’ll have a look at that now!

wafflethewonderdog · 12/12/2019 22:07

@JBFletcherstypewriter
I've bought for DD's nursery staff but only a token as there's a few of them. I've got them a lip balm (3 for 2 in asda) and a pack of nice paper mate pens (on offer in Asda too)

Justonedayatatime11 · 12/12/2019 22:12

Ooh, can I ask where/how the polly pocket mall was so cheap?

SmallAndFarAway · 12/12/2019 22:16

@ Justonedayatatime11, on Amazon. Camelcamelcamel is genius for things like that, you can set an alert and it might dip to that level again this time next year... or before!

recklessgran · 12/12/2019 22:34

Just popping on to say thank you to whoever recommended My Spike on here. It was a few threads back but I made a note of it for later with my grandson in mind. I'm blown away by the lovely personal customer service I've just received from there. I ordered a gift set with spice pouches but I couldn't see anywhere when ordering to select the spices. I just thought I'd get a random selection which would be fine with me. However, I've just had a lovely e-mail from the owner asking me which spices I would like. [Obviously I must have missed something on how to do this when ordering.] I highly recommend this company. [No, I'm nothing to do with them and had never heard of them until this thread.] Just lovely customer service right up there with the Brew Tea Company!

thaegumathteth · 12/12/2019 23:11

Purpletigers · 12/12/2019 23:30

Has anyone spotted any good deals on Dogman book sets or individual books?

Fantababy · 12/12/2019 23:30

To the poster who was looking for a red dragon, you can buy a soft toy version of the dragon from Room on the Broom, which is pretty scary!

We buy a big tub of chocs for DDs nursery workers. I'm a teacher, and we love sweeties in my staff base!

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 12/12/2019 23:37

jbfletcher I work in a nursery and whilst it's lovely to receive gifts I treasure cards with lovely words from parents much more. if you wanted to gift something a box of biscuits or nice teas/coffee are very gratefully recieved 😁
ottiline I didn't take much notice but it was little figures in a 2 pack - around the world maybe? and I think some stationary/rubbers.
martydocs my dds are 7 and 11 and love notebooks and gel pens. adult colouring books and scratch art sets. I personally would avoid smiggle as my eldest started to outgrow it around 10 also terrible quality for the price they charge!! flying tiger is great for stationary if you have one nearby. or build a bear - both mine love it in there :)

Jammiebammie · 13/12/2019 00:21

@sorryiasked yay that’s the one thank you! I’ve been watching it on amazon and it hasn’t budged from £27 for months. @CheekyFuckersDontGetPastMe is the one you picked up in Aldi the same as the one sorry linked to? Would be amazing if it was for £3.99, thanks!

unfortunateevents · 13/12/2019 00:59

My coffee clip and scoop was also refunded by Trouva, had an email from them thanking me for MY email (which I hadn't sent) and followed shortly by an email saying that they hadn't heard from the seller and so were refunding me. The email did have a £5 money off voucher for Trouva though but annoyingly the scoop still shows as for sale on the site! If anyone wants one, Amazon still have a couple of types for sale but not all guaranteed before Christmas.

tabbycat985 · 13/12/2019 05:43

Too faced site has 25% off everything with code 25OFF

RiseUp · 13/12/2019 06:37

Moana123 · 13/12/2019 06:45

Any White Company discounts? Or any suggestions on where to pick up a White Company candle cheaper? Thank you
