Thank you for the dressing gown recommendations, I will check out Primark and Sainsbury's.

Does anybody have a Next code?

Spartonian · 12/12/2019 18:03

Naked wine code

STHQ20

MeanMrMustardSeed · 12/12/2019 18:03

@GymSloth Ticket to Ride First Journey is an absolutely brilliant game and my six year old loves it. It’s our favourite family game by a mile. Lasts about 30 mins. Double is a quick game and is brilliant too, but is more in the realm of snap than a board game.

Spartonian · 12/12/2019 18:06

Couple of other codes

Can anyone help with a small, postable gift for a 2 year old and a 5 year old that can be bought on the high street? Not books. Could be joint or something each. Quite specific I know but I don't have kids and have had good advice off here previously so am hoping for some gems again!

Jfw82 · 12/12/2019 18:42

25% off site wide on Under Armour with code HOLIDAY25 valid til 19th

noodledoodler · 12/12/2019 19:15

@myfavouriterain doesn't hold as much charge as the iwoot one but still a nice wee gift for the price

wineoclockthanks · 12/12/2019 19:19

@tentative3 Does no books include sticker books? Most kids love them.

BlueSkyAtChristmas · 12/12/2019 19:24

@tentative3

Galt water magic would be perfect for the 2 year old.

Hama beads or aqua beads for the 5 year old

wibdib · 12/12/2019 19:24

@gymsloth Labyrinth is a fantastic game from 6-99 - and as there’s an element of chance the youngest have as much chance of winning as anyone else.

JBFletcherstypewriter · 12/12/2019 19:51

Hi everyone, it’s my daughters first Christmas at nursery and I was wondering is it customary to get something for the staff in her room? I wasn’t sure and have no one in RL to ask... many thanks

Also, looking for something for my DH , around the £20 mark just to finish what I’ve got him already... he’s so hard to buy for, he’s got no hobbies, he’s not into music, he doesn’t want any tat or novelty stuff and to be honest I don’t want to buy him any anyway.. I was thinking Lego architecture but I can’t seem to find any that fits in the budget, if anyone knows of any discounts on it please let me know, or if anyone has any other ideas?? Thank you!

tentative3 · 12/12/2019 19:57

Thank you for the suggestions so far! I will google, I don't know what Galt water magic is! Sticker books could probably be OK wineoclock, would they be ok for the 2 year old too?

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 12/12/2019 20:08

gymsloth my 7 year old loves payday and you can make it as short or long as you like. we also enjoy bugs in the kitchen and game of life junior.

tentative how about an orchard toys game each? they are quite small and the 2 together should go small parcel posted :)

I was in Poundland earlier they had unikitty lego blind bags, DC bombshells figures, lol bags, beanie boo figures, shopkins all for £1 each. would make lovely stocking fillers :)

woodwaj · 12/12/2019 20:17

Can anyone suggest a website to buy nice strong coffee?

wineoclockthanks · 12/12/2019 20:26

@tentative3, my boys loved them aged 2 with adult supervision - just realised that most books will have 'not suitable for under 3s symbol but we just used our common sense.

Maybe a colouring book and some crayons would be better for the 2 year old.

wineoclockthanks · 12/12/2019 20:29

Naked wins voucher attached (I hope!)

Jammiebammie · 12/12/2019 20:33

Has anyone seen the game ‘what do you meme’ cheaper than £27?

BadgerFace · 12/12/2019 20:39

Thanks for all the game suggestions, DD2 is nearly 4 and it sounds like we’re not too far away from being able to play lots of them so going on her birthday list!

gaggiagirl · 12/12/2019 20:41

www.diy.com/departments/kitchen/kitchen-cabinets/cabinet-units/DIY824279.cat niche and not remotely festive , but kitchen cabinets for less than £5!!!

winewolfhowls · 12/12/2019 20:45

Sorry if already mentioned but my coffee scoop with clip handle has been refunded. Gutted!

deeplybaffled · 12/12/2019 20:55

@woodwaj pact coffee are great and very good value imo

lolarabbit · 12/12/2019 20:55

@tentative3 - depending on how much you want to spend and what shops you have nearby, what about a shared gift of a set of hand puppets? Suitable for range of ages and light to post. Some from John Lewis here - could click and collect from Waitrose. I found a similar set but with 6 puppets In Argos.

0ttoline · 12/12/2019 20:56

nocuts what shopkins items were there in your Poundland, please?

tentative my 2yo also loves sticker books, as does my 5yo!

nickdrakeslovechild · 12/12/2019 20:56

@Spartonian try Sorel Joan boots. They keep going up and down in price at Amazon. Managed to get the black ones for £54 which was a bloody bargain last week. I have been wearing them constantly for dog walking, they are super warm and fully waterproof.

Fuckingfuckssake · 12/12/2019 21:02

Evening all, I have one present left to buy for DH, does anyone have a discount code for The Book Depository or Wordery please?
