I think I saw your post regarding Miller Harris and The Perfume society but have missed the post! 😥 The perfume boxes you were talking about appear to have gone! I need to buy for my Dh and he is an avid collector and wearer of cologne, aftershave etc. Plans can you suggest any more sites or possibilities for the sample boxes? I think there is one in Miller Harris but unsure if it is going to be suitable for him. He loves rich spicy scents and has lots of oud type fragrances. Thank you. X

@Kutsy There aren’t any male specific perfume boxes for sale on their website just now, but they do launch a couple each year. The following boxes I would say are unisex and may be suitable:

The Niche collection - there are quite a few woody / oudhy perfumes in here. Plus a couple of more floral, feminine ones (for you perhaps?!)

The new £35 collection has deluxe minis (some 30ml) of niche fragrances including 2 x molecules fragrances!! There are quite a few woody/ spicy / Oudh / amber ones in here. The 3 Floral Streets are definitely more female oriented but they are only 2ml samples.

If you can stretch to it then I would go for the £35 set as it represents fantastic value. These are high quality fragrances and you get a lot of mls for your money! 75% of the frags in this box are woody/ orientals.

@Kutsy ^ unfortunately neither of these boxes are in the sale! But nevertheless I can confirm that they are good quality and perfect for gifting (if the recipient doesn’t think perfume samples are easy to come by and free!!)

Just did a special detour to Tesco to get myself an advent calendar as I’m calendarless despite making a special one for DH and DC and they’re hardly reduced at all! £1 off some, £2 off some expensive ones- rubbish!

A bit of disappointment the Black Friday was for me. I was after four Lego sets and none of them were reduced. It would have been Xmas present for dh. I did however get Lego space bundle from John Lewis for ds.

It’s happened again.. ignored all the echo stuff as didn’t think I needed one.. now mil has asked for one 😭 I’ve missed the amazing deal haven’t I but I’d there’s still any decent deals available would be grateful if you could point me in the right direction

Ghds were on the amazon cyber Monday deals, no idea if it’s a good deal though sorry as I’m not sure what they normally cost, just caught my eye and I remember someone here was asking about ghd discounts.

Also loads of Fitbit deals on amazon, don’t know much about fitbits but they looked pretty good discounts to me.

Can anyone please recommend some good Christmas wall decorations. I don't mind if they are wreaths or garlands or stars, etc, just quite large and quite cheap. My kitten is eating her way through any decoration or light that she can get to and I need to get some that I can put up out of her reach! Thanks.

So disappointed! Ordered a photo calendar from Truprint which has arrived today. It’s tiny! I originally clicked a link to order a large one but somehow it’s ended up a5. The chat option online has been shocking and I am stuck with a very small, very expensive for what it is, useless calendar (wall calendar but can’t write on it as there’s no space).
Waiting for other things to arrive from them too which I am now not looking forward to :(
