I'm off 21st to 2nd Jan, so 12 days off including the weekends, I think it's my longest break yet (had to take 5 holiday days though). January will be depressing though, no days off again until Easter! Gin

Xmas day and boxing day, I can however work from home for two days over the xmas period.

I've got 2 weeks off, I'm very lucky. However this year is the first I will actually get paid for those 2 weeks, as I was put on a proper contract in July, after nearly 2 tears as a 'casual', so I had those 2 weeks off but wasn't getting paid for them, which was a bit of a killer! I dont actually feel like I need 2 weeks off but i work with schools, so we finish and go back when most of our schools so, so I'm not complaining!

None. NHS. We aren't allowed to take annual leave over the 2 week break. I'm working 24th,26th,28th,31st,1st,3rd,4th....all 12.5hr shifts.

I work term time only, so last day is Dec 20th and don’t go back until Jan 6th. Can’t wait!

Daddylonglegs1965 · 30/11/2019 20:16

LaserShark · 30/11/2019 20:23

I recently quit my job (teacher) and have forever off! I am so happy.

torthecatlady · 30/11/2019 21:21

We close on Friday 20th and reopen on Monday 6th, so it's a long (and welcome) break for me! I have to use 6 days of annual leave. Although DH will be working as normal for most of it.

This year has been completely shit so I'll be watching lots of tv, drinking, eating and also hoping to go away for a few days with a friend.
