How many days off do you get?

I'm off 21st to 2nd Jan, so 12 days off including the weekends, I think it's my longest break yet (had to take 5 holiday days though). January will be depressing though, no days off again until Easter!

I have so much annual leave left after a very busy year that I'm only actually working one day a week from now until the 20th and then off until January!

Well we get our standard 23 days leave per year, to use when we want. Other than that we're just closed the 2 days

I'm a vicar so crazy busy up to and including Christmas Day, but get boxing day off and then a light week just covering services and any funerals.

I will stop soon, maybe around the 6th, Dec, then start work again on the 3rd or 4th Jan. So a good 4 weeks. I am self employed and can't cope with the massive amount of online orders that happen at this time of year, so prefer to close up shop for a month.
I work 7 days a week for the rest of the year, sometimes 9 hours, a day, sometimes just 2 or 3,hours,so looking forward to the break.

Was lucky enough to nab the 18th-27th off, was happy to work over new year week

Finish on the 20th which is also the night of the Christmas party and then back on 2nd Jan. So nearly a fortnight for people to forget any of my bad behaviour at the party

I'm freelance so don't take work on over Xmas. Dh is off 20th December until 6th January.

16 days using 2 days annual leave :) work in energy and we work a little bit extra each day through the year to get the middle days off without using A/L.

I have boxing day and new years day off.

Self employed so hopefully finish 22nd until 6th jan. No holiday pay but I don't care, my work will be done by then I hope and we can have a nice break. DH off that time too

Used to work in retail so only got bank holidays, feel very fortunate now.

I’m off 13th December until the 6th January. Can’t wait.

6 days. Will be back in on New year's Eve and New year's day though

Dh and I both finish in 20th dec and return on 6th jan. Can't wait!!!

Dh also has two weeks.

We had originally planned to go to oz so dh booked the time off. We are going at easter instead but he still kept the holiday from work.

Im off from the 24th - 29th December. I’ve used annual leave for the 24th and the 27th though as we only close on Christmas Day and Boxing Day (weekends are not work days where I am) so I’m back in on Monday 30th with New Year’s Day off too.

Only ever Christmas day while working. I'm a student now, and I'm off from the 21st to January 27th. I am meant to be doing exam revision though...

I’m on mat leave, but if I was working we’d be closed from 24 Dec to 1 Jan and don’t need to take holiday for this (HE).
DH is working on the 24 and has taken holiday so not back until 2 Jan.

I finish on the 5th and go back on the 30th. I'm very very looking forward to it!

Finish 20th. Go back 30th. But then it’s Chinese New Year 3 weeks later and I get a week for that.

I work in a school so finish on the 20th Dec and back on the 6th Jan :)
