Morning!

New thread for the new day. Temperature is starting to drop again and it's going to be rather chilly for the weekend and the start of December!

Let's see if we need thread 9 or not! Xmas Grin

Morning.

Oh no Fluffy. Hopefully it's just a cold your DS has.
I've never tried Iceland's party stuff. I might take a look. I do like M&S but it's so expensive and my dc would be happy with a cocktail sausage and a slice of pizza.

I'm trying to resist the twitch today. I think I've only got dh left to buy to and that will only be a token, so he has something to open on Christmas Day. We'll spend no more than a tenner. We're going back to center Parcs when he is off in January (our free trip) so will spend the money there.

NoWordForFluffy · 29/11/2019 10:24

He was ok when he got up, apparently, so that's good news.

Just realised I forgot to say get well soon to Biddy. I hope you're feeling better now.

Mrs, your mum must be feeling better if she's annoying you!

I'm only getting mini quiches and chicken satay as I can't find the quiches anywhere else, Neros. The kids love them!

We're getting other bits from Tesco and Booths too, by the way!

Fluffy I've a few things from Tesco on my order. But I'm jealous of booths.

No quiches in Iceland. Sainsbury's had some though, so I got those. I'll go back for chicken satay skewers another day. Then I think my party food is sorted.

And yes, flouncy. All the cheese! 🧀🧀🧀

We're only just leaving our town. The train is tomorrow. It's a PI stay tonight and I'll be eating my own body weight in breakfast tomorrow!

We have 8 of those PiBs on our order too. The kids love the normal ones!

I hope to get my cheese from here cheese. Got dh the gift basket last year and it was so good.

I've had Sainsbury's lemon roulade and it was immense! I don't have much of a sweet tooth though, so I'll just get something from the bakery and make a few more mince pies.

NoWordForFluffy · 29/11/2019 17:46

That cheese shop looks amazing!

I'm making a range of cakes, biscuits and mince pies for Christmas. We don't need desserts though a box of mini cheesecakes would go down nicely!

Evening everyone Xmas Grin
I went to Mum's this morning, I did her shopping , sorted her phone, tablet , meds, house, food prep, showered her, swept the leaves up in the garden, did the washing hung it out and found & filled up and put her wooden lit up Xmas Hmm advent calendar out ready for Sunday. I then had to get every bloody piece of knitting she owns and has haphazardly started and measure the damn things , honestly they are hideous , l must sneak a few pics to show you all , you will think l am horrible but they are vile . Honestly it's like having a child ! l came home then to 4 loads of washing/drying/putting away and a partridge in a pear tree !She is loads better thought thankfully Smile
I have eaten like a Queen today, DH has done us all proud bless him smile. Sweet n sour pork & chips for Lunch & roast Turkey dinner it was gorgeous!
Despite searching l can't find anything l need or really want to buy from Black Friday .
I expect everything will break down now Xmas Grin
Have a great time Fluffy, glad DS is ok tonight Smile
Fanny we had Tesco's finest frozen roulade last year for Christmas afters , it was the raspberry & white chocolate and it was lovely Smile
Better shift have a good night sleep everyone Smile

Mincemeat is easy, flouncy! The one attached is bloody lovely too.

If you use the processor you barely need to touch the pastry, ever. Does your DH have colder hands? Utilise him!

Mrs, busy day! Your mum sounds like she's back on form!

But it is for food!

All he has to do is move the pastry from processor to bag, then split into 3 when it comes out of the fridge. Surely he can do that?!
