Thank you @Barbarara for the title!

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

20% of at ASOS with code OURTYPE, but only valid until 8am.

imsorryiasked · 12/11/2019 07:26

Actually, they have the Mr Men Night Before Christmas too.

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 12/11/2019 07:26

Cross post @RagingBall. There don't seem to be any exclusions apart from one per customer but it wouldn't work for me when I put two games in (it did for the kitchen I posted about upthread). Very odd Halloween Shock

BouquetOfRoses · 12/11/2019 07:27

Just got an email saying the Argos 20% off toys ends tomorrow (Wednesday)

LazyDaisey · 12/11/2019 07:31

@margaritasbythesea Selfridges do a Black Friday 20% off every year. Many of their higher end £££ luxury brands are excluded (who wouldn’t want 20% a diamond) and some have only 10%. Do compare shop as their prices are already marked up and often times items are cheaper elsewhere. I’ve had my eye on a £200 item and just found it in German eBay for £166 delivered.

LazyDaisey · 12/11/2019 07:32

Sorry German Amazon not eBay

newroundhere · 12/11/2019 07:33

@Reastie I can't work it out on Amazon either for the 2 for £7 kids books... I can't find a way to show the list of eligible books at all on the app, website is better but I still can't filter on children's books. Madness Confused

Daphine2004 · 12/11/2019 07:37

@Tigger83 maybe tickets for a local attraction? Babies usually go free, but it’ll pay for the parents to take him. We bought zoo season tickets when our son was that age after asking for clothes or money at Christmas. We went so often it really did pay for itself.

They may have a sea life centre or something else which you could buy a gift voucher for?

SlayingDragons · 12/11/2019 07:42

@ZIGGY911 what about cooperative games? We love the ones by Gamewright. (In fact - we haven’t a bad game from Gamewright yet and we have quite a few)

Forbidden Island, Forbidden Desert, Forbidden Sky are the 3 cooperative ones we have. They are all good and get progressively harder (Island is the easiest, Sky is the hardest)

andi76 · 12/11/2019 07:43

30% off the Harry Potter stuff at Typo here

Tigger83 · 12/11/2019 07:52

@Daphine2004 thanks for the lovely idea but the mum is definite he'd like a toy as she hasn't really bought him any and just been using hand me downs!

ZIGGY911 · 12/11/2019 07:53

I’ll look at the game suggestions thank you. This year is so hard.

XmassyMumsy · 12/11/2019 07:53

Hi lovely Xmas barginers

I am looking for ideas for a present for someone who struggles with sleep.

Thinking eye mask
Maybe something lavender

Any ideas greatfully recieved

RagingBall · 12/11/2019 07:54

Hi Paddington- really strange, I don't have any games in my basket! Maybe it's certain codes?

buckeejit · 12/11/2019 07:56

Thanks @ConstantlyCooking - guess my only option is to hope there's a decent flash sale on the hot choc then! Good to know if I take the plunge I'm not likely to get stung by a reduction straight after

RJnomore1 · 12/11/2019 08:02

I am thinking the baileys may not have been from here...it was on the baileys website and I think they are all gone. I think you’re getting a free reindeer when you buy baileys at Asda though

Lc2006 · 12/11/2019 08:03

@XmassyMumsy I don't know how much you want to spend but this is supposed to be really good this works

noodledoodler · 12/11/2019 08:05

@ZIGGY911 Another vote for One Night Ultimate Werewolf.
We also love Pandemic which is a collaborative game. Ticket to Ride is also supposed to be good (on my Xmas list). I'm off to look up Forbidden Island.
