Thank you @Barbarara for the title!

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

I'd totally recommend //www.sheepskin.co.uk for moccasins (and anything else you could possibly desire in sheepskin!) I have some of their sheepskin cushion covers on the sofa and they are so lovely and luxurious and ridiculously cheap at £17.99 each www.sheepskin.co.uk/product/ivory-sheepskin-cushion-cover/

I came home today to:
Yellow fingerless gloves (£1.48), four Xmas teaspoons (£1.16 I think) and my free baileys miniature and chocolate reindeer.

Love it.

Is 44 too old for a thread baby next Christmas?

@OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny - that was the one, thank you for reminding me. I can steal some ideas from it even if it's not available to buy!

@hypodermicnurdle - perfect, thank you. My next question was going to be about recommendations for places to buy soap so fantastic timing Smile

@Bryna which deodorant balm do you recommend? Is the smell really strong?

Report
Bryna · 11/11/2019 22:18

@PaddingtonBearHardStare I use both the vanilla and manuka (which is a 'warm' scent) and the lemon and geranium ( which is a fresh scent), both from their 'clean' range, I cannot say about the others but they aren't strongly scented at all, i struggle with highly perfumed toiletries, but love nice smells!

I've just looked at my past orders and they did have a promo last year around Black Friday, so it may be worth waiting for a week or two, if you decide to order ( natural deodorant )

andi76 or anyone else knowledgeable - with the magazine subscriptions when do you cancel? Do you have to wait until you have received the last issue in the trial period?

Buckeejit A friend had temp job in hotel chocolat and the staff don't get a discount on velvetisers even though they get 50% off every thing else. However, the general codes you are sent with the loyalty card work and they often have really good bundle deals.

Got a few wee freebies at my local shop, lunch cool bags. Thought I could make up a gift for teachers with the lunchbag, trolley token (also got bargainous ones in b and m), re usable shopping bag, meal planner pad and shopping list pad. On the look out for best bargain for re-usable coffee cups, I have the lovely coffee bags to add. Any other ideas please? Cost so far is just over £4, £6/7 would be perfect,

www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07K2ZHR3Q?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21

They’re 73p plus £1.30 delivery just now. Not the best quality but cute and fine to use once a year.
