Thanks @VividImagination for title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Alas we don’t have Costco membership and I’m assuming it’s still a members only thing? We were members years ago.

I’m looking for a window vacuum if anyone knows of any bargains please? I’m sure I remember in a pp a karcher one on offer.

eliope · 04/11/2019 08:48

reastie my m&s fleece blankets are very good quality. Survives den making, camping trips and still really good condition and snuggly.

Reastie · 04/11/2019 08:51

PinkDaydreams I gor the karcher one last year after reading rave reviews on mn. I find it useless and don’t bother using it, I can’t see why people like it so much!

Eliope thank you, I have a leftover M&S voucher from last year so that might work! Are they a good thickness?

Purpletigers · 04/11/2019 08:52

The best fleece blankets are the ones in M and s . They’re £45 full price but there should be another 20% off before Christmas . I bought a second one half price at an m and s outlet store .
I noticed they come in two sizes now but the biggest one is worth the extra expense .

eliope · 04/11/2019 08:52

reastie yes lovely and thick, hopefully they haven't changed them

Purpletigers · 04/11/2019 08:53

These are the ones we have

PinkDaydreams · 04/11/2019 08:59

@Reastie oh no, I was hoping that it would be really good!
Any recommendations for a window vac then please? Condensation in the house is driving me mad, even with a dehumidifier and windows open. I use a squeegee each morning and kitchen roll but hate the waste of the kitchen roll (poor trees)

Canklesforankles · 04/11/2019 09:01

Book people 25% off with ROCKET25

I just ordered with 20% off 😬

AstrosFan · 04/11/2019 09:05

Any recommendations for a good quality beanbag? It must be fluffy and I’d prefer a larger size one if possible - child is 9 but I’d like it to last into teen years. Really want a good quality one (Actually - what I really want is our Lovesac back but as we sold it in the US 5 years ago, that isn’t going to happen Sad) I don’t want one that’s a bit pathetic in terms of fullness. Budget is £40-£50 and would love a bargain obviously!

noodledoodler · 04/11/2019 09:24

A previous poster had asked about purple le creuset, groupon have some cast iron sets which might
be worth a look

PinkSpring · 04/11/2019 09:27

Can't see these mentions and have gone back a few pages, but Argos has children's snuggle blankets half price. There is a unicorn, panda, cat, skeleton and dinosaur for £6 each. Basically a blanket with a hood.

I got two yesterday.

Seems to be plenty in stock around here at least

BigmouseLittlehouse · 04/11/2019 09:30

If anyone spots any disneystore discounts I’d be very grateful. Didn’t notice my order didn’t go through yesterday and now the tinkerbell code isn’t valid 😬.

Ditto anymore Lakeland codes.

Apologies no bargains spotted today!

livingthegoodlife · 04/11/2019 09:33

What do people think of November's gin club gin? It's Cambridge gin. I'm looking to order a set but might wait for December's box? Bit risky?

SheStoodInTheStorm · 04/11/2019 09:35

JINGLE gives 25% off at The Works, min £10 spend.

If you have time to browse then you can find some lovely things and great stocking fillers.

BigmouseLittlehouse · 04/11/2019 09:37

@livingthegoodlife i have received the November box. Looks a really interesting gin and the tonics are from the same company so looks good as a gift. Only thing I would mention is one of the cocktail mixer you get is called ‘bonfire’ or something - so November themed if that makes sense?

livingthegoodlife · 04/11/2019 09:42

Thanks @BigmouseLittlehouse maybe I'll wait... A Christmas themed gin would be cool if they are going to follow a theme.

To the PP looking for fleece blanket, I know you've ruled out Primark but I just bought one of their "luxury" blankets and it's really good. V thick and soft. It was £12 and wrapped with a ribbon rather than their standard blankets which are £6.

TheGirlWhoLived · 04/11/2019 09:44

Oooh I have a karcher window vac and I love it! Makes getting rid of condensation a breeze and the battery lasts forever. There’s usually lots on Black Friday on amazon so I’d hold out for that

catanddogmake6 · 04/11/2019 10:05

@Reastie Sainsbury’s had lovely throws in the other day. Bought one for DD and it is sooo soft. DH threatened to steal it (I can’t emphasis how disinterested in such things he normally is). Maybe with next week’s double up on nectar it might be a bargain.

NoGravyForYou · 04/11/2019 10:13

@Reastie we have an Aldi Sherpa one that I bought for DP in the run up to Christmas several years ago, they usually still do them. Think I paid €25 for it at the time. They are huge and soft.

PinkDaydreams · 04/11/2019 10:20

Can anyone recommend a shape sorter please for a two year old? Preferably wooden. My son hasn’t got one and would like to buy him one to develop thinking skills! I’ve looked in charity shops but can’t find any.
I’ve seen a Hape one on amazon but wondering if anyone can personally recommend a decent quality one.
Thanks all!

Dolphintrainer · 04/11/2019 10:22

@pinkdaydreams I have a karcher one too, and I love it. Very easy to use and good results. I have this one: Kärcher Window Vac WV2 Premium With Accessories

unexpectedthird · 04/11/2019 10:26

@PinkDaydreams we have a wooden Melissa and Doug shape sorter. It was bought when DD (now 7) was little and is waiting for the baby to be old enough. It's still in great condition.

catanddogmake6 · 04/11/2019 10:26

@PinkDaydreams have you tried these on the windowsills. I know you say you have a dehumidifier but perhaps these in addition will help especially if next to the problem. One has made such a difference in our bathroom. It does take a couple of days to start working. Also not too expensive to try. I also think for what you want it for the Karcher Vac would work. I quite like mine but usually cleaning windows you don’t have that much water so doesn’t make a huge difference but you do so that’s exactly what you want it for. Would wait for a deal if you can.
