@Whoopstheregomyinsides a chromebook runs through the chrome browser as it’s operating system (as opposed to windows or Mac OS). I have one myself and it’s very good, but you can’t get the full version of office because everything runs online- so you use google docs etc instead of word. You could use office online and that would work across both computers, but that doesn’t have the full functionality of proper office software.

Word documents I’ve found largely covert between google docs and word just fine, so long as you’ve not got any excessively fancy formatting

Someone mentioned engraved cheese boards and I really would would not recommend one where the engraved bit is where or close to where you put the cheese.
We got one last year and it is a lovely idea but cheese all just gets stuck in the engraved bit, and you end up spending longer trying to scrub the cheese out of the engraved bits than you did eating the cheese.

Someone bought us one.
It was really awful. Couldn't send it to the charity shop as personalised. Couldn't burn it as too heavily oiled and so it went in the bin.

Person 1 is male. Does not drink alcohol or coffee. Is on a diet so chocolate and anything food wise is probably not a good idea (he's done really well so far so wouldn't want to sabotage it!). He's single. Into photography. He's a terrible timekeeper. He's a vaper. I know nothing else about him.

Person 2 is female and I know even less about her. I know she's Irish catholic and in her 50s. Is not interested in makeup or jewellery as never wears any. Is not into the latest fashion styles either. Very much a tshirt and jeans lady.

Can anyone recommend a reasonable beginners Origami kit for DH? I've been looking at different ones but they are either realllly advanced or mainly aimed at children or are all flowery. I think he'd enjoy making animals and maybe 1 or 2 flowers but not exclusively flowers iyswim. It won't be his main gift so under £15 if poss.

username for the male does he seem interested in any particular films/t.v. series that you could get some merchandise from? otherwise how about a voucher for cinema/Netflix or similar? or does he listen to music? maybe a pair of headphones, Amazon had some of the fake airpod ones for £14.99 the other day. is he into fitness? maybe some gym/running related stuff? and the lady - my mum is in her 50s she loves a nice bunch of flowers and a candle. or fluffy socks, warm slippers, nice gloves. all things most people use and can be pretty generic but still nice. I would avoid scarves/hats unless you know what colours/style she likes.
