@UrbanMage regarding the chocolate bark, I based it on this Ina Garten recipe but just used dried cranberries, dried cherries and lightly toasted pecan nuts instead of the fruits and nuts she uses. it was extremely delicious and super easy to make

@Whoopstheregomyinsides , I mentioned Chrome Books. They pretty much have to be connected to the internet to work, as you run everything online

you don't use windows, word, excel etc. But you can use google docs and google sheets, the google versions online for free. if you were saving nuclear power station codes (say) or something else super secret you probably wouldn't want to trust it to google's cloud, but it would be fine for homework etc.

I love my chrome book and would really recommend one for a bit of light word processing and internet browsing.

jammiebammie for the boys do they have a console? if so could you get a skin for the controller? or I saw on local Facebook pages personalised controller holders not sure if they are on yours or where you might find them. or a pencil case/wallet/gym bag? maybe from hype if you can find a code?

and for the couple's how about a home movie hamper? a dvd, big bag of popcorn, suitable treats and a bottle of wine or beers. the beer subscription was pretty cheap if you could split between them. or maybe a cosy hamper - fleece blanket, candle, some hot chocolate and marshmallows. Or a matching set of mugs, primark had some (Disney, Harry potter) or I'm sure other places do them too.

Amazon has a lovely cheeseboard with serving set that can be engraved (I've purchased as a gift to my parents from my DC) £12.99 I'm not sure how to do links but if you search it is easily found.
