Fanny l just decided a long time ago that life is too damn short to iron clothes and clean the bloody oven. I don't cook fatty stuff at all much tbh in the oven so there is no fat splashes or terrible black marks. Those self cleaning things are useless they just have horrible bitty things in the bottom of the oven and l think it's just another thing to clean up , PAH! BAH! HUMBUG!

Fanny, I have even got a plastic dome cover for the microwave
I hear all these tips for using a small amount of white distilled vinegar mixed with 7 parts of water to clean everything known to woman and l say l raise you a bottle of bleach and caustic soda because my stains are embedded like concrete

fluffy I’m glad the rain held off for you, we’ve had no such luck here, unfortunately.

I love firework displays but I’m having to stay at home with Ddog this year and DH will take the DC. He doesn’t cope well with fireworks, we’ve tried everything, the vets even gave us tablets but that hasn’t worked bless him.

This is the jumper that I got for my DDs and I and the Star Wars one is for DS. DH has a fabulous Santa one that he got last year. I may also have a Mrs Santa one but we look like Howard and Hilda

We have an iron. It used to be my gran's and I was given it 11 years' ago. I get it out to wunderweb and iron my cross stitches! I might get a new one next year when DD goes into school shirts. Maybe!

Morning. It's a bit dank and foggy today, but with blue sky behind it! Hopefully it'll clear soon!

It's a tidying house and doing homework kind of day here. Exciting!

It is eerily calm here , no wind at all (last night was rain/wind)

I try and to for a short walk but it knackers me . I could walk to my GP surgery in 7 minutes when I was in full sail pregnancy with DS (admittedly that was 20 years ago) but last week it took me 20 minutes !
Need to improve my stamina and avoid people with cplds at the same time

I reckon more fireworks tonight then a random few days over the next week . Some of the big displays down here are on the 9th.

Need to send DH up into the loft (again) I'm sure DD bedding is there but he couldn't find it

Dd and I are watching strictly and Dh has taken ds to football. The kitchen is a mess (as I wasn't here yesterday ) so need to sort that and stuff ready for back to school tomorrow. Bleurgh. Hopefully a Christmas film later! Plus a shepherds pie (mine with cauliflower mash).

I've made Yorkshires and I'm doing some chilli jam later, once I've been and bought another bottle of cider vinegar from Aldi!

The mist is clearing nicely now and it's crisp and sunny. Lovely autumn morning!

Kitchen and sitting room blitzed and low carb bread rolls in the oven. Just need to sort the washing and I might have a relaxing ish afternoon....

Similar story here Wreck - last load of washing has just been hung out, kitchen and bathroom have been blitzed. Just putting away washing. Will hoover and change bedding then going to FILs for lunch and wine

DS’s football was cancelled, the pitch was bogged over. Thank heavens. Ifs very cold here but clear and sunny, if it stays like this we shall go for a walk later on.

The weather is a bit odd here. We've had a few showers. I've been out delivering election leaflets and got a bit damp. I'm home now though.

It's turned out really lovely here sunny and blue skies and no rain and mild lovely change
