The Bothy one will never get done. The white tree should as it's just white thread on blue background. The Snowman ones are presents for this year.

Definitely give your hands a break. They sound so sore. Xmas Sad

Sorry I’ve missed the chat for a few days all- been rushed off my feet with work!
Hope you’re all well. Seen the JL ad... I don’t know about it! I don’t think it’s as good as previous years. What did you all think? (Sorry if this has been discussed- I haven’t read back yet.)

Feeling a bit overwhelmed with how fast time is going now... so much left to do!

Evening everyone Xmas Grin
Been hectic again today , up early to Mums to get her showered , dressed and breakfasted and down the DR'S by 10 to 10 , Before l went l made a shepherds pie and a bolognaise , took shepherds pie up for Mums lunch. Bloods done for Mum then had to wait an hour to see the Dr ! Never mind they were so busy . The Dr said Mum's legs were bad, she said she didn't know what else she could do except see what the swabs result is on Weds, carry on with the Flucloxacillin for now, l have to ring her on Weds afternoon. She said she didn't want to send Mum into Hospital because Mum is so at risk of HAI and l totally agreed with her. Mum's immune system can't be very good and it's nothing to do with her Blood sugars because her BS control is excellent , it was normal last time on just one Metformin a day . I really don't know where to turn except l may ask the Dr if the tissue viability Nurse can help if there is no change on Weds. It is very worrying .
Anyway l came home and sorted the presents into bags for different ppl so l can start to pack them now Xmas Hmm
Popped in this afternoon to see my NDN , have been round twice today , he hasn't been very well with a UTI and felt cold so we went round and cranked his CH up Grin had a cuppa wth him and sorted him out. Have been so busy l haven't even seen THE interview Hmm
Anyway what has everyone been up to today ? Smile
Fluffy you have been x stitching like a whirling dervish Smile
Chocolate glad you had good news re your Sis Smile
Wreck your plans for a Christmas lights trip sounds wonderful Xmas Grin
Fanny , l hope you don't get the damn bug from DH and your poor hands bless you Flowers
Hope l haven't missed anyone out, have a good evening everyone Smile

Hi all, ok! So I started dating a guy in September 2019. He is such a gentleman and very different to my last long term relationship. Anyway we have met up every weekend since then, going for food and drinks etc. I have two little girls and he has a boy. I was treated quite badly in my last relationship and this guy has been single (but has dated others) for four years. Anyway I kind of mentioned that I feel like a bit of a weekend hook up. However nice I am treated by him. I feel like I give him my time, we are intimate and then another week goes by!! He messages me everyday. He has said he misses me and in the weekend he said he ‘thinks he could’ fall in love with me (what does that even mean!) anyway we are nearing the 3 month mark and I am not looking for marriage or anything but I am so confused with what we have here! He is happy to say he is dating someone....but I somehow feel like a convenience! I just want your opinions, because I can feel that I am going to have the conversation with him very soon. My time is precious and I really don’t want to develop feelings for someone who is not looking for the same thing!

Mrsmadevans · 18/11/2019 20:23

Fanny l didn't think of that , you are right! l will ring the DN's tomorrow , they are the ones who asked the TVN before for me .
Thank you m'dear Flowers

Mrsmadevans · 18/11/2019 20:25

Umm Misty l am not sure you are on the right thread but fwiw, l think you are rushing things m'dear Flowers

WreckTangled · 18/11/2019 21:12

OMG Wreck but he's so gorgeous you lucky thing Smile

NoWordForFluffy · 18/11/2019 22:12

Mrs, sorry your mum's legs are bad. I hope they sort them soon.

I like your dress from last night. Bargain for £15!

Good luck with the E45, flouncy!

Mrs, I'm desperate to get this cross stitch done. I've done the rest of the grey border tonight, so that's ticked off. There's not so much in this bit so I should be able to rattle through!

Fluffy thank you m'dear , am thinking of asking to see the dermatologist re Mum's legs as well as the TVN , someone must be able to help. The dress is a lovely red colour, it isn't dark maroon like the pic shows Smile
I did have a bargain ! Xmas Grin
You will be finished very soon l can't wait to see it in a frame it is so pretty , l couldn't do it , l would have pricked myself so much and got blood all over the x stitch Xmas Grin
Off to Goldcliff tomorrow, l need a fix of calm Grin
Have a good night sleep everyone Smile

Mrsmadevans · 19/11/2019 06:06

36 🤪👏
Can hardly believe it 🤗
Hard frost out today, been awake since 4, just can't sleep 🙄.
Watching Poirot now 😄
Off to Goldcliff later😄
Have a lovely day everyone 😀

NoWordForFluffy · 19/11/2019 06:22

It's bloody freezing out there (I've hung some washing out!).

Enjoy Goldcliff, Mrs.

I got so much done last night on the cross stitch and as it's not got a huge amount in this panel (are the top left corner to compare) it should be fast.

I'll have a framing session when the two Snowman ones are done. Xmas Smile

Not so as I noticed in the garden. I'll know more when I go out. It's often foggy between here and Liverpool!

I'm glad your hands have improved.

You lot are always up so early Grin

Flouncy he's very fluffy and weighs over 7kg! He's massive. He also thinks he's a dog and follows people round. He runs up to the car when we get home too.

I think there's a heavy frost here too but I'm still in bed Grin

TheWoollybacksWife · 19/11/2019 06:50

-2 here and I'm on the early station run once I get my backside into gear and out of bed. Not sure about fog.

-2 here too woolly thankfully I'd parked under the trees so no de icing as I had to run to catch the train (I am bambi's less coordinated sister on ice)
Love the big fluffy cat! We have a farty black lab - she is lovely but sheds black hairs constantly

Off to the office this morning - leaving DH to get the snotty two to breakfast club, they are both at the end of their bug, just cough/snot which will be all over their sleeves later Envy

Keep warm everyone and watch out for ice
