Thank you Fluffy. It's not the one with the blue, I went for this one in the hope it would be faster for me. It just has one ear, a few odd stitches, outline and gold stars to go. If I have enough thread left I may attempt some kind of border myself though.
Yours looks lovely - it must use so much concentration though, all the fiddly bits and colour changes!

Which l do like because it is in Llandaff which is a lovely place , l love the cathedral

I have to say, none of them fill me with excitement from the pictures.

The first one needs a fair bit of decorating and doesn't have much of a garden to say at 3-bed you'd expect it to be a family home. That's probably why it's been on for so long!

The kitchen in the flat looks poky and I can't see that it gets any natural light.

There doesn't seem much to the last one, for the money. I have a skewed view of house prices, though - I live in one of the cheapest parts of the country and bought at the best time!

This isn't the best time for the housing market, though. Unless she really needs to move, she might be better waiting until after Christmas.

Firefly girl thank you m'dear , have to say l totally agree with you, they are not the best, l would not even take a second glance at them normally but there is not much there to look at and l don't even want her to leave home , Wahhhhh !

Oh Mrs - I can't see the last one for some reason. The house looks like it would need a bit of work to bring it up to date. The flat is just a blank canvas - did you watch the Design Masters series that was on a few weeks ago as they did some on blank boxes which could maybe provide inspiration? Depends how much work your DD wants/is able to do

Been awake for hours DH snoring , got up in the end 😁 only for him to come down after me 🙄. His sniffing is driving me mad 🙄 .

As its her first home - think of all the reasons why it may not sell on. Dodgy area etc
What is around the flat? Looks like developments in front? If that is more central and it's 4th floor, I'd be more tempted by the flat tbh. Depends what the service/maintenance fee is per month though. It has the least to do maintenance and diy wise

I love watching LLL - I'm always amazed that Kirstie only wears dresses, never trousers (in her regular life not just in the show)

I've been awake for ages too. I decided to be productive with my time and order the photo calendars finally. Should've done it weeks ago so we had them to take home with us last weekend. Ah well, done now!

The prices are cheap compared to my way hence why I will never be able to buy! You can get an ex council three bed terraced for £300k or a two bed retirement flat for £360k there isn't much about at the moment so doesn't seem a good time to buy or sell.

Wow gorgeous! We are going out to to a PTA run. My dad is doing it. He always comes second or third. There will be cakes so I'll buy one for the dc each then home to the mountain of washing.

Our washing was out overnight! We got two loads dry yesterday and then DH did another as soon as the kids got home from school so their uniforms got done in good time. It'll be brought in before it rains.

We have fresh bread this morning. We left the bread maker doing its thing overnight!

I wish l could stop her from looking till after. Christmas but it seems like the Cardiff housing market is just mental. Darlows expected Dd2 to get into a bidding war after seeing the house once for 10 mins at night!
I feel like she is rushing things. I want to say to leave it till after Brexit . She won't listen though 😒

Wreck your area sounds mental ! Those prices are astronomical! Thank God you have a lovely house to live in , your back garden is especially lovely backing into the fields like it does. How much that would be worth is mind-blowing 🤪

I've decided against the allotment. Way too cold and there's nothing pressing to do, so no point freezing myself to death!

We've had the first frost of the year.

It's freezing mist outside now, so think we will also stick close to home. I want to start sorting DS's toys ahead of next month, and we might trial making stained glass biscuits. And maybe swimming later.

We've had about ten frosts already this winter. We have to leave soon and it's still only 3°. Hope my dad is bringing the dog as that'll keep me entertained I'm not an outdoorsy person

It's our first too. We don't get them much on the coast.

It's bastard cold though. We're just making stew and soup before thinking about going to Dobbies after lunch.
