I love the photo cushion idea and the photo mug, thank you wise mumsnetters! Glad I posted now Flowers

BunnyBerries · 29/10/2019 14:16

@Sneezein3s Oh I'm glad it helped someone else, happy you got some Smile I think you got in there just in time, as they appear to have gone up to £27 each on there now!

PinkDaydreams · 29/10/2019 14:16

Table top Christmas tree is also a great idea! Think I may get one of those for my mum too as she’s a bit of a Scrooge and doesn’t put up any decorations.

LikeSilver · 29/10/2019 14:25

@Sneezein3s I never go to Costco but yes probably. We got ours from Very I think.

TheGlaikitRambler · 29/10/2019 14:45

Thanks Reastie, I'll start there.

PaddingtonBearPumpkinstare · 29/10/2019 15:23

Hot Wheels advent calendar down to £9.99

IJustWantToWearDungarees · 29/10/2019 15:41

If anyone's feeling gutted about having missed the Bloomsbury illustrated Harry Potter deal, I've just ordered a copy of the illustrated Philosopher's Stone for 10.34 with free delivery from Wordery.

VividImagination · 29/10/2019 15:42

Thank you @ I’ve just bought 3 dove sets for my nephews. Unfortunately I was charged £5 for delivery but I still think it’s quite a good buy as I normally allow £10 each and often go over trying to get the right thing. I will now need to find similar for my niece.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 29/10/2019 15:45

Another tip for Grandparents is a bird feeder or bird table for the garden, maybe with a book on garden birds so they can identify the birds that it attracts.

If they don't have a garden you can buy the feeders that stick to the outside of the window.

£8.98 echo dots are back on Amazon

andi76 · 29/10/2019 15:55

Amazon echo dot

homeworkery · 29/10/2019 16:02

How do I get the dot when I also have prime? Sad

PaddingtonBearPumpkinstare · 29/10/2019 16:06

@homeworkery do you already have Music Unlimited? It's for new subscribers

Happiness25 · 29/10/2019 16:07

@Vividimagination. I wonder why you were charged delivery on the 3 for 2 Dove offer? I wasn’t (thank you, @DillieDoily) and it’s showing as free postage now.
Perhaps it depends on where you live, or maybe it was an offer which went and is now back again.

IdleBet · 29/10/2019 16:07

andi76 thanks for the echo dot tipSmile

user1573334 · 29/10/2019 16:08

Thank you! @andi76 I managed to grab one, yay!

Asda have this bargain Playdoh set for £4.95 that I haven't seen available elsewhere anywhere and isn't even at a sale price, it is however half the price of similar size sets. I got it for mine to share now to keep them quiet this afternoon during half term and it's certainly worth a fiver! My 6 year old has been making lots of burgers and writing menus.

I am such a 🐑! Thank you andi, I also got one, very pleased as I've wanted one for ages but couldn't pay full price.

Love this thread Smile

VividImagination · 29/10/2019 16:24

@Happiness25 probably as we are “Scottish Highlands”. Generally I don’t buy from anyone who charges extra for delivery and it’s probably in the advert somewhere. I still think it’s a good buy.

Ive bought the ecco dot. It seemed like a good deal but ......... can anyone tell me what it does and why I need it?

Bryna · 29/10/2019 16:24

I have a £10 off first order code for Bloom and Wild if anybody would like it?

mincepiesfordays · 29/10/2019 16:28

Might've been mentioned already but TopCashBack are doing 15% off Boden, and a 25% off and Free delivery on orders over £30 with code 9Z4T...

Also, does anyone know if GHDs are likely to be reduced on Black Friday?

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 29/10/2019 16:32

Argh how do you get the echo dot at that price. It comes up straight away but when I click on my colour choice it goes to £34.99. How much is it with the clock?
