Thanks @buckeejit for title.

Morning all!
Does anyone happen to know if the wooden toys are in store in Aldi yet please? Ive seen a few bits but don’t fancy walking 45 mins there for them not to be in store yet! The walk home is a killer.....uphill all the way!

vjg13 · 29/10/2019 07:24

Lookfantastic have 20% off all gift sets for the next 2 days.

vjg13 · 29/10/2019 07:24

Oops code is TREAT2

Allhallowseve · 29/10/2019 07:25

@pinkdaydreams Aldi deliver I bought the wooden theatre / shop and it was free delivery which I thought was great.

PinkDaydreams · 29/10/2019 07:31

@Allhallowseve thank you! I just seen that the estimated dispatch date is Thursday and also the ‘try in store’ is the same too. You’ve saved me a wasted journey! Flowers

Junobug · 29/10/2019 07:34

@ASpookyUsername I have 2 children with eczema and suffer from psoriasis myself and love Childs Farm products. If you buy them individually, they are regularly 1/3 off. If you wanted something fancier, Weleda calendula is great. But as someone else has pointed out, different babies react to different things so it won't be a completely safe buy.

LazyDaisey · 29/10/2019 07:47

@JaneyJimplin I found some Christmas and Halloween dw candles and posted about it. I forgot to update that they were absolutely shite!!! I got a candy corn Halloween one which was fantastic. I got a eucalyptus one that was - ok but nothing to write about. And I got a couple of each of two adorable winter ones - candy cane and one that smelled like a pine tree. The candy cane one I burned for 2 hours and it didn't smell like anything! Total rubbish. Tk Maxx very kindly refunded it all including the one that was lit. I was really chuffed with them because stores usually never accept a lit candle return. I don’t know why the hit/miss or whether I just lit a defective candle, but as I had planned to give them as gifts too... had to return them ☹️

AgnesNaismith · 29/10/2019 07:58

@lancslass17 there are a few on wowcher much less than £100 (long time lurker & weighted blanket obsessive)

Also thank you to the person who put the Lakeland voucher up, I bought my Christmas table linen!

Justonedayatatime11 · 29/10/2019 08:00

lancslass17 if you can pm me I may be able to help

Allhallowseve · 29/10/2019 08:02

@PinkDaydreams no probs I was chuffed too. I’m pregnant and didn’t fancy the trip there carrying it either , free delivery was even better.
I just need some puppets now to go with it!

JaneyJimplin · 29/10/2019 08:04

@LazyDaisey thanks for the update!

LetMeLayAmongTheStars · 29/10/2019 08:13

@Mammyofonlyone keep an eye on here as Argos have been doing random discount codes on different days.
Was it the chad valley marble run you were after?
We have the galt one, we’ve had it for years and is still going strong, both DCs play regularly with it and I would recommend, it’s £18 on Amazon at the moment, I know it’s a bit more than the chad valley one but IME chad valley toys can be a hit and miss, they do have some lovely bits but it’s not always well made.

LetMeLayAmongTheStars · 29/10/2019 08:14

Can someone remind me how to make the links small please Confused completely forgot how!

Trumpton · 29/10/2019 08:22

Hiya everyone - these frosty mornings are making me feel very festive!

Can anyone help, my youngest DD has asked for a ‘Barbie House’. My elder daughter had a Barbie branded plastic house and it caused her so much stress as it was flimsy and fell over and bits broke off all the time, I can’t remem how much I paid but it wasn’t cheap. Can anyone recommend an alternative maybe wooden or at least more substantial. Looking to spend up to £60ish. TIA

Sorry for the essay Shock

hellhoundhere · 29/10/2019 08:39

Someone was looking for lava lamps aaaaages ago - there are some in Argos now reduced to £6.66, available in blue and pink if that's any good to anyone?

DianaPrinceRocks · 29/10/2019 08:48

Not particularly Christmas-y, but if these Ocado vouchers would be useful to anyone then PM me for the codes. 30% off your first grocery shop + Free deliveries for 3 months. The T&Cs seem a bit strict though...

In-laws have decided to do secret Santa & I've gotten BIL (of course the only person I hadn't bought for yet🙄) Any suggestions would be great, he's a teacher, likes football & music. Our budget is £50

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 29/10/2019 09:03

Bargain set of hair chalk - £2.99 and free delivery. Can't vouch for quality, but could be a fun gift for a tween?
