@lifelongfrugaleer - I’d love the Lakeland voucher if still available?

Sadly no bargains to share - you are all too quick!

NoWordForFluffy · 27/10/2019 09:52

Nectar double up changed last year to make it a maximum amount per card (we have two as well as DH's has a linked one). BUT, you can now spend it all in one category, when it used to be £20 per category. I think it's better now.

unkindnessofravens · 27/10/2019 10:01

@IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts my DS is a similar age and I feel your pain. He enjoys drawing and crafts, often Minecraft related mind you, so how about a big box of art materials?

NeedMoreTea · 27/10/2019 10:05

@Shitfuckoh Thanks, in that case I won't get the playmobile calendar (even though it's a bargain). There are playmobile 1,2,3 calendars on Amazon but they're £22 & £24. I'll have a look at the happy land calendar.

Sneezein3s · 27/10/2019 10:08

Looking for ideas - took DS2 (6) to a Halloween bingo thing last night and he absolutely bloody loved it, anyone any ideas for similar numbers games?

Gustavo1 · 27/10/2019 10:23

That shirt code would have been ultra bargainous for DH. How did you come by it @VaprousDropProfound ? Would love to find one [santa]

Shitfuckoh · 27/10/2019 10:27

@NeedMoreTea the Happyland ones were under the 3 for 2 offer on ELC /thetoyshop website, i don't know if the offer is still on but it was great that it included them. Toot toot drivers or toot toot friends advent is also another option to look at - i've seen them on offer but not sure where/price

oxcat1 · 27/10/2019 10:28

Please can somebody help with ideas for boys?

  1. Siblings 9 & 11. Recently adopted and some special needs among the ADHD/behavioural lines, abs also very behind at school. Physical stuff better than mental.

  2. girl (7), boy (10), boy (12). Eldest boy very studious, but all bright.

Budget is £15 per head.

I was tempted by this Geomags mechanics construction set for the 12 year old, as now within budget at half price, but no idea if that is suitable at that age?

Also wondered whether the Teeter popper replica posted above would be good for the 9 year old? Or would that be too young for him...?

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 27/10/2019 10:44

thanks for the Aldi tip. I ordered running stuff for me and a beautiful nativity set for £14.99. they also had soft advent calendars for £9.99 which were cute. and the sloth is lovely, dd got one last year and loves it, but noticed they also have a grey one, I was so tempted but Mrs Snuffles does not need a girlfriend....

tabbycat985 · 27/10/2019 12:30

Also a Boden code for anyone who wants it!

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 27/10/2019 12:33

Thanks @imsorryiasked, @unkindnessofravens, and @Ruralretreating - some good ideas! I've set up a gravitrax CCC alert (i'd been interested in that before, but forgot about it!) and will look into some of those games. 💐

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 27/10/2019 12:37

I'd been thinking of a beginners skateboard, but don't want to pay more than £30ish... any recommendations for a 7 yo ? Had found one at House if Fraser on a good sale, but started reading reviews and realised I need to get one that is better quality so that he doesn't hurt himself or lose interest if it's rubbish

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 27/10/2019 12:39

This is the HoF no fear skateboard which is under £10 when using code AUTUMN20

Thread 10 - Sil loves organic & shit.
NerosFiddle · 27/10/2019 12:42

@tabbycat985 no they don't. I tried last year but it wouldn't let me.

scrappydappydoo · 27/10/2019 12:49

oxcat1 I’ve brought my nephews a stomp rocket. My DB (their dad) ended up playing with it the most ...
