Big favour - has anyone got an M&S code that they could PM me please? Want to do a big shop for PJs. Thank you!

Zillaindie · 14/10/2019 14:00

Finally bit the bullet and I've ordered the Asda toy kitchen for £35. The ikea one is unfortunately too high for the space we have.

Grateful of any recommendations or discounts for accessories to go with. Ideally not plastic.

Yeknom · 14/10/2019 14:02

Oh thanks @Changingagain - I'll keep my eye out beforehand too (I always forget about the daily deals!)

FlowerTink · 14/10/2019 14:09

@Zillaindie Not discounted but I bought some lovely wooden accessories last year to go with the toy kitchen from asda, it also comes in blue/grey I'm sure too. here

unexpectedthird · 14/10/2019 14:12

My Smafolk bag arrived and I am really impressed!

We got:

2 Christmas vests and one Christmas sleepsuit.

A fire engine vest, a racoon romper and two bibs.

I'm now just hoping the baby grows big enough in time to fit the Christmas stuff as I bought the next size up.

Daphine2004 · 14/10/2019 14:20

@Luxplus thanks for the Småfolk heads up. I had never heard of them before and was very happy with what we received for my son, aged 1-2: three long sleeved tops (bat print, apple print and car print) and a poncho towel.

I am annoyed I didn’t buy for my eldest who is 4, but was unsure of the sizes and now they’re all out. I’ll be buying from there again!

moldrum · 14/10/2019 14:25

@Luxplus another adding thanks from the lurking side my Småfolk bag 7-8 girls has just arrived 1 dress the red one with cats, the same print in leggings a plain red pair and also a long sleeved pink top with penguins, I think the dress on its own was more than the complete bag cost Grin

IHeartKingThistle · 14/10/2019 14:31

It's a long shot but I'm looking for any kind of discount on Moshulu. I got slippers from there last Christmas and DS is hankering after a pair but they don't do kids so I'm going to have to get him women's size 3! Not keen on being that spendy though, even to make a 10 year old happy Grin

BadgerFace · 14/10/2019 14:46

Smafolk just emailed me and they have 30% off in case anyone missed the surprise bags and/or wanted to pick their own bargain...

PinkDaydreams · 14/10/2019 14:47

Does anyone know if IKEA does delivery discount codes at all please?

Chocolateteabag · 14/10/2019 14:59

@Sizeofalentil - have PM'd you an M&S code - looks like there might be some more for this weekend coming

Luxplus · 14/10/2019 15:00

Thank you all for the nice words. I'm going to give the person who messaged me the benefit of thinking they just had a bad day or got a bad bag and ignore. And to those of you who really liked it, I can only recommend to follow their page on fb, they generally do surprise bags a couple a times a year.

RJnomore1 · 14/10/2019 15:04

This is from veryme Vodafone but I think the code is generic.

Google home mini for £20 with code VeryM1n1. Says down from £50, you can get elsewhere for about £28 but that’s £20 delivered so a decent saving.

Just bought MIL one 😃

recklessgran · 14/10/2019 15:13

@Luxplus I'm so sorry that you've been on the receiving end of somebody being nasty. That is NOT what this thread is for so I'm sending you a very unmumsnetty hug and I hope you're feeling the weight of everyone's thanks and good vibes from the thread. x

Courtney555 · 14/10/2019 15:28

@Luxplus

I wasn't a big fan of the Smafolk bag we got... But it appears if you pick "baby" (under 1yr), you get unisex grey and brown and black clothes, which I think is very different from the bags people have been getting for 1yr+ where you can specify boy/girl. C'est la vie Smile I've seen enough comments from people who've been delighted with what they've received to know we're the exception not the rule.

I can't believe someone has messaged you accusing you of benefitting from sharing that offer. It's not in keeping with this thread at all, and I think it's pretty clear that you don't. As other PP mentioned, I'd be reporting that. And keep sharing the bargains Flowers

recklessgran · 14/10/2019 15:33

@Barbarara thanks for the magnetic wristband idea - I'm doing a stocking for DH which feels very edible top heavy so I'm ordering one of those for him. Brilliant!

NoWordForFluffy · 14/10/2019 15:44

@Luxplus, I'd be screenshotting that message and posting it on here (or at least naming and shaming). How horrible. Flowers

I didn't buy a bag, but in previous less sensible! years I would've done! Xmas Grin

Is the kitchen delivery cost massive, @PinkDaydreams?

sleepismysuperpower1 · 14/10/2019 15:48

@Zillaindie try here for things to go with the kitchen :

NaraDeer · 14/10/2019 15:55

Smyths are having a sale tomorrow online and I store with some stuff up to half price including brands like NERF, Vtech and Fisher-Price.

PinkJam · 14/10/2019 16:13

@NaraDeer Thanks for the Smyths tip was going to order some today so will hold off until tomorrow now. Smile

Justonedayatatime11 · 14/10/2019 16:15

Has anyone seen any bargain selection boxes about yet? I need 10. I know they'll probably be on offer closer to Christmas but I'm trying to be organised this year!

Kutsy · 14/10/2019 16:15

Thanks Bluewavescrashing, Luxplus and noodledoodler for the Dr B codes! I’m off to shop. Xx

Barbarara · 14/10/2019 16:24

Not really a bargain per se but if anyone has dc into OG dolls you can print colouring pictures
I’m going to print some on thickish paper I have left over from my thesis and roll it up with some pink ribbon as a stocking fillers or dd.

recklessgran · 14/10/2019 16:36

Just reminding everyone that there is 15% off [full priced items] with code CC150919 at Matalan. [Some lovely Christmas bits on there.]

recklessgran · 14/10/2019 16:45

Ooops sorry I meant to say runs out on the 16th!
