Thank you @WhereIsThisGoing for the thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

I ordered a magnetic wristband from AliExpress and I’m going to order some more as stocking fillers for those inclined towards diy and whose hobbies include cursing about missing screws Hmm It was €3.42 with free shipping from JY Store if anyone else is interested, though plenty other sellers too. The photo on the site with the hammer is a bit of an exaggeration but it can pick up my sewing scissors easily.

@Luxplus that’s really not on. I didn’t buy one if the bags but I appreciate all the recommendations and tips on this thread and the lovely spirit. Sorry that happened to you.

Barbarara · 14/10/2019 11:14

I should add it took over a month to arrive.

MrsLem · 14/10/2019 11:15

@Luxplus that must have been really upsetting. I'm delighted with the bag (especially one print in particular which is adorable). I tried to order another one but they were out of stock. Thank you very much for recommending them!

I also buy mystery bags from Little Footprint (none available just now). They tend to announce them with short notice on their social media; I've had really nice contents (including Smafolk).

BigmouseLittlehouse · 14/10/2019 11:40

Just a quick update on the Entertainer birthday club - to get the discount you need to have been signed up for 3 weeks to the email list and then you get the code 3 weeks before your child’s birthday ( not sure if that means you have to be signed up 6 weeks before - I assume not). Anyway make sure you put the birthday date at least 3 weeks later than when you sign up.

Hopefully that makes sense Grin

Tentontessie · 14/10/2019 11:41

Has anyone seen any codes for QVC? They have lots of shiny things at the moment!

TellMeItsNotTrue · 14/10/2019 11:58

@Luxplus 😔 that's awful, I hope it doesn't put you off posting other offers, the rest of us appreciate you sharing it with us (I didn't buy but have enjoyed seeing what people have received)

It's not even like you got referral credit or anything (not that there is anything wrong with that as long as its on the right thread and made clear) you just shared what you thought was a good deal and it's been really popular

bettyskitchen · 14/10/2019 11:59

Thanks @Whattodowithaminute - I’ve never heard of souschef before and their gifts are fab! I’m off to dig up the referral code

vroc81 · 14/10/2019 12:05

@Luxplus that’s bang out of order just ignore.. I mostly lurk unless I’ve got codes to offer because I never find a bargain as fast as you lot but I love all the Scandi patterns but can’t justify the price of the likes of frugi etc full price so am really excited about my bag (currently waiting for collection at the post office)

And while I’m at it thanks everyone for the other bargains I’ve got!

imsorryiasked · 14/10/2019 12:08

Luxplus please report that PM - if someone is not able to decide whether a bargain is for them or not it's their own stupid fault.
For what it's worth I thought my bag was great value even though one of the outfits is not suitable for the intended recipient.
Had anyone else had problems with the swap/sale smafolk Facebook page? I requested to join last week but haven't been "accepted" - I don't use FB generally so don't know if there's something I need to do? (My request is showing as pending).

Happiness25 · 14/10/2019 12:08

I have just been sent 10 M&S codes. 20% off for clothing, beauty and homeware. Excludes schoolwear, furniture, stationery....

These are valid 17 - 21 October, so don’t start until Thursday.

Send me a message if you’d like one.

imsorryiasked · 14/10/2019 12:11

Two free bayliss and Harding sets if you subscribe to sainsbury's magazine.
(Not sure they're worth the £23 stated tho)

PinkJam · 14/10/2019 12:34

@Happiness25 I would love one of the codes please, have sent you a message Smile

Notlongnow1 · 14/10/2019 12:48

I'm sorry I asked, it took quite a while for my request to be accepted. It seems a small group and not lots of sales going on. Someone recommended a broader 'love for the scandi clothes' group which is far more active it seems if you are wanting to sell.

abitoflight · 14/10/2019 12:50

I apologise in advance for peaching to the converted as I would imagine people on this thread are, but a reminder to check statements as just found debited twice for one product

Unihorn · 14/10/2019 12:52

@Mynameisnotthis Mine loved the pop up pencil toy from Galt at that age, and also any kind of stacking tower or musical instrument (xylophone, drum, shaker etc.)

PinkDaydreams · 14/10/2019 12:54

@Unihorn @Mynameisnotthis my little one also has the pop up pencil you and loves it! Sainsburys normally sell it really cheap, I’ve seen it for £3 In there (the week after I bought it for £9 and had thrown my receipt away so couldn’t take it back)

CatelynStark · 14/10/2019 13:02

Just an update on the Red Carpet free earrings - mine arrived today and they’re lovely! They came in a little black velvety drawstring bag and a Swarovski tag. Whether they really are legit or not, I can’t say but they do look lovely and sparkly so thanks again to the OP.

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles · 14/10/2019 13:13

More of a lurker than a poster, and apologies if anyone has posted this already but ASOS have an extra 10% off sale items with code ASOSSALEEXTRA. Good for teens, but they also do The Ordinary stuff too.

Also wanted to say, the magnetic type bracelets posted by barbarara are also great for people who like sewing/embroidery, it's so easy to just pop your needle/pins on there. Don't get me started on the difference between the DIY ones clearly marketed at, and modelled by men, and the pink sewing ones which are more expensive Angry

Luxplus I hate cowardly PMs and would be posting it up with the sender's name but it would probably just start a fight Blush If someone has a concern surely they should say it "in public" but that would probably start a fight too Wink

Apart from all that GrinI love these threads, I have spent more than I should have already. I ordered the personalised glasses cloths as a joke for my teens (with their own faces on Grin) and couldn't resist giving them to them when they arrived - they loved them.

sugarplumfairy2010 · 14/10/2019 13:26

Does anyone have a skatehut discount code pretty please😊 my daughter has asked for roller skates for christmas but would like to get a bargain. Just picked up the kids Christmas pyjamas from marks and Spencer and they are great for the price I paid with someones lovely discount thankyou x

imsorryiasked · 14/10/2019 13:36

Thanks Notlongnow1 will have a look at that group.

RJnomore1 · 14/10/2019 13:39

I wonder whether the problem with the red carpet jewellery was the difference between jewellery MADE by Swarovski and jewellery which contains Swarovski crystals?

Both legit but they’re two different things?

Yeknom · 14/10/2019 13:45

Bit of a random one, do people think the ring doorbells (the video-ey things) will be on discount on Black Friday? x

bikinibottommuffintop · 14/10/2019 13:47

Red bubble have a sale on, code UPTO50. Just bought some cool posters for my kitchen!

Changingagain · 14/10/2019 13:51

Yeknom I've seen video doorbells on amazon's daily deals a few times so I should think so.

Isadora2007 · 14/10/2019 13:54

@Mynameisnotthis
What about some Lanka Kade animals from little footprints.co.uk and a book to go with them- like Oh Dear (farm animals) or Dear Zoo or similar? My just turned 1 year old grandson also loves his wellies!
