Thank you @WhereIsThisGoing for the thread title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

If anyone has football fans MandMDirect have cheap random football kits for children. DSD is collecting a few European ones at the moment so that's been handy for us.

Thank you for all the great bargains...
Just felt I wanted to clarify a thing regarding småfolk. I had a pm from one accusing me of making money from my recommendation of their surprise bag and said I had a hidden aganda Sad I do not work for småfolk nor do I gain anything from you guys buying from them. I actually work as a civil servant so have nothing personally to do with the småfolk company. I just like their clothes and have in the past been very lucky with the surprise bags.

FREE customised colouring pages to print out 🎅🎄🎅

Could be good to keep DC busy in December while you are busy, for adding to homemade advent calendars some days, in stockings for a quiet Christmas day activity to help them wind down ⛄

noodledoodler · 14/10/2019 10:04

Whattodowithaminute that’s so annoying as I placed a sous chef order last week! Recommend them as a website fwiw as have been pleased with orders previously (although this time Hermes have lost my parcel 🙄)

Sorry to hear that Luxplus. FWIW I appreciated the tip off and am happy with my bag.

Mynameisnotthis · 14/10/2019 10:28

Can anyone recommend baby/toddler toys? Baby will be 10 months at Christmas. Trying to learn from overbuying from first DC. I just need a couple of things to even up present piles. Perhaps 2 small and 1 medium sized. So far I’ve got a beatbo and a fisherprice workbench thing. Main presents are small ball pool and musical arch thing (both ‘recycled’ Grin). Budget preferably about £25/£30 for all 3 left to get!

mogtheexcellent · 14/10/2019 10:31

@Whatsername7 I always buy and return if I manage to get them discounted. If you do click and collect but dont bother collecting them the original order will be credited back to your account.

I have ordered DDs christmas day dress from TU over the weekend. I like to size up because she is tall but that size had already sold out.

Youvegotafriendinme · 14/10/2019 10:32

Sorry to hear that @Luxplus. I didn’t order one of the clothing bags but not nice that someone’s sent you that message. Relate and ignore Flowers

SaveMeBarry · 14/10/2019 10:33

@Luxplus That's really shitty Shock! Posters need to remember these threads are people sharing bargains and recommendations. Nobody is being forced to buy anything and as we're all grown ups (one would assume Hmm) we're surely all capable of judging what we consider "a bargain" and deciding whether to spend our money or not.

PinkDaydreams · 14/10/2019 10:34

@Mynameisnotthis my little one was similar age last Christmas. I bought him an ikea play tent that looks like a circus tent and he loves it! Wasn’t that expensive and it was great in the garden in the summer and in the house during the wet weather.

ClutchinMahPurrrls · 14/10/2019 10:51

Luxplus they can naff off. Thank you for pointing out a discount, say I!

Somerville · 14/10/2019 11:01

@Luxplus - Report that DM to MN. It’s not in the spirit to send an accusation of that type.

(If someone has a concern that a recommendation is being made for surreptitious commercial gain, report the suspicion to MN, who can generally tell if you’re right - or set your mind at ease. Nothing I’ve read on these threads has ever made me concerned about this issue, BTW - it would stick out like a sore thumb if someone tried it, I reckon. Sometimes people try it in other parts of the sites, rather than pay HQ for proper advertising.)

BadgerFace · 14/10/2019 11:05

@Luxplus sorry to hear that, ignore! FWIW I’ve bought a surprise bag. It hasn’t arrived yet but even if the things in it aren’t to my taste then that’s the risk you run when buying a surprise box... I was persuaded by the photos of what one of the others poster received, it looked fab! Great brand that you can sell on in any case.
